Rival casinos-How they ban your play after win

Recently i had a very good day at Rival Casinos which i love to play, althou i lost more then won in last year. But on Friday i had good session. First i made 2 withdrawals at Simon Says for 800 and 500, then after losing in cocoa and pantasia i won at Superior and made 3 withdrawals for 1k. Me happy:D
Then first thing i noticed after few hours to cool down, was, that at Superior i can't make any large bet anymore. Coin size was 5cent maximum, not as before that i could play 50cent coin size. Asked online help, they sugested i restart and all will be ok. In that time i got mail from cocoa for 10$nd chip and 100% promo that is waiting in cashier, as always after losing deposits. Tryed to redeem 10$ chip, was denied. Also for 100% deposit bonus. Asked online why is that, as i got mail for those promos, and after a while i was informed that managment decide that i'm not eglible for any promotions. Tried to get reason, but they are not obliged to tell me why. That was strange, since in cocoa i was only ever make one or 2 withdrawals and much more deposits. Then tried other Rivals and everywhere i was denied bonuses. Finnally one guy in online help told me that i was banned for promotions in all Rival casinos except Slotos Cash. And that, they are not obliged to tell me reason for ban.From Simon Says i even gotr mail that i can play with them, but no more promotions for me.
Biggest surprise came from Superior casinos, that they are not agreeing with Rivals about that policy, and i'm welcomed at their casino, and they will gave me all the promotions that i deserve, since they aplaud winning players not as Rival casinos policy to ban someone who won something. Just sended papers that Superior required for withdraw. Now we will see what SimonSays will do. Maybe they will even acuse me a bonus abuser, since i dont even know how to become one, but guess they have right to not disclose this to me.

So far i only had good expirience with Rivals, and this one struck me. Guess only Superior casino and Slotoscash will stay. Hope money will come eventually. So far i never waited more then one or 2 days, guess that will change.

40 minutes, after i sended documents to security department at Superior casino i got this for reply:

Many thanks for sending Superior Casino the requested documents. I am pleased to confirm that they have been reviewed and accepted by our security department. Your deposit limits will now be increased and/ or your withdrawal processed.
 
TIV did the same thing to me. Worst part was there was a $200 birthday bonus for me to claim that I couldnt because of "reasons" they didnt have to tell me. After speaking with the rep here at CM he told me that my BJ and VP play outside of slots was nearly perfect and this was the reason the computer picked me out as a winner. I was told I could continue to play at TIV but I would not receive bonuses.

Its a shame because I moved over to the other Rivals (sloto, superior, simons says, etc) and havent won jack. Not even a withdrawal.

I guess I was labeled a skilled player even though I mainly played slots. I just thought I was lucky for a change.

That is ridiculous. They, more than anyone, should know that even with a 1-2% HA that Blackjack offers, the casino IS ALWAYS GOING TO WIN in the LONG RUN.
 
This seems like the breaking news story of the day here, so as long as you are losing in their casinos you will continue to get bonuses but once you make a cashout you are considered a skilled player or bonus abuser and you will be banned from future bonuses and promotions ??

I'm curious now why they have not banned KK from bonuses with his play and cashouts just like the one from the thread the other day ??

I could never imagine Harrah's Land Based casino doing something like this !!
 
Worst of all is this "cloak and dagger" bullshit, trying to make out the player has done something "fraudulent" and saying they cannot reveal why they suddenly find their coin size reduced, and bonuses denied. They make things worse still by seeking to "criminalize" the player by still sending out the mailers, and showing offers in the cashier, but having these denied for "reasons". It is a bit like when a child questions a parent, and is told "because....." as they are expected to obey without fuss. Perhaps Rival prefer players with the mental capacity of "children" who will play and play without showing "responsibility", but need to get rid of "adult" players who play well, and cash out after a decent streak rather than losing it all back.

This further reveals that this "central database" is far more sinister than we were lead to believe. It was supposed to be for identification of "bonus abusers", and to prevent them from hitting all the Rival casinos. Now, it seems it is set to log merely lucky WINNERS, who play within "the spirit of the offers", yet have a lucky streak followed by the good sense to cash out.

Superior seem to have broken ranks, realising that "luck" is just that, and a lucky player, enticed back, is likely to have more LOSING streaks than winning ones. They seem to be happy to reveal that this is an overall Rival policy targeted at winners and good players, and nothing to do with the sins of fraud or "bonus abuse". Slot O Cash are the ONLY independent Rival, all the rest are one big group, just as Jackpot Factory are the overall operators of their five casinos. All these "new" Rivals springing up seem to be "white labels" of Rival Central, and information is shared between them all. Likely to confuse players, who may well have over a DOZEN accounts with what is really only ONE operator, so they may indeed view as "to be got rid of" a player who opens accounts at a large number of "new" Rival casinos, and plays with promotions in most or all of them.

