quicktender.usemywallet

In light of these events, I had one last hoorah at Jackpot Capital, had a jolly old time (which, of course, includes losing), then decided to close my QT account.

The stuff is just too fishy for my tastes, and I'll gladly take the advice from people who have been around the online casino world a lot longer than I.
Just another excuse to go to the B&M 90 minutes away ;)

HOUSTON I THINK WE HAVE A PROBLEM (lol)

The credit card option comes back on at 6:00pm CST.
all day long my credit card gets declined, then at 6:00pm CST The card works. but now at 6:00am CST, the cards are declined again.

Question...

I don't have a credit card, so I am wondering...
If you have multiple declines for a "purchase" by your credit card, doesn't it time out on you? Meaning, after so many tries using the card, doesn't it lock you out of your account? Then you have to go to support for that card to have it unlocked after you explain why you had so many "hits" on it within a certain period of time?

Not sure if this is an acccurate answer but I suspect that the card never gets processed to begin with implying that QT is offline when attempting a purchase. I have never had an issue with my registerd cards being tied up or funds placed on hold for unsuccessful purchases. Sometimes it will be rejected (when QT is online, that is ;)), I will wait the 3 mins. required, try again, then the purchase will go through. It's hit or miss. Right now lots of miss.

The above chat session was posted the first day that qt started having problems. Before they started the 6pm thing. I too have closed my qt acct. Don't have a good feeling and I'll wait until after the first of the year to see what happens in regards to online gaming and cc transactions.

Now to to keep me happy I've been playing penny auctions. LOL Have to get my fix somehow. Doing pretty good up a couple of cameras 2 tv's 1000 in gift cards 3 ipod touches alarm clocks to go with 2 dvd players video camera and the list goes on. So at least I'm getting something for my money and my kids are gonna have a great xmas (not like I don't spoil them already). Going to outback tonight and using gift card....

I , too am playing the pennny auctions. Won lots of gift cards. Outbacks is the best! Got me lots of those and Walmart and etc etc...paying about a 1/3 of the actual costs this way! The best deal I got was for 2 $50 gift cards at outback for $12 each...loved it!

As you said, we all gotta get our fix one way or another and my hubby likes to eat so...perfect match!

I closed qt acct because I don't feel very comfortable with them right now. I don't like the thought of secondary processors running my cc info. So I rather be safe then sorry. Also if visa is marking transactions I don't want to get hung with master cards. Just me being weird. I'm gonna wait until first of year and see whats up and go from there. Who knows maybe someone will figure out a reliable way for USA to actually pay and get paid. A fair way were we are not paying hundreds in fee's.

Looking at different deposit options and can someone in Europe explain Ukash to me. I found a online trading website that i can buy Ukash at and wondering what casinos take it. Is it something you need a acct for or is it like a gift certificate that anyone can use?

Yes, they are like gift certificates or vouchers. I don't know if they are supposed to be sold online. They can only be bought at 7 Eleven here.
Be careful, only buy from someone you trust!

Edit: And make sure what they're selling is the 18+ voucher. You won't be able to deposit at casinos if you get the "Age restricted voucher".

Pretty smart thinking I bet.

Well learning about them what casinos take ukash?

This one site Ive been reading into looks legit - still reading tho and looking to see if anymore info on them if so I may have solved our depositing problem.

Just to be clear :) I thought you waiting till the first of the year is a smart idea but as far as deposit options go, at the present time, I'll stick with QT.

Ukash works alright if you have a cheap way to buy them, but with the current methods available. Ukash seems kind of steeply priced.
Just because the most direct method recently got torn out. So now it's like jumping through hoops just to get a voucher.
Same goes with the paysafecard option. I know there available here in the US, but I'm going to guess they won't work in casinos.
I mean if you don't mind paying an extra $3 to $4 per $10 you get for a Ukash voucher. Be my guest, but keep in mind. You'll want to redeem the voucher right away at the nearest online casino you have. Just so that way they don't accidently use it themselves.

I'm pretty sure this is not allowed, and if UKash find out they may cancel the voucher. There is also the risk that the codes being sold are bogus, or have been used already.

