RESOLVED: All British casino - Withheld Funds?

Hi, after some advice please.
Won just over 1k on 5 Jan 2026, got distracted by something else at home, when I went to log back on and withdraw the winnings had disappeared and I was left with 98p. They are saying that a card I do not own deposited £10 on the same day and they need me to verify it? How do I do that when I do not own the card, I only have a Mastercard which is linked to my Apple Pay and is the only card I have used and own. They just keep saying I need to send the details otherwise they won’t release my funds and have closed my account. I have sent them so many forms of ID I do not know what else I can do.

So either a third-party payment method was used, which is strictly forbidden at online casinos due to RG and AML issues, or are you saying your account has been hacked and drained???

All I know is that i didn’t make the £10 deposit and now I can’t withdraw my winnings. I cant send them info of a card I don’t have. I think whoever did the deposit then tried to withdraw my funds as they at first said that I had withdrawn £999 then £300. I think they have locked my account but they are not taking my word that I did not make that deposit 😩 sorry if I’m rambling

Thank you to all who have helped me it is very much appreciated. I may be back if I have anymore issues like changing my password.

So, the casino acted to protect your security and ringfence your funds, which you can now withdraw. An attempted hack victim, there's a lot of it going on. Use every care now with your password, a new and complex one and preferably get a new e-mail addy too.

was about to say because last year we created a mechanic where this "steal of funds" is no longer possible to conduct.

just make sure in general that for any platform you have access to, your PW is unique to that platform.
Constantly hacks occur where personal data is stolen. with or without pw. However, if you use a similar password across al your platforms youre use, your still exposed.

Me personally I have unique logins for each platform. Casinos, socials, banking, insurance, you name it. All unique.

Fair enough, but you were lucky they spotted it, locked it and saved your money, there's many cases coming to light if you look around the forum where the player lost it all in similar circumstances.

This is what can happen if you use the same details on multiple log-ins, one gets stolen they all do.
 
@L&L-Jan why doesn’t All British use 2fa? In fact none of the UK licensed casinos I’ve ever played at use 2fa, yet all of the crypto casinos I use do offer 2fa (for some it is mandatory).
I know this question wasn’t directed at me, but I thought I’d give my opinion.

I don’t think recreational gambling sites attract clients who are comfortable with 2FA. Crypto users are much more used to it and it would be normal, but I fear that if UK sites were to roll it out to the wider audience it would cause a lot of problems.

It’s good to get multiple views on this. But it is a sad state of affairs that some people would struggle with 2fa 😞

I might be wrong, but as you point out there are no UK facing gaming sites that I use that use it and there must be a reason. :)

That is very short sighted. L&L have gone above and beyond here and you are extremely lucky. If I was them I’d consider closing your account since you can’t keep your password safe! 😜
 
Infostealers easily can get around 2FA as it takes your session cookies so while they won't know your password per say. They won't have to use 2FA as the cookie has it set to "approved" since this is taken after you are logged in. As long as they don't click a setting where it would prompt it, they can do whatever you can do. Other wise, each time you clicked something while logged in, you would need 2FA again. That would get annoying quick!

2FA is helpful if they do know your login and password though, but if they have your session cookie, none of the 2FA protections work unless is it prompted later will help.

Stop being such a big girls blouse about your drama and count your blessings that you have found a casino that has a frantastic rep in this forum.
And to those who give or have given casino and provider reps such a harsh time in here to the point where we lost them for good pause for thought.
They need to trust to give us a chance to trust them with their help as well as comps.

I do have an issue with you wanting to turn your back on a casino with a rep in here how may have seen your passage through with your issue to a positive result.
Sorry to be so rude. It was more of a post for us to respect our resident reps than anything else given that your not yet a regular poster.

I respect everyone and especially the rep who helped me resolve the issue I had.
I have asked for my account to be closed temporarily, I will be changing my email and passwords and I am sure I will be back on the site in no time😊
