To be honest with you slotplayer.My vision of america is that we should always be the leader in what is best for the people.by that I mean in the past 8 years before Trump.I have seen so many changes in the American idea.

We as a people appeared to be trying to correct all of the mistakes that we have made.Too many other countries see the US as a bully by the tactic's that have been used to control our enemies.All of the middle eastern military action's whether they be alone or combined with other forces have been either over the edge or not enough.This show's a lack of central command and also political interest.

We can be the leader in many aspect's of the times.Such as medical,farming,climate control,and we have some of the finest minds in the world.These things can help and show our willingness to cooperate with other countries in the entire world's progress.These idea's are very important in today's times.

But with a man like Donald Trump in charge we have lost control of all of our important idea's and thought's.Instead we have only special interest controlling these idea's and thought's.This show's where Trump's loyalties lay.

We must progress as a country and as a people to stay viable in the world's eye's.We have lost all of what we thought was important just a few year's ago.And there has been a regression in just about all of the progress that we made before.This is due entirely to Trump and his supporter's.

This empower's group's like the Nazi's and their coalition of evil to do what we witnessed this past week-end.Whether trump support's or not does not matter when he clearly is being helped with his election by these group's.

As a vet and an American I want my country to prosper and to show that we are always concerned about all of our citizen's.White,red,black,all colors and idea's.By having this we will be more able to help the countries we wish to help.Whether that be military,human concern's is the only way to show we mean no harm only to help with the problem's that hurt many 3rd world countries.

Don't assume that Trump supporters don't (and didn't) see what you and others see. I've even posted a statement to that effect in the past. It came down to either the continuation of the Obama transformation of America or a change in course. The country choose the latter.

You said that before in your other post, the neo-nazis did not put Trump in office. They're a small insignificant group that have been around for decades, only coming to the forefront because the far left wants to remove a bunch of statues in an effort to erase/rewrite or hide from history.

However, imo it's not accurate, Trump won election because the working class in typically democratic states voted for him and not Hillary.

I don't share the progressive view, I think the left will utterly destroy this country and it will never be the same again. No way I'll let that happen. If it takes another vote for Trump so be it. The far left views America as a flawed country and only were taught about its short comings and none of it's glories.

If anything over the past 8 years things has been spiraling downwards.

The state of race relations has worsened significantly, helped by BLM and Obamas favor to this and other far-left groups.

If the current state of affairs turns around, 2016-17 will in future history books be referred to as the years media waged war on the American government and people. Hopefully we will be able to say they lost.

Okay, I understand - but I honestly don't feel it has anything to do with T. being a "guy who had the guts to say etc..." It is clear that violent actions should never be condoned from either side, but it would have been much more courageous and honest if he would have explicitly condemned this driver's actions, which resulted in one death and many injured. After all, the other actions did not have this egregious result.

Glories don't necessarily mean war. Maybe accomplishments would a better choice of words.

What about the first man on the moon, how about the first cell phone, we can thank a guy named Martin Cooper from Motorola for putting his company on the line for that, how about the first trans-Atlantic cable in Lincoln's days, what about Shockley's first transistor, we can thank him for the computer's we're using. There was no other reason why they were there.

The other side was counter-protesting against inequality and white supremacy. (and had a permit as well, contrary to what Mr. T said, lying as usual!)

Trump said clearly, there were FINE people on both sides. --> THERE ARE NO GOOD NAZIS! Nobody marching with Nazis is a "fine" person. Period!!!

In the aftermath of that interview he got a lot of pressure and bad critics after which he publicly disavowed the KKK to please the crowds. And this was just 1 or 2 days after the interview.

The protest march in Charlottesville was not organized by any organization that is trying to preserve the monuments. It was organized by Neo-Nazi and white supremacists groups. Hence, those groups where the first ones to show up fully armed with baseball bats, shields, helmets, their own gun-armed militia in battle gear etc.

And those who joined that march heard the chanting ("blood and soil", "Jews will not replace us", etc.) and saw the Swastika signs. Whoever joined then that march is complicit, plain and simple.

And last but not least, stop judging me as you don't know me at all. I grew up in Romania and after leaving it, made it my life mission to see as much of the world as possible. In the past 20 years i went to 100+ countries, repeatedly, including Iran, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Lebanon and Israel. I met people from all walks of life, from a factory worker to government ministers and most certainly do not have the mindset that you are trying to insinuate i have.
