Qweenie, if you made a chargeback because of a delayed payment issue Box24 and you repay, I thing Box24 will probably live up to their commitemnt to welcome you back. As a Canadian(no longer welcome at Rival) I no longer read every Rival thread, but Box24 seems to be stand alone.
I think that repaid or not you will be on a negative player database, especially at all Rival casinos, and almost every terms and conditons I'v signed at says you have no chargebacks.
You need to sleep at night, if you unfairly charged back in panic, pay up. Get in in writing from Box24 your account is good to go.
But please be aware that it could haunt you elsewhere, even if paid in full.
Bear in mind the player who DID clear up a similar issue with SlotoCash (another independent Rival), and got the all clear from SlotoCash. This Is Vegas STILL refused to pay out his $80K win because of the issue at Slotocash, even though as far as Slotocash was concerned, it was "sorted".
Whilst Box24 may well keep their word, this CANNOT be said about other Rivals, who can see the "red flag" for this chargeback in the central Rival database.
Given the damage chargebacks can do for the operators, perhaps these OPERATORS should change their ways a little, and NOT lock accounts at the drop of a hat without proper explanation, or without checking their facts first.
This all started with Box24 screaming "invalid phone number", which to someone NEW to online gambling, who KNOWS there is nothing "invalid" about their own phone number, will have them screaming "I've been scammed" and acting on the spur of the moment by stopping the payment, rather than arguing the case with the casino as a more seasoned player would.
Morally, Box24 are STILL due this payment if they have "sorted out" the issue of the phone number after further investigation.
The US facing industry in particular needs to look at it's own actions to understand WHY increasing numbers of players have been resorting to the chargeback. The ROGUES have targetted US players as "easy marks" because they dare not complain to the authorities about getting scammed, and they know that many of the reputable operators have abandoned the US market. Worse, the software suppliers and so-called "licensing jurisdictions" look the other way & collect the fees, whilst showing little interest in protecting the players. The chargeback is the ONLY weapon that US players have that can REALLY hurt the casinos
