Hi all and Happy New Year! I haven’t been here awhile (which is a good thing ... no offence to all the lovely people here lol). I’ve been happily playing at RedBet over the last few months. Great payout times... super nice chat service...

BUT... have had some issues with the software. To begin with it was the live casino. I expect things can go wrong when its live but the issues I had were odd. I’d place bets on immersive roulette in plenty of time and several times I would get a message saying bets weren’t received in time. Wouldn’t you know it when that happened one of my numbers would come up. That happened heaps of times. I wouldn’t have minded if the same had happened and it wasn’t one of my numbers. But every single time I got the error then it was one of my numbers. One or 2 times I expect to be a coincidence but not after several.
I wrote to chat and they told me it would be forwarded. After 2 sessions of this I did receive a weak explanation... it wasn’t an explanation really. But I made the decision to just not play the live casino again.

Now here is why I am writing. Over the last 3 weeks Mega Moolah The Dark Knight has not loaded in redbet.... kept coming up with a 212 error.

Wrote to chat but they could not tell me what the error was... “will be forwarded to the rightful department” is the standard reply.

On New Years Eve... yay the game loaded. Happily playing along and then I get the Jackpot Bonus... make my selection ... and wouldn’t you know it? Error 212... again! Write to chat... obligatory reply “will be forwarded to the rightful department”. Who knows what I could have won? It may have been the mini or the mega jackpot!
But as I knew the game had been playing up I wasn’t too cross about it.

Until today (haven’t played since New Years)... I play Mega Moolah... the lion version which loaded and played fine... got the Jackpot Bonus ...and all of the above was repeated!!! I get the same error!! Again, who knows what I could have won. But it really doesn't matter! It's the fact that it isn't working as it should.

No good writing to live support as they are hopeless when it comes to these errors, as is their tech department who have not gotten back to me about the error with The Dark Knight!

Am done with RedBet... which is sad because I like to play there. But these errors just aren’t acceptable.

I would like to hear from the rep who can explain.

All sorted! Thanks Adam for the quick response. Much appreciated. I feel valued as a customer and for that I'm definately 'not done with RedBet'.

In the future you might want to follow the forum rules and PM first the casino rep to get his assistance before posting a complaint about a very reputable casino.

Glad you got it sorted, I did not expect anything less from Redbet

Fair enough. I should have. In my defence I had written several times to support about these issues over the last couple of months. This was a last resort. But yes, I will take your advice and pm a rep beforehand.

Just a follow up... Adam from RedBet has been great. Sorting though issues though that affect other players.

Mega Moolah games have been taken down... some games load and tell you you don't have enough balance... some link to entirely different games.

Adam... I gotta go play somewhere else for awhile until you get this sorted. Am mentioning here in case others have the same problems. But anyone who does should know support from the rep is second to none!

Hopefully I will be back!

Just a quick note to add as hopefully Adam/the rep will see this and maybe able to help.....

Since the site underwent some 'updates/changes' the game screens are tiny, even on fully screen mode they are pretty small still in comparison to 'other' casinos.

What ever happened when on Redbet you clicked/chose a game and it opened in a new full screen pop up window??

This was much better and I do feel contributes to the player experience, those of us who are 'getting on a bit' have to squint nowadays to see if the 3rd scatter had landed!

I still make the occasional deposit @ Redbet (1-2 times a week) but have 'backed off' this small screen being the only reason, otherwise a great casino!

Just to let all know still the same issue with linking via the player win promos on there main page.

Last time I clicked on the link saying x player won x amount on Sparticus... but it opened Ariana. Wrote to Adam about this and he said he didn’t find an issue.

Same thing happened today! Thought I’d give them a couple of weeks to sort these problems. Today it was a player that won x on Foxin Wins Again. Guess what? It opened Ariana! And to boot... Foxin Wins Again doesn’t exist at Redbet! And after another search, neither does Sparticus.

Eh am done... too many issues. And I can’t even play my favourite Jackpot games either :(

Well this is the reply from Adam...

Foxin' Wins Again is blocked in your country. So are some other games. That's why you can't find them. When you see the recent winners feed and click on a link to a game that is blocked in your country, it will take you to the next available game. Since the list in the screenshot I sent you is in alphabetical order, that game would be Ariana.

So beware fellow Australians!!!!

It would be nice to know which games are blocked! And perhaps a message to say so. But no.... that's too much to ask hey.

But why even allow Australians to play? To get money of course... am cynical I've done quite well with them until recently.

This has been a long drawn out process here with Redbet. So many issues for me as an Aussie player.

Look... am not going to say they are bad... but am going to recommend that Australian players avoid them like the plague!!!

Yeah as an Aussie player I have this problem too.
I *was* able to play Medusa and Medusa II slots for about 6 months and then suddenly they were blocked for my country.
Many other games are blocked as well.

Ok so am trying to figure out the difference and why I cant play some games. I can play Secret of the Stones when clicking on the link of winners... yet Foxin Wins (either games)... no....

curioser and curioser.

Why is this game not blocked? What is the decision that my country determines (according to you Adam) whether a game is blocked?

Yeah as an Aussie player I have this problem too.
I *was* able to play Medusa and Medusa II slots for about 6 months and then suddenly they were blocked for my country.

there used to be almost everything there available to aussies not the selection is less

The I'm not the only one!! Good to hear from a fellow Aussie who is having the same problem!

Sucks hey... they should make it clear to players

Waiting for Adam...

It doesnt matter of course what you say. I query everything now!! As an Australian does it mean I always had an unfair advantage?

