[Resolved] How long should I wait before a P and B?

I believe Max is probably talking about continuing to talk about the problem in the forum. ... Best advice is to wait for the rep to respond and not talk about it any longer if you are going to use the PAB.

Quite so, generally speaking an issue can be bandied about on the forums OR handled via PAB, not both.

@ secret : sorry about the "gumpf" but PABs are non-trivial issues from our point of view and procedures are required in order for the process to run as smoothly as possible. All parties need to know where they stand, hence the FAQ.

The core of the PAB process is described in Section 3, here. You really should read the whole FAQ but if that's not an option then section 3 will more or less put you on the right track. If you screw up though don't blame me: the FAQ is there for a reason, we assume that PABers will read and respect it, especially those that have been around as long as you have. Newbies have half an excuse for not knowing the ropes, forum old timers really don't.

So yeah, stop posting about your issue, wait to hear from the rep. If that doesn't pan out then don't hesitate to PAB (after you've read the FAQ). Simples. :)

There's lots of stuff in the faq, but that's to cover anything. Your case seems pretty clear from what I see, if you look at the PAB form you'll see it's fairly simple.

TBH I don't know that it will be necessary, I think it's a mixup and you'll get it straightened out. IF though, they contact you and tell you that after checking there's a max cashout, then I'd be PABing as soon as possible.

Thanks Beth! Yes, I do feel better now. I felt like a tumbleweed, just whirling around on a desert highway....all alone...:(...just tumbling and rolling with nowhere to go...:(;):D

A bit like the Ikea lamp, that was just abandoned on the sidewalk in the rain in the dark...( I could go on but my lips are sealed)
 
Don't feel too bad, a while back a PABer thought it meant "Preach And Bitch". Not too sure what that would sound like but the idea of me as a preacher was worth a chuckle.

But my van needs winter tires. My Van is almost paid off. My insurance will be up to date. Jim needs a new muffler. Annie wants some goumet dog food..( she had some dry dog food with home made pea soup last night...she loved it!)
