Anyone else tried this new MG slot yet?
I just gave it a go - and it's VERY interesting!

After every spin you can re-spin any one of the 5 reels independently & indefinitely... for a price.
Obviously the price is calculated from the odds of hitting the symbol you need for the win (the prices are different for each reel and for each symbol needed).

If you don't hit the symbol, you win £0.
i.e. If you have 4-of-a-kind and spin reel 5 for the 5th and DON'T hit it, you don't get paid for the 4oak again.

Here's a nice little run I just had on it; Started with £100 - went down to about £50 and back up before starting the sequence below, which peaked at over £300 at one point, and I quit the game on £200.

Having got the 5 Red 7's on a win-line, I was re-spinning reel 3 at £8.29 a pop
Not for the faint-hearted, but you have to remember this cost is proportional to the potential wins:
ANY 7 in position 1 or 2 returns at least £5.
Red 7 in position 1 returns £25.00 (or more with another 7 below it)
Red 7 in position 2 returns £37.50 (or more with another 7 above it)

With multiple 7s on the reel I was getting some sort of win every 3-4 spins.

(Note: This first shot was taken after spinning reel 5 not reel 3, hence the lower win)

You can rest assured that this new type of slot wasn't invented to make it easier to win.........

It will be just as easy to do your balls on this as any other slot (yes I said SLOT not sl*t)

Personally I find them boring.

Is it just me or is one of the new ones a clone of Alaskan fishing?

 I think the same!!!!!!

And the respins are too misleading, if you dont take the control you can loose all in seconds!!!!!!

may be i am paranoid but the outcome of resins looked predetermined to me, kind of like when you pick a bonus. Also the "price" seems to be to high.

A dollar to spin all 5 reels or 8 bucks to spin one.

If you're only winning 37 bucks on an 8 dollar spin you'd better be getting an awful lot of those red 7s.

KK, the new game Reel Gems or whatever it is called is the same, for a price u can spin a certain wheel again!

You ain't kidding!
I'm 100% serious; these slots could lead some people into a SERIOUS gambling problem - if I had the power, I would ban them today.

Why?
Because last night, playing at £1.25 per spin I got the Diamonds on reels 1, 3, 4 & 5... to re-spin reel 2 would cost me £33.27 - that's just for ONE spin of ONE reel... and I hit it!
Guess what? The other Diamond popped in, winning me £200!
You can guess what happened VERY quickly to my balance after that...

Omg, its even worse than I thought!
First thought it was for just one spin, or until the fith symbol hits, but you can just continue forever if you want!

Just look at it as a variant on the "GAMBLE" feauture, also one of those buttons you'll hardly ever touch, if ever.
I've already promised myself NEVER to use the respin, just as I NEVER use the gamble feauture.

Its a road to disaster and even faster bustouts.
Way to go MG!

If you have had a long session with many free spin rounds that didn't pay much and you had only 10-20 bucks left on a buck a spin, you could always try a respin for a third scatter as I think I noticed it didn't cost as much. Better this way as your very likely to trigger the third scatter and hope for a big enough payout to cover the respins than just zero out without seeing that last feature.