Sucks hey... they should make it clear to players
so many places didn't block us from wms or aristocrat games online for ages all happend last year i reckon i had such a montzuma addiction
many of these blocks are server based now in the case of wms and aristocrat igt blocked us about 4 years ago
there losing so much of the aussie market it crazy they would make 100 times what they make from the kickbacks from land casinos.
Compared to 6 years ago before the first rtp drop the venues where full now there mostly empty they got greedy the government got greedy
the players lost out with bad rtp so many moved online $20 can last more than 3 minutes on 20 cent bets online

I'm not a total newb... but I do make observations... especially where my money is going. I'll win or lose ... fair and squre. To date, I didnt think my geographic location had anything to do with it!!

Onl8ne it doesn't matter in venues its much lower rtp online we are treated like other countries

Eg victoria rtp 85 per cent and online you can get 98 per cent its a big deal when it comes to a rtp scale

This is what I got from Adam..

In the Casino Lobby, blah blah blah...

Yep giving you a bad rap... so many things wrong. Was more than one thing so hence ... no choice. Am hoping others will see it too.

Please stop dandan.

It's not any casinos fault that some game providers don't allow some countries to play their games. If you look around you can't play them anywhere else either.
Compare it to people from USA who only can play at RTG's and Rival's and a few more. Never Netent or MG games and others you and I can play.

Also you're not allowed to post private pm's like you do. You don't want anyone to post your pm's so treat them the same please :)

Ok taken onboard the warning Tirlej... very politely I must say. I appreciate that. I shouldn't have posted the rep's message.

But I can't be quiet about this. It's not a matter of the game provider at all! If that were the case then ALL games provided by NetEnt would not be available to Australians either. So that arguement is mute!

And since I already posted what Adam said... if a game is not available then a popup should have displayed saying "not available to Australian players" as he suggested as happens in Netflix et el.

Sorry but my English is not good enough to explain this for you, but I'm not lying and you are wrong;)

I hope someone else can explain it for you. Just stop accusing Redbet. You will find it's the exact same at all other casinos for your country on what games you can play or not.

I hope someone does explain it for me. I think your English is good enough to understand that I am not making accusations ... I am asking questions based on what I have learned to date.
By what you say then games available to players are based on geographical location... which is what I asked before.

It can have to do with copyrights for a certain game or that the provider have some other deal with the country and so on. As I said I don't explain it well:o

Casinos would of course want you to be able to play all games so they can make more money, but they are not allowed to.
If they break the deal with the game provider they might lose them for all players and they can't risk that.

You could move to Sweden instead. I don't think we're banned from any game or any casino:D
Life isn't fair I know.

I get your points ... and you know so much about this how? Curious...

As far as I know I haven't been banned from anything... unless, it's a particular game. HHHHMMMM

And no... too cold in sweden.

Life is not fair sometimes it's true... but unless you ask questions then it's even more unfair because nothing will change

How I know? I read and follow what is written in this forum, and like you I ask questions :)

Just remember it's not just Australians. Those from Canada can't play games from some providers. They can't even use ewallets anymore.
USA are restricted almost everywhere, not just from certain games but from most casinos.
UK, Denmark, Norway, Germany and so on. You're not alone in this.

It's not just a game but all games from a certain provider like WMS. You can't play any of them. I don't know exactly what you can play or not, that you have to ask each casino. Just don't blame them because they are just following the rules.

I appreciate you telling me this... moi... but you have missed my point.

The problem my friend... is why SOME games from the SAME provider are not available when others are. Why should I be able to play one NetEnt game but not another because I live in this part of the world. I'm not blaming anyone... I'm asking questions that no one seems to be able (or willing) to answer.

Thats it... thats all I am asking. Why some and not others. I've not pointed a finger except to say that Aussies players should think twice. If that's offensive to the moderator and the casino in question then hey... so-be-it.

Probably because of copyright, as I wrote before. That is something you have to accept and nothing you can do anything about.

What games are you talking about?

why SOME games from the SAME provider are not available when others are

don't know to answer this but i noticed too. i use a free vpn that give Netherlands IP(to access sites that are banned by our regulator thru internet providers), and while i was looking for new slots to test on VS, i noticed that Barcrest category shown more games to play than when i was with ip from my location, Romania. the slots are random themed, and i'm certain that don't tie copyright problems with my location. on VJ though, some of the games i saw in VS with NL ip, i was able to see and play on VJ with RO ip. so when is not copyright related, could be that casinos choose what countries to access some games, don't know why, something related to licence i guess. while casumo, energy, mybet and possibly more excluded our country from Novomatics, Quasar and Stargames offered them, so wasn't a provider action. it was either licence limitations or they were afraid of the easterners that played Novos all their life in landbased.
you should try multiple casinos each licensed in different location, and if on all the games are blocked then is clearly copyright issue. if you try branded slots made in cooperation with Universal or so then copyright is certain. why? they don't like your money :))

why? they don't like your money :))[/QUOTE]

Apparently not! Which is ridiculous! If I went to a land-based casino and used the currency of the casino they couldn't care less where my original currency was from. Australian dollars are good just about everywhere as far as I know. I convert my money into euro to play at redbet and yet I can't play certain games because I live in Australia.

It just goes to show that online is rigged. You are penalised because of your country of origin. And yeh dandan... shutup because casinomeister might not like you bagging a casino he makes money from as a major affiliate!!

Firstly - your last comment is out of line and will/should result in a penalty.

Secondly, as Triliej has pointed out, some games from software providers' suites are blocked in certain countries. That's just the way it is and nobody except the copyright owner (or the entity making the decision) can do anything about it. This will be the case for these particular games until legislation changes or the entity makes another interpretation of the laws in that particular country.

That in itself is very rude!

It's your choice but I avoid casinos where I have to exchange my currency to another.

You're free to criticise any casino you want. There are a few exceptions:
Quote from maxd: "...if your criticism is civil, moderately well-reasoned and not an unrelenting crusade then chances are you'll be thanked for your contribution." :)