Rival need not bother refusing to offer explanations, as over the last year this "secret policy" has become clearer, and any player reading this, and other, threads about Rival bans will have a good idea what they got banned for.

Other casinos also bonus ban players for simply being lucky, rather than playing "perfectly" to maximise each and every bonus offered, and never playing without one. Rival seem to have gone to an extreme, with cashins of relatively small amounts seem enough to trigger these bans, whereas other casinos wait for larger, and more consistent performance, before bonus banning players, and they do it better, the offers just don't come.

The simple answer is to uninstall all the Rivals except Superior and Slot O Cash, and any player who finds their bonuses have stopped working should immediately assume they are banned for "winning" at ALL their Rival accounts except these two, rather than wasting their time with support, who will simply lead them round in circles. (A bit like Casino Rewards behave really).
 
I only play at Slotocash and I have never had this happen. I just cashed out $1300 to and still have $1000 to go and I still get the same comps I always have and I can guarantee I could bet $20 per spin or better if I so choose.

How strange. I know some people who have been bonus banned from Rivals. I never play with a bonus unless it is the monthly 100%. Don't know if that makes a difference or not.

They are going one step further by stating these remarks and a poor choice of words at that. It seems that they want to ensure that every players loses at each and every one of their casinos. I have won at both TIV and Absolute Slots and they now ban me from promotions and I also had a free chip denied when it was due because they just had me on their 'no-promo list' in the nick of time. Cocoa is even worse. I made a deposit with no bonuses and lost all. When I asked why there were no promotions offered in the cashier they simply said I wasnt eligible for it. Disgusted, I closed my account right away. Only casinos like Paradise 8, Lion Slots and Irish Luck still give me promos because I am losing there. Slotocash is the only exception. I think I am still up there and as Anniemac said they still give me the comps and bonuses.

They sure are a short-sighted bunch. The bonuses all come with WRs that are calculated to make you lose in the long run so even if you are ahead because of them your lead will gradually be whittled down. Without bonuses, slot play with high variance becomes very unattractive. I play Scary Rich only when I take bonuses because even if I do lose I get more play time. Well, rant over and since the scrooges prefer to do it this way I dont patronise them. That's all.

That's the part I don't understand. With just the right amount of wagering requirements for each bonus, they can make it near mathematically impossible to "beat" the bonus if you play Blackjack, VP or any other game that is considered a "vantage" game.

...especially if the bonuses were phantoms to begin with...

Why let a player roam free without any wagering requirements? It seems to me that they'll win MORE off of no bonus than even the smallest of them. Heck, why not get rid of all table and VP games while they're at it? :p That'll just leave the FUN games of Craps, Roulette, Keno and Slots.....ya know, those that have a huge HA.

I think it was good that the response was personal and not just a generic one as John stated.
They at least deserve credit for being honest and up front about the ban.

Of course they are the ones that offer the bonuses and the player merely accepts or refuses them so obviously they only offer bonuses they expect the player to lose on so when the player wins it is simply sour grapes to ban them from future bonuses.
Very poor PR IMO and there must be a better way to handle things.

I guess pocketdigger you could simply turn around and say fine I will take my money elsewhere.
 
Also don't use the reverse withdrawal option to deposit to claim a bonus, it means instant bonus ban. Got promotions removed at both Simon Says and TiV for this, but not at any other Rival casino so don't think they are using a central database for this.
 
I dont understand why SS and TIV are doing this. Have they said that reversing a w/d to claim a bonus is prohibited? Actually, they should be welcoming this as this ensures that the player actually deposits. Otherwise, once the w/d process is completed a player may have second thoughts about depositing to get a bonus or he may choose another casino instead.
 
Even though I admit all my profit from the last 7.5 years has been made by making use of bonuses, I still think of them as a privilege - not a right. Some players seem to think that the casinos should be obliged to give them bonuses regardless of how the player uses them.

I have no problem with casinos deciding to not offer further bonuses to a player for any reason they see fit, provided of course that any current bonus, deposit & winnings in play is honoured & paid out first.
I have been bonus-banned a few times, but I just shrugged my shoulders & moved on to other casinos.

I am concerned that most Rivals seem to have a central database and bonus ban people across different groups, and I personally think that is very unfair, but at the end of the day it's their prerogative.

