Big mistake putting jackpots on Red Tiger Games , well at least at VS where the rtps have been screwed down.
Used to play RT,s a lot but hardly bother now as 1% of the already crappy rtp is dedicated to the Jackpots
The problem is that once the hourly jackpot ( probably the only one you have any chance of winning) has dropped, you are just contributing 1% with no chance of a return until the next hourly jackpot starts so I just stop playing when it is won.
Really spoils the play experience, having to play at certain times and stopping at a random point when it says "has been won"
Sorry If its a bit garbled but hope you get what I mean.

I have no clue what the chances are of hitting a JP on Red Tiger games and if a higher stake would give you a better chance of triggering the JP feature.
All I know it is hard to trigger the JP feature on any game that has a JP attached to it.

As far as I can remember I have triggered 5 JP features in all the years I play online.

3x on The Dark Knight which has been discontinued (Microgaming) - 2x Mini and 1x Minor.
1x on Hen House (RTG) - Minor JP
1x on Age of Gods furious 4 (Playtech) - Power (Equals Mini)

As said this is in all the years I play online, never triggered a JP on any Red Tiger game and I did my fair share of spins on those too.

They are just super rare, even if most of the times you win the lowest tier prize.

There are 21 casinos participating in the jackpots so all being equal, which it wont be,each casino
should win around 1 hourly jackpot a day on average.
Think it says that the higher you stake the greater the chance of winning one but the chance
of being successful is so small its pointless trying to chase one, if it happens it happens

The annoying thing for me is that you have to read the info pages to see how you can win the jackpots. At least put '3 Jackpot symbols in view triggers jackpot feature!' in the panel where the pot values are ffs. You see the Jackpot symbols land from time to time but you don't know how many you need or how you win one jackpot over another. People can't be arsed to sift through a page of text to find this out. Doesn't affect me personally because I think Red Tiger games are shit and therefore never play them, but those of us who are unfortunate enough to like Red Tiger games need this information to be more accessible.

Do they reduce the RTP like progressives do? I dont usually bother with jackpot games because i heard the base game chances suffer to allow for the jackpot payout to whoever gets it

Yup. Depending on what jackpots they run, about 0.5-1% of the rtp is dedicated to the jackpots.

Jackpot? It's an event for me if I hit a feature. 300+ Spins of Mega Thieving Pyramid and not even a free spin. Plenty of teasers though. God knows what determines if those free spin symbols stick or not, but I never hit anything more than a 3 row premium symbol, and a few complete rows of nothings. Games like that make me feel like I've been scammed.
