Thing what your bank is doing is contacting merchant payment was sent and ask their side of story. If they don't reply at all, bank might not be able to much (if not credit card but Debit or other payment method).
If they do reply that you did deposit and play in online casino, then your bank might ask you some questions about vouchers if the "merchant" happened to reply with a different story (they see what your story to bank so giving wrong information can make them to reply and defend transactions against chargeback).
Best things when making chargebacks is to be 100% honest, false statements usually only make harm. You could have said that you deposit to casino you thought is legit but not getting service you paid for. Chargebacks are used too much with untrue stories, so not all banks either have loads of sympathy if somebody claims it with false information and they find it out. It's extra work for them to process these, it often takes loads of time when they trying to get all available information from both sides etc...

See what they say first, but I reckon, you better say that you were never purchasing any gift vouchers at all!
The most important thing here is your ability to prove that the service is not as promised.
Here are a few events to consider:
1. a personal account is blocked; at the time of the transaction, a technical malfunction occurred and the money disappeared from the account;
2. at the time of making a deposit, a bonus was added to you, and now you are "forced" to make another deposit in order to meet a wagering requirement
3. withdrawal requests are repeatedly rejected; the site is closed for technical reasons / it is impossible to open the site or access your personal account;
4. you are accused of fraud, money laundering - in general, under any excuse, they block the withdrawal of funds, exposing you to blame for the situation.
5. Fake games (this one is easy provable)
I guess you are not the 1st and not the last that got scammed by these people. Any bank has a list of suspicious sites that have generated tons of complaints from their consumers, and believe me, they know that list very well!
So If your bank is already familiar with these... your deposit can get returned very soon. But keep in mind, that in different countries they treat the chargeback differently too; US, UK, Sweden, Germany etc.

Follow up with my bank , explained the transferred the payment to a gift card service.
They are in agreement and it is being treated as fraud.
The said scam casino has said there process my withdrawal “ week commencing the first”.
Like one of the guys said on here .
If and it’s a very slim if they process my winnings I’ll run like the wind and not look back.
So 1of2 things happen from here
1 they pay me and close the claim down.
2. My bank pay me and treat the site as fraud, I also report the site to several organisations that I’ve found who deal with this sort of thing.

There was no option for a swift code last time , which I emailed them to tell them at the time!
They’ve reduced the maximum withdrawal from a thousand to five hundred.
so have split my withdrawal into parts.
If I receive my money I will stand down my bank request and action Fraud.

To sign up to Gamstop you must have considered it enough to apply. Just to add, do not ever think that these people are beginners, some greenhorns putting a site together quickly. They know exactly what they do and how to scam people. Should they need to close e.g. Leomonaco because the business dries up because of too many negative stories on the net or other issues, they have already lined up other brands to start all over again within a few hours. Shady affiliates and dirty SEO tricks will get them to the front on Google within days and the party continues.
I do a lot of research on this stuff and most of it leads back to organized crime. The other day I was looking into another one of these scam casinos and one of the owners was director of over 70 companies in Cyprus alone. Didn't look into other countries because that was already enough proof where the case was heading. I often stop the digging simply because someone could find out where and who I am, it is that serious.
Every UK player wanting to stop should register with GAMSTOP and BETBLOCKER (it's free and will make you actually richer in the end) and also hand over the control of their finances to a trusted person. Talk about it, don't hide it to let it eat you from within.

Update on getting bank to chargeback on a deposit - I have been refunded the transaction I raised with the bank - in full. This is Barclays bank - so they clearly are totally unhappy with LeoMonaco and regard the transactions as fraudulent. If anybody else is concerned then follow my lead - banks seem to be receptive. Cheers guys - advice on here encouraged me to do this.

Pretty sure you can dispute regardless of the amount. What did your bank say?
Its starting to appear very rogue. Might be worth gathering some evidence of your transactions and you will probably need to prove they aren't responding to your emails.
