Remarkable day at Videoslots!

it seems a dead issue that my only options are bank wire or direct visa to visa (or if a canadian is doing the contest then its easy peasy email to email).

so I'll let GG (orginal contest creator) post amd decide if runner up or if it's my prize to raffle off in a contest :)

ok thanks.
my apologies to GG and Cheers.for the contest and bummer such a grief.
my googling showed Canadians could use paysafe and that my casinos accepted them. didn't know about the country ro country grief involved. :)

Well I have to say I'm not sure what to do now and it's very annoying. I can not find anything about changing paysafecard to neosurf, how is that done? And if paysafecard can only be used in my country then that's not good at all and any competition won't make sense. You said it "blocks the deposit because of country origin (uk)", is that what is showed? I'm not from UK so maybe the pin will work in other European countries, just not for Canada? If not then I'd probably have to just use it myself and go back to sending a prize to someone via Skrill. It truly is very annoying to not be able to easily send the money to you, my apologies for that. Hopefully we'll manage some solution. I imagine no one in Europe will have an easy and cheap way to send the money to Canada?

OK then, I sent them an e-mail asking if they could change an unused pin for a Canadian one, hopefully they'll answer today even though it's Saturday. There also seems to be a 24/7 support phoneline though I will not be able to call it now, perhaps dionysus could call them later and ask them to change the pin?

Yes, I'm not able to make a call at the moment, will try later.

Unless it has changed when you call them they ask for a copy of voucher and where it was brought etc.

The annoying part of it is the department that actually deals with it you can not speak to and they do not work at weekends. Once you call them you will find out it is Monday at the very earliest before anything will be done. I brought a paysafe before on a Saturday morning and it would not work which is how i know the department that actually deals with it does not work weekends.

Also noway Dionysus can ask anything about the voucher as you need to have physical copy with you to send them an email with a copy of it.

Thanks for the information Paul, much appreciated. As for the voucher, it's not a physical one - I bought it in their official online store, no physical copy, just a PDF.

OK, don't know whether this would be possible but guess it's worth a try... Dionysus opens Paysafe account in Canada and gives you login details afterwards. You login from UK and top up using that voucher. He then should be able to deposit with paysafe (on paysafe deposit page there is an option to deposit using paysafe account).

I have just logged into my "holiday" paysafe account I use abroad and it let me in no problem.

No problem at all, hopefully we'll manage to sort it out, the two ideas seem like they could work, gonna have to get in contact with them right after the weekend and ask both about exchanging the pin to a Canadian one as well as you opening the account there and me topping it up here. Unfortunate that it takes this much time, but what can you do.

It's not good at all :( They told me on the phone that due to regulations it would not be possible to change the pin so that it would work for you there - apparently it's still money and so regulations, limitations and so on :( The account thing is also impossible as logging into a Canadian account here would automatically get flagged and the account very likely blocked. One thing that I thought of now is asking Dan (if you play at Videoslots) if I could top up your VS account from here, I think he knows about this thread and would know that nothing shady is going on here, but of course that is certainly not in accordance with the casino T&C's so it would have to be Dan's good will - if at all possible. Other than that, I really do not see a way out of this, sorry :/ It's a bummer but apparently the world isn't as connected as we'd like when it comes to money.

I have seen Dan being asked this before on other threads (cant remember exactly which one) but he has said previously that he cannot do that.

Dan can't help. Bank transfer is the only obvious option. Maybe what JD said can also help or point to another way. I would suggest this discussion to continue in private, since known solutions tend to get blocked!

Last time I did a bank transfer ( UK to NZ ). It was only £100 xmas money to my Mum, she only ended up with £40 worth of NZ$ in her account after fees. my end and hers.

This year I just took the risk of sending it inside her card.

from a quick google looks like along with Skrill, neteller pulled out of Canada

I just checked and Canada is available for country selection during registration as is Candian dollars...Is Skrill not already available to you?

If it's not available to you...I could set you up a Skrill account in euro (since the paysafe voucher is in euro) and give you the Log in details.

You can then use this account and put the voucher into Skrill (There's a 7% fee for depositing to Skrill using paysafe, this would leave you with €46.50).

Then it's simply a matter of using this Skrill account to deposit into your casino with the euro currency and having it automatically converted into your CAD.

Whether your prefered casino allows you as a Canadian to use Skrill is another matter ;)

But there is 100% a way around this somehow

There is one Alternative which is Bitcoin. But it would require that you both know how to use it.

You would need to do a few steps.

1. Download a wallet to your computer (100% use Electrum as it will not need to download the Blockchain data to your computer which can take up over 70Gb of space)
2. You will need to find a merchant in your country that allows you to buy bitcoin.
3. Deposit and receive your funds into your wallet using this merchant. (Bitcoin Buyer)
4. Transfer funds into the other person wallet using their Bitcoin Address.
5. Withdraw funds to you Bank through a merchant (Bitcoin Receiver).

I haven't used bitcoin in years but there is alot of useful information on how to use it and where to buy Bitcoin.

If you are new to Bitcoin you may find it confusing, but if you do a little research you will figure it out easily enough.

But the main things you should know is that you will need a Digital Wallet (Electrum) and a "Middleman" vendor to "Buy" Bitcoins and "Sell".

This method guarantees 100% that you can transfer money from A to B without any country/currency restrictions what so ever...It can also be a little hassle.

So can Canadians use Skrill or not? I found the information from some time ago that they will stop processing gambling payments but Skrill itself will still work, is that the case? If yes then could I not simply send you 50e via Skrill and you will keep it and use somehow not related to gambling? If you wanted to try to pass the win on you could deposit from another source then? Is that at all possible and ok for you?

If that ever came into the UK as the only deposit method, I would give up

well probably but it wouldn't allow me to try to win and pay it forward.
at this point I say since you have the numbers still and I can't use them perhaps start a brand new contest for everyone since it stalled with me stating it's for members from the same country as the paysafe so as to not waste it and continue from there. :)

I'll just have to avoid contests unless it's visa to visa , bank transfer or Canadian hosting :)

Is he not able to withdraw from Skrill to his bank account in Canada

Nearly 3 weeks into 2018, it is time for the first comp for the year! :D

Prize is $/EUR/GBP 50 and will go to the member who posts the closest guess. Will leave the contest live for the next 12 hours or when we reach 10 guesses.

How many WL's did I score in the past 3 years?

Rules as usual, full members with minimum 50 posts only. Payment by EP, Neteller or PP.

Good Luck!

Well, it is turning into another remarkable day at Videoslots. Exactly the same three slots as the initial ones on the first remarkable run brought me up to $12K so far!

Withdrew so far $3.4K and this is my current balance after a nice hit on TSII. Total deposits from my own money today were $300

228x bet :D