John's reply seems at variance with experiences posted here. He says that there are narrow criteria, which are players nearly always beating bonuses with minimum wagering, and playing advantageous games such as Blackjack and Video Poker. HOWEVER, we see reports from SLOTS players who have a decent run, cash out, and then get the bonus ban.

What makes this even worse is that they still offer the bonuses to these players, but retrospectively deny them when they are claimed. This is worse than the usual "banned from all FUTURE promotions" that many casinos use.

Perhaps if Rival handled this issue better, and with a good deal more openness and honesty, there would be fewer complaints.

Making an offer to a player, and then saying "you can't have it, and we don't have to say why" leaves the player thinking "what the **** have I done to deserve this:confused:". Since, in fact, they have broken no rules, they conclude the only logical reason is that they have cashed out ahead (quite a sensible move for RESPONSIBLE gambling criteria). This is supported further by the fact the casino has to hide behind "we can't say why", which is normally used against fraudsters and serial bonus abusers. This leaves players feeling they have been branded "criminals" unjustly by the casino, and worse still, have had this accusation passed along to all the other Rival casinos - they will then vent in public, and this may be more to get closure on why they have been "victimised" rather than because they expect to get all the juicy bonuses back.

Since the entire online casino business is run around bonuses and promotions, denying these to a player makes then feel left out and unwanted, yet they still like to play on an equal footing with the others.

It is far better to have specific criteria for eligibility in the terms and conditions, so that players know how they qualify for a particular bonus, and will understand when they fail to meet the criteria, and don't get the offer. Bonuses can be personalised, so that players who do well at Blackjack and VP should perhaps be offered slots only bonuses rather than more Blackjack and VP bonuses. If they then use the doubling up strategy on Blackjack and then grind out on slots, there would be a good reason for excluding them as they will have played an excluded game with the bonus.

Slots bonuses are the safest for casinos to offer, as they cannot be "advantage played" provided the WR are properly set.
 
Today i removed 7 Rival Casinos from my desktop where i'm not more eligible for promotions since a longer time as a conseqeunce of their security system.

It make no sence to discuss about their system where identify bonus abuser or what else they mean therewith.

I let TIV also on my desktop because John give me from time to time bonusses and he could only manage this for his Casino for me.

The only one you can do is what VWM said and i have transferred.

That's my personally conseqeunce that i have pulled and i'm tired from this never ending story.

Sorry all deleted Rivals, i always liked playing on your casinos and always played very well but not under these Circumstances.

Good luck to all where can still playing at these Casinos and will hopefully not ban ;)
 
About 4 months ago, I deleted all of them except Slotocash. I have never had one problem with Slotocash, never been bonus blocked. Actually like I stated before, I rarely play with a bonus unless it is a good one. I got tired of messing with the others about getting paid. TIV and Pantasia used to give me bonuses daily. Then they quit paying and I quit playing.

And just to derail a little, I cashed out $2000 from Sloto yesterday at 3 different times, the latest was around 6:00p.m. By 8:00p.m. the money was in my QT account. Now you can't beat that for service. That's why they get my money. :thumbsup:

Yes you should and how annie said until now it gave no problems with them.

But it gives also a few new rivals of where are no problems until now and hopefully it remains so also.

In the moment for me it's Irish Luck and Absolute Slots.

Playing also at Club Vegas, Slots of Fortune and finally at TIV how John like to let me play. :D
 
I must correct about Absolute Slots.

Not for myself but for one of our members where is ban... after his first bonus there and he was able to make a cash-out.

Precisely, This is exactly what happened to me. Going through my casinos to see if anyone gave me a birthday bonus, none, none, 3dice, and wow $200 from TIV. Great!! Go to claim, denied. The bonuses continued to stay in the cashier section and I continued to get get promo emails until I rattlled off a few smart ass replies to support and they finally stopped. This was 5 months ago and I havent been back since.

I think it is a consensus that Sloto is the only Rival worth playing at. They still give me the good bonuses and even free chips from time to time.

Has anyone noticed the rollovers for Absolute Slots? Thats freaking highway robbery.
 
This seems to be the tone lately. That is so ridiculous. Its funny, at B&M's when a player is on a roll they up the min instead of lower it

rival seem good at shooting themselves in the foot, i know casino's are not required to give bonuses but as a business you would think they would want to attract players, not drive them away, if i received an email ike that i would think FU, ill deposit elsewhere, somewhere where they appreciate my custom,:rolleyes:
