Hi, just a quick one.. if im excluded at an obline bookmakers that also has a high street shop.

Would I also be excluded from the shop.

Or would it need two separate exclusions

Thanks

It shouldnt make any difference unless you have to sign for anything. Do you still collect winnings and pay your stake in cash? If so then totally different.
I haven't actually won anything yet, but I have a football bet that looks real good for 8k with 1 game to go.

I used debit card to deposit onto the betting terminal. (Wasn't thinking) cash would of relieved all doubts.

However would this be an issue do you think?

What is your exclusion? Self Exclusion from all products? The casino only? Sports betting?

No mate, online self exclusions do not include the high st equivalent of the same company. So if u self exclude from betfred.com you can still gamble in their shops, if u self exclude from their shops via moses then you can still use betfred.com.

Also, unless a member of staff remembers that you used a debit card to make the deposit onto the terminal then you could choose to be paid in cash if u prefer, as the payout is over £5,000 though you may have to show i.d such as passport, drivers licence or the equivalent i.d card, depending on which firm you used.

Some 10 years ago, i used to play at William Hill online. Back then, they didn't do same-day payouts to debit cards. So in case of a win, i would print out a withdrawal confirmation and take it to a local Willy's shop to get cash. Sometimes they asked for ID when cashing £200-300, and other times they didn't, even £1-2K. It usually depended on the cashier.

It would be good to know the context of your question.

If you are genuinely looking to restrict your gambling, lots of respect for you recognising this. I fully recommend you exclude both online and in all of your local establishments. Note that betblocker is probably the best tool online followed by Gamstop, both free.

If you’re asking because you want to play offline when you’ve excluded online, please reconsider. If you have taken steps to protect yourself, you need to stay strong. Talk to family or if not, friends, and ask them to help you change your habit. I can also advise on some professional establishments who can help if you want to send a PM.

Best of luck.

I remember that, the quickcash vouchers? Always started with the numbers 633658, good days, they weren't worrying about money laundering back then haha

lol, yes, exactly those! You could buy a voucher in a shop and then top up your WH online account, all without any fees. I was using them sometime between 2006 and 2009. Cashing out was a thrilling experience for me; it felt like a REAL win seeing all the WH staff preparing cash for you...lol.

Back then, i never played online slots because they seemed odd to me, and i thought each had different rules that i needed to learn first. However, i really liked the offline Rainbow Riches with those three pots - £500 gold, silver, and bronze. From my online cash wins, i always used to put £20 on it.

Online WH was also a great casino back then. They used to give a monthly wager-free cashback and a birthday bonus, which was also wager-free. For my birthday, i usually got £100-150, and often, i would find £50-100 loyalty cash in my account. You could also exchange your comp points for cash. And if i remember correctly, there was a New Year bonus as well. Indeed, those were good times! :D

Apologies, I did put context in the my second response to this post.

And after my win not so long back I have excluded from the majority of online places and all but one brick and morter shop in my area that I like to place my sports bets at. The rest I've been excluded from a while. Kept one usable but at a distance.

I was actually asking because the one I use, I am obviously self excluded from online. And I went sure if the online exclusion would mean both.

But apparently it doesn't.

Last thing I'd want is to keep placing bets and then not be allowed to cash it out if I won lol.

But yeah I did phone couple bookmakers up and they all gave me the same response that you have to exclude from both.
Which is great because I just have the one shop I'm allowed in freely for my sports bets :)
