Hello.

I want to join a casino tonight, play some games, have a few beers (a wee Saturday night in to myself). I don't know where to turn, so any recommendations?
I'm already a member of most of the major casinos so I'm looking for something new. I know there is an accredited section, but there are so many I was hoping I could get a recommendation from you guys, perhaps from personal experience. I really prefer Microgaming and/or NetEnt casinos, and would be hard pressed to join a Play Tech or Real Time Gaming casino.

I'm hoping for a casino that could offer me a 100% first deposit match bonus, up to £200 so I have plenty of play time tonight... Any thoughts? :D

Rikki.

Yeah, if you can access it, I'd go for Jackpot Party, you've listed your location as NI so I guess you're allowed.

Failing that, I highly reccomend Redbet (not sure if the offer they had in the Casinomeister specials forum is still running), or NordicBet for NetEnt, and for MG, I'd only really go with 32Red/Dash/Nedplay (I think thats the 3 in the group!).

EDIT: Yup, the offer for Redbet is still running, and WELL worth it:

I signed up to RedBet, deposied €200 Euro and received €200 bonus giving me (obviously) €400. An hour later it's down to €200, can't get anything anywhere lately :(
Taking a wee break while I feed myself, then I'll crack open a Guinness and crack on with it.

What slots are you playing? And at what stake?

Netent's slots are a funny bunch in some ways. Solid RTPs but they sometimes have a weird sort of 'drain' ability whilst never threatening to pay out big.

I'm a big advocate of going into multi-slot mode, and having four running at once at modest stakes.

Tried Excalibur at €1 spins (absolutely dead), Dead or Alive at €0.90 spins, Reel Steal also at €0.90 (utterly pointless), Jack Hammer 2 at €1 and Piggy Riches at €1.50

Only Dead or Alive gave me a bonus game and a few average wins (like €15), but still took €70 off me quite quickly. The others were all just spinning out crap.

Dead or Alive and Reel Steal are the notorious high variance Netent slots, very dangerous!

Piggy Riches is a medium-high affair.

Excalibur I have no real experience of, and Jack Hammer 2 is one of Netent's weird efforts I've never been able to work out.

You certainly shouldn't be playing the likes of Piggy Riches at €1.50 per spin if you're after playtime and/or meeting a WR, from a bankroll of €400.

Try some of their tamer slots such as Beach or Starburst, maybe Wild Rockets or Evolution.

What exactly is meant by high variance? I understand the word, but how does it apply to slots?

The trend kept continuing - left every game with less than I started on it. So went to Excalibur again with €100 left and in a moment of madness played it at €2 a spin...
Got 3 scatters after 41 spins (balance was at €101), and won €218. The very next spin was another €100. I'm now back where I started

Generally speaking:
Low Variance = You get lots of small wins but are unlikely to get many really big wins. On some low variance slots the maximum win is very low (<x500)
High Variance = You don't get many wins, but you have a chance of hitting a monster.

Normally low variance will give you much longer play-time than high - unless it's your lucky day! ;)

On NetEnt you should also give Jack & the Beanstalk a go; this is medium variance - you normally get a lot of play-time, and the gradually building free-spin feature has the potential to pay a very large amount

I dont want to put any link due to the rules here, but if you search little bit you can find 300% SUB on many netent casinos (safe casino) usually with 30X WR. those freespins people talk is not worth so much, 50X 0.20 = 10$€.

in good old days where netent was only for scandinavia, freespins was always at least on 1€-2€, seems they got more greedy as they have alot of players now days they dont need to be attractive anymore, just "freespins".

Yeah, I agree. Jack and the Beanstalk is a good alternative. Good looking game with a bunch of cool features. Always exciting when those expanding wilds are starting to pop up during free spins. But this game can also be a bit brutal at times, but will usually give you decent play time.

Redbet has been very solid with me, and newly accredited. Since you've been around for a bit, I must assume you already belong to 32Red.

10Bet i've not cashed out with, but they have a CM offer and games I'm not offered elsewhere.

I can't play JackpotParty, but I read CM, and they do seem reliable.

There are a lot of CM accredited casinos offer 100% or more, check lots of the bunch. Just be prepared for lots of ID requests, and you are good to go.

IMO when you have all the new scans of the latest utility bill, it's a good time to check out new venues.

At NetEnt I really only play Reel Steal and Dead or Alive. I'm a sucker for punishment.

I never ever manage to trigger the bonus on Jack - I think the game hates me!

I'm having an absolute blast on RedBet casino. I actually lost that €400 (deposit + bonus) quite quickly yesterday, but today I have multiplied a new deposit x3 and having a really good game.
I just want reassured RedBet are totally on the level as I've never heard of them until I joined this forum :)
Have no intention of making a withdrawal right away but I hope there'll be no fuss if/when I do...

You'll need the usual ID stuff. I think you can do it before a cashout to be verified.

You also have to transfer your funds back to the Boss Poker/Sports main account in order to withdraw.

If you withdraw back to a credit card, there's an unusual extra step of responding to a message, just so you are aware of it.

Payments are really fast after you are verified (within hours sometimes minutes). They have a gap in the middle of the night when they don't process.

I've withdrawn over 3000euro during the past 2 months (1000euro last week) and I've never been asked to produce ID etc, guess I've been lucky.

When playing on redbet I play the following games, normally last me a couple of hours and withdraw 80% of the time. Absolutely love this casino, great games and fast withdrawals.

Jack and the beanstalk - 20c a spin - Biggest win €280
Dead or ALive - 36c a spin - Biggest win €1068
Wildrockets - 50c a spin - Biggest win €670
Blood suckers or Starbust - 50c a spin - Good for wagering requirements.
