Random Jackpot question

Hi there!
I read in another thread somewhere (lost it ofcourse) that you can not win a random jackpot while playing with a deposit bonus? Is this true?
(Talking about RTG)

It depends on the casino and the bonus. Any of the good RTG's I don't believe have a max cashout on deposit bonuses....although I "think" that ClubWorld's first deposit bonus used to have a max cashout of 3K or something like that. But any of the good ones it shouldn't be a problem. Most all RTG's do have a max cashout rule on no deposit bonuses though ie. 10X the amount of the bonus. I'm always terrified that one day I'll finally hit a random jackpot, and it will be on a $10 or $15 manager bonus at Inetbet...lol. About my luck.

No matter which casino, it's always important to read the coupons before claiming, and if in doubt, double check with support...in writing.

Just make sure of the "max cashout" on the bonus that you use. The RJ I hit a few weeks ago at Jackpot Capital was done with a 100% bonus:thumbsup: No fuss, no muss, finished the playthrough and cashed it out:D:D

Hi,

This sounds about right, they're hardly going to give you money to place on a bet where they have to actually payout a considerable amount!!!

always read and fully understand T&C's

I have heard some reasoning behind these rules. If casinos often give large bonuses, then the RJ pools can be built up on a lot of bonus money, and max cashout restrictions help balance the books by offering an incentive to play WITHOUT a bonus in order to chase down a big RJ.

Since bonuses are a big part of many RTG operations, a practical approach is to know your max cashout, and ONLY play Real Series slots whose RJ is below, or close to, your cashout limit. Doing this will avoid disappointment should you manage to hit the RJ with a max cashout bonus.
Often, the absolute value of a max cashout is related to the size of your bonus, which is related to the size of your deposit. In such cases, if you want to go for RJ's, deposit enough to give a large enough max cashout.

It is a bit unfair though, since the RJ is pure luck, and can hit at the wrong time for a player. Many MGS casinos do not have such restrictions, although those that do will probably STILL pay out in full, since the restriction may only be in the weighting of WR.
