I just had a little chat with the chat support at Ramses Gold Casino. Ramses Gold was pegged as being part of the toxic brood of crap casinos under the Affpower wing. It's connected by a shared license.

Anyway, we have a PAB for these guys, and the operator came back to us stating that he was going to deal with the PAB, but he saw that his casino was being listed as an Affpower clip shot joint, and he was adamant that his casino has nothing to do with them. He didn't want to deal with someone so biased. Fair enough, I know that casino ownership can be convoluted at times when people are playing shell games, so I decided to just check the casino out for myself.

I switched my IP to a UK IP address, and checked out their site. There is no UKGC logo or licensing information - fine, I'll ask about it. So I went to their live support:

Please wait for a site operator to respond...

Operator Neil has joined the chat.

Visitor: Do you take players from the UK?
Neil: yes
Visitor: I can't find the UKGC logo on your site.
Neil: look at the front page
Visitor: I still don't see it.
Neil: or ask the support@ramsesgold.com if you have more questions
Visitor: Master License No. 1668/JAZ, granted by the Government of Curaçao is all I see.
Aren't you support?
Neil: no live tchat
Visitor: Live chat support right?
Neil: support at the adress support@ramsesgold.com
live chat
Visitor: Isn't live chat supposed to function as live support?
Can you ask your supervisor where the UKGC logo is?
Neil: no ask him at support@ramsesgold.com
he will reply
Visitor: It says at the top - "Ramses Gold Support"
Neil: yes cool
Visitor: Not cool.
Neil: suuport@ramsesgold.com thanks
Visitor: I should not have to bother emailing someone to get a simple question answered.
You said the logo was on the front page.
I don't see it.
So you tell me to email someone?
Neil: yes
support@ramsesgold.com
thanks
Visitor: Then what is your function?
Neil: agent tchatter and i wish you a very very good day
Visitor: But you are supposed to be support.
I don't need to "tchat". I need live support.
Neil: so you have to write at support@ramsesgold.com
Visitor: Yeah, wow. So helpful....not.
Cheers!
Neil: :)

At least the guy was friendly. :p

But these guys are not recommended. They sould have at least redirected me to a UKGC licensed brand instead of giving me a runaround. Seems quite dodgy to me.

I can confirm this casino ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT have a UKGC license and therefore are NOT qualified to take deposits from UK players, nor anywhere else in Europe as they don't have a MGA one either.

AVOID!

Welcome to the real world of live help :D

I know he was beating around the bush and knew dam well they did not have a licence but believe it or not this is what alot of so called help is like at a good 90% of good sites.

But at least they pretend to know something, this geza you spoke to didn't even know what he was doing there

In fairness betat, trada and rizk are good.
I've also had the odd caddell agent who knows his stuff.
But in a whole mate your right, they are clueless, only a matter of time till there all shipped off to Bombay and we have those all so lovely and knowledgeable Indian call centres.

Beggars believe but Ladbrooks did  a few years back I rang them up and took near on half hour just to get my username right, I gave up in the end, It was funny but at the same time I could not belive what was going on.

A top class casino that went to the pits, they have got better and seem to of sorted out what they done wrong but lost me as a plyer

The big hitters such as ladbrokes, coral and William hill etc always been fair with me.
Massive deposits and withdrawals in the thousands, always paid on time and no kyc required. Granted that's when I bet on horses, I rarerly play slots there, as I find the bonus and rewards poo.
But with coral connect card and other ways to actually physically collect winnings if these casinos upped there providers and there slot game I'd honestly see no reason to play anywhere else.

Just to add to this thread, I've likely had extended discussions with the same individual as CM in this instance who is adamant that there is no association between them and GameTech and after a while where they were at least reviewing complaints that came to us has given a response that mirrors that which CM has received.

I do want to emphasise here that the connections between Ramses Gold extend far beyond the license. They do share a license with the GameTech group but they also have identical website designs and use word for word the same terms and conditions as this group. Claiming there is no relationship between these parties is farcical at best. They've also appear to have enforced the same term that was detailed here - https://www.casinomeister.com/forum...ms-unfairly-confiscating-player-balances.html - as problematic.

Don't put energy in this casino, because it's scam.
People aren't getting payed and they have a affiliate manager with the name Vincent Brown who is connecting you to bring players, but the thing is that the affiliates are never get payed.

Don't tell me, Wolf Affiliates or Affpower? And sorry if you've promoted them and not been paid - actually no I'm not sorry at all because it's every decent affiliate's job to do their homework before promoting a load of c*nts like this lot so anybody promoting this filth deserves everything they get :D as the casinos rip players off, so nice to see the miscreants who send them their unfortunate players get scammed too. :D:D

Get in bed with dogs mate, you'll soon have fleas.

You or anybody else who comes on to CM moaning they have been scammed by a scam casino group's affiliate programme will get about as much sympathy as a suicide bomber.

I hope people promoting these criminals NEVER SEE A CENT of their disgusting 'earnings'. :p

I think the German word, now in the UK dictionary is 'schadenfreude'.

Speak for yourself. We think outing cheating affiliate programmes is perfectly legitimate and anyone is welcome to do so. Public exposure is a very worthwhile exercise.

If someone does post thusly perhaps they shouldn't be looking for much sympathy from dunover but that's his take on things, not ours. (no offence intended)

Sorry Max, a bit strong and I should make the above clearer - I'm not referring to people like Dave, Myself and CM etc. who were promoting Club World and other hitherto decent casinos/programmes BEFORE they turned bad and subsequently got screwed over, but those whom get approached by and promote programmes/casinos that are rogue from day 1 and always have been, or sites that there is plenty of indication when you search on Google that will demonstrate you should stay away from (if you have any scruples).

I am no expert compared to many on here but one thing I do is always endeavour to exercise due diligence via research and info from other members before opting to promote a site. Even then it's possible to find a bad apple, but far less likely.

I still maintain though that if you are aware of a group's bad reputation and promote regardless, then as Bryan has warned in many of his videos you are just as likely to be done over by the affiliate programme as the players are by the casino so should keep clear.

I just felt a little peed-off that someone has actively promoted (judging by the poster's inference) such a craphouse as Ramsesgold and then complains, when me and others on here actively investigate and join these casinos to expose them, i.e. taking UK players without UKGC etc. :)