The vouchers were designed to be bought in shops for cash, and work like phone top-up cards, where you enter a long number in order to redeem the value of the voucher.

I have tried UKash at casinos, and from the UK it works fine. There are NO fees either, £10 buys a £10 voucher. Getting hit for $3 per $10 voucher looks like several "middlemen" are involved, each taking a cut.

They started out having NO way to buy the vouchers online, but I believe this changed to allowing purchase with a debit card.

UKash is almost untraceable, you hand over cash in a shop for a code, and if you get past the shopkeeper, you are "good to go".

UKash will know who is accepting the voucher, but may NOT know who has redeemed it, thus a casino that accepts UKash may be able to accept it even from the US simply by bending the rules - something they have clearly been prepared to do.

The real problem is getting hold of Ukash from the USA. The US government may not like UKash because it is so hard to track who is moving the money around.

Ukash is also limited to relatively small denominations, since it was originally designed so that people without bank accounts could use the internet for shopping.

i got a email from english harbor and i noticed they list a pre paid gift card called quick cash as a payment option. i didnt see a visa or mastercard logo on it so im not familiar with it, maybe its something new. dont even know where to purchase one at . but im sure it can be looked up on google. has any one else used this method

Well I do know of a reputable web site that sells them, and I've gotten several of them from there. Just like I pointed out in my previous post. I just don't care for paying money to load my prepaid card ($2.95) then pay another fee $3 just to get $13.36. I mean that's $6 just for $13 worth of online play. That seems really expensive. Hence why I dodged out finally on online play. Just the fees to circumvent the system are getting really steep and everyone is profiting from the US because of it. Just doesn't seem right now does it? But I spose its the risk we take by being a US player wanting to play online.
Ukash for the most part I've also noticed is getting harder to get online, just because I think the guys have realized theres not a lot of profit in them. Unless if there buying in bulk, but then one would have to wonder what shop keeper or terminal is allowing them to buy them enough in bulk.
Enough rambling and derailing I spose.

I keep getting denied at QT..It seems it is only available around 7 pm. It is up and running now, but it keeps denying my request..Of course there is no live chat available to help...And to top it off, my visa is getting denied at the casinos...whats a gambler to do????

The problem HAS been the visa processor. Just like Mastercard shut it all down to anything gambling related or that they think is gambling related!
Visa shut down all processors to outside the USA. I was trying to pay my webhosting and had to call my card and bitch because it would not go through. I then called Visa Corporate office and spoke to the public relations rep. She verified that Visa has limited all out of country activity but did tell me a slight tip! between 7pm central and 10 pm central the lines are opened for "Business" transactions. I was able to obtain this info because i own 2 licensed businesses!

The casino deposits work fine with any and all my cards between those hours!!

Has anyone experienced this QT funding problem?

If I try and fund QT with my Greendot Visa debit lately, it always gets declined. When I am logged into a casino and go to UseMyWallet as a deposit option, then log in to QT, when I choose the amount and choose the add funds option, the deposit goes thru fine. I think they are trying to keep the money from sitting on the books for USA customers.

I'm pretty sure you're fine. The reason Bryan made this forum was to keep the public (and government) eye out of online gambling in the USA. Discussing how most Americans are using QuickTender between 7 and 10 EST to deposit in a public forum, however, would be unwise.

If I am ever "not fine" I hope someone tells me quickly. I don't want to breach protocols & netiquette, each group has its own rules and sometimes it gets muddy.

Thanks,

Diane

Do you honestly believe the US government isn't having officials pose as players on forums of this type to figure out how players are still able to gamble after the UIGEA took effect?

As much as I'd like to think otherwise, you're probably right. I just gotta keep on with my fantasy that the government doesn't care. ;)

Pretty sad when we actually have to consider whether or not our own government is spying on us (and being paid to do it with tax dollars), especially over something as trivial as paying a few dollars to watch some pretty reels spin a couple of times.

But it's money the government doesn't have any control over....yet. And big brother DOES care, that's why it is becoming more and more difficult to find ways to play...
