Question to the experienced DoA Players

I got a question in mind about DoA II and wonder about how other players are seeing this. In the past i used to play DoA I with the same "parameters" at all times which means stake between 0,45€-1,80€ and about 800-1200 spins in any session. I used to play it that way because my biggest wins never exceeded about 800 spins.

However the new DoA II seem to "work" different. I am not sure if i should use to play it by my "old standards" or if there is any way to think whats better to do in terms of spins. I know the variance is brutal and i know that it pays much more than the old one. Can anyone please enlighten me with examples or (if you won big) how long did it take to "get there"?

This information i believe is by far the most relevant for anyone as in example i mostly calculate the maximum spins vs. average session rtp. In other words, how much money would i loose on average with xxxx amount of spins/stake.

I think that DoA II is (like the old one) a slot which requires the same patience, but is it worthwhile to try it everyday?

Those extreme wins shown here and elsewhere let me think that variance must be that high, the chances to win are even smaller than with DoA I ?

Great question!

On the face of it logic would say the chances of winning would be smaller as the RTP is similar so the pot has to be filled from the base game. Am i right?

In my limited experience, I would happily wager on DOA. That is why some casinos exclude it from bonus play I assume. Not seen DOA2 on any lists myself yet.

Disclaimer: My knowledge is based on experience and a limited grasp of basic information. If you require stats, figures and more detailed reasoning please look elsewhere :)

DoA II IMO has much, MUCH higher variance, especially when choosing the High Noon FS option.

99/100 bonus will pay sweet FA but the opportunity to get rich is there on much smaller stakes than you describe.

Also the base game and other FS options are tighter to make way for the advertised 100,000x wins ;)

FWIW my 'tactic' when playing DoA II is way different to DoA original

My experience of DoA2 is the 1st few times I played it I got a few small hits but after that I generally walk away down. Because of this even though I like the game I limit my play.

I've had a few low variance bonus hits when the wilds kept coming but I never hit any more than a few p on the higher variance ones.

I guess the game needs to play like that to cover the occasional massive wins.

I will post the proper screenshots after as I am a not to good on the net.the fact being I hit the wildline 2 in 6 weeks it could be 4 weeks I will check.also it was on the same site .the first one payed 680 dollars for 9 cents.can you imagine when I cashed that out but went back to doa2 and I hit the wildline again but this was different for 9 cents it payed just under 2.5k dollars the last 3 spins were 300+ dollars. I have it recorded so if I can post it I will.small stakes and farm it that's how I get my wildlines.I put a limit on my deposit 20 or 30 dollars (888)American. This way I enjoy and not losing my shirt. Even when my balance was above 2.5k I still bet min call me tight I would say with age comes wisdom.small stake do pay15665788156551937346415.jpg1566578690474-1126215578.jpg

I like the way you approach this game. Yes seems that gambling on the "safe side" makes it more fun to enjoy the winnings.

Yes, maybe i should give it another view. The thing to my stakes is they are just "habit", nothing really cast in stones.

So thats my problem still. How long would you think could take a "grinder" session? Do you recommend something?

As i mentioned in my opening post, i am very familiar with the old DoA. This new one seems more tricky.

Overall DOA2 is not more volatile than DOA, but certain parts are - the base game (lower hit rate) and the High Noon FS. That is why you have the low-volatility Train Heist FS. The Old Saloon FS are exactly the same as on DOA.

- RTP: DOA - 96.82%, DOA2 - 96.80%
- RTP portion for FS round: DOA - 25.7%, DOA2 - 28.2% (2.5% less for the base game)
- Max Win / spin on a single pay line @ $9 bet: DOA - 3,000, DOA2 (High Noon) - 364,500 ($1,500x3x3x3x3x3)

The hyperwins on DOA2 are covered from the 2.5% extra RTP and the lower volatility Train Heist FS + you have a lower trigger rate for the FS: DOA - 1:165, DOA2 - 1:195

I think the game is well balanced and plays as expected and intended. There a probably millions and millions of spins played every day, so the rather frequently appearing hyperwins are not unusual. WE used to have days with 10 or more WLs on DOA, now you have maybe one hyperwin per week, so overall not more.

Old DoA = Head to it with the last 10.00 credits of my deposit, hoping for extending play time, change to balance build, may hit 5 scatters or a wild line (and have done so quite often :p)

New DoA II = Head to it when balance is healthy and can afford to take a loss of 10.00-20.00 - play at min bet - 0.18 only and always pick the high noon FS

Good luck

Now that makes perfectly sense to me. I have noticed over the period i play that the basegame of DOA II seems to pay somewhat lower than the old DOA. Thanks for your answer. Really good getting a better understanding on this.

Thanks a lot. :) I will give it a try for sure.

DOA 1 I'd do 9p bets at £10 balance or below

18p bets between £10 and £30

27p bets at £30 or above, up until in green pastures

With DOA II:

I simply pray

Your description seem to match some data which is posted above .....

I am not sure if i stick to the old one, but from the posts here it seems more convenient to play DoA 1.

Guess its all on how to balance out things. DOA I till now seems the better option in terms of basegame. DOA II only to go for the real big one.

I have always enjoyed to "buy" my wildlines and 5 scatters very cheap. Maybe its better to stick with the old version.

I see DOA2 like kind of a lottery game.

I never spin any of slots for more than 200-300 spins. Normally, I make between 70-100 spins to test a game and if I get nothing I go to my other favourite one.

And in case I have a "spare" £100, sometimes, I decide to go for hit or miss and buy that £100 lottery ticket at DOA2 and play at £0.9 or a bit higher.

For me, I'm amazed that Netent have the nerve to release such an appalling game on the public. It has absolutely nothing going for it at all. I've played it enough times to get an idea of what it's like, and I've rarely seen rubbish like this before (except maybe the last few games Netent have released).

I got 25 free spins yesterday at Netbet and it barely scraped above £1. Today I got 25 more and it just about reached the dizzy heights of 50p, and it's been the same every single time I've played it (usually worse, actually). It's slow, it's pointless and Netent should be ashamed of themselves for creating it. The biggest win I've ever had on it is about 40p. Seriously! Has it even got free spins?

I’m a big fan of DOA I just can’t seem to get interested in vol 2 even after hit a wild line on my second time playing it.

It’s seriously HV and most of us will loss on it but it really does have potential just look at some of the screenshots this game has produced also have a look at the casumo wins for July thread it’s No1 again.

It’s like marmite love it or hate it...

DOA2 definitely has a potential but keep in mind that according to some of the SEO tools (Ahrefs, Semrush) Casumo has around 700K unique and 1.2 mil total visitors a month. So this is an insane number of visitors in compare to a handful of those winners! Of course not everyone plays DOA but majority do.

Well, you have to play it if you want that 100 000x win :D
I probably shouldnt touch it ever again, since ive had two monsterwins on it already.
But thats also the reason i go back to it, because i know its possible.

I never deposit to only play doa2 anymore, but i still give it 100 spins every now and then, hoping to strike gold.
(insert bonanza joke here)
