Okay so I know for a fact that I should really know the answer to this question. I thought I did but then the way they word some of the T and Cs I may be wrong.

I just want to know for sure without a doubt. So here I am asking this question realizing I'm going to look dumb.

Anyways, my question is this. When a bonus offer tells you that you must wager the deposit and the bonus X amount of times before a withdrawal can be processed do they mean:

a. That you need to wager the deposit plus the bonus multiplied by X or...
b. That you need to wager the deposit and the bonus X times by placing X wagers from both the bonus portion of your balance and the real money portion

I'm pretty sure it's a. but sometimes they word it funny. Maybe they have both types?

Here are some examples of the terms from the bonuses:

The deposit and the bonus must be wagered (25) times before a cashout is permitted
The deposit and the bonus must be wagered (30) times before a cashout is permitted.

A - is right at most casinos in my experience. For example you claim a 100% bonus that has a wagering requirement of 25x. $100 your money + $100 their bonus = $200 to play with x 25 = $5,000 must be wagered before you can cash out.

Then most casinos deduct the $100 of their bonus money from the amount you can cashout.

Hope that helps,
Diane

Take a look at this one from JC then. Coupon states 60x wagering, that's all. It was a 50% bonus. I deposited $20 and got a $10 bonus. Playthrough is $900. So how are the calculations made?

$20 your money + $10 bonus = $30 x 60 = $900

Seems simple to me.

$30 x 60 = $1800 :p.

Well, I screwed that one up big time.........Duh!!!

I even looked at it several times because I knew chuchu is way more knowledgeable than ME on these things.

Sorry -- bum math, no help from Diane on this one. No clue on why its 900.

You were on the right track but since it's a 50% bonus it's only 900.00. (20 +10 = 30) xs (50%)= (15x60=900) wr.

That doesn't make sense either.
The WR is usually the Deposit + Bonus x X regardless of what % the bonus actually is.
Maybe chuchu is a VIP & only has to do half the WR of "normal" players...? :p

Usually it is bonus X 30, but:

you can find (deposit + bonus) X 30, or

bonus X 4, or

bonus X 1.... no, forget this, Vegas Joker, no more..... CR took over

or even zero wagering requirement, if you don't use the bonus money!

But you have many other things to worry about. Your country may have bigger WR, for example X50 or X100.
Different games have different contribution to the WR, from 0% to 100%.

Sometimes you lose EVERYTHING if you play the wrong game, or bet more than 5 credits, or use the double option or even the expert mode.

For example 32 Red has 6,25 max bet for the WR. If you bet more than that, any winnings will be added to the bonus balance, so practically you will never be able to cash out!

The golden rule is that Rules Change. So keep an eye on them, and contact support if you have any question.
