President Trump

Well just the three and a half years to go then, barring impeachment

I think it's clear he won't make a second term, and he'll undoubtedly be marked as having been the worst ever president no doubt. He'll never get anything done in office, the media have put that one to bed.

But of course in this strange fake news/ social media driven climate I don't hold out much hope for his successor either. Just please not Hillary.

Anyone for Jimmy Carter to finish the job? :eek2:

He can actually help the media by not tweeting. It's a distraction and creates high drama.

Boy, you're like a dog with a bone.......

I come back to read this thread whenever I feel the need to be hated..(sarcasm intended)

Please start a thread about your country/president/exalted leader so I can come bash them as well!

Edit: Montreal? From a country that paid a known terrorist $8 million for his itty bitty feelings getting hurt.

Americans rarely post in this thread because, while the topic is Trump, the objective is clearly anti-American. Finding something negative to say about a world leader, namely an American President? Pfft. It's too easy. A foreign government? Cake.

In fact, making routinely negative contributions to a thread about anything is borderline lazy.
Here. Someone hold my beer. Watch how easy this is...

I heard that Australians methods at rehabilitation involve the act of bagging children with black hoods and tear gassing them.
That is, of course, when they're not in solitary confinement.

Yeah. It's that easy. (*sobbing) I could go on, but seriously... WHY?

As an American and a Casinomeister peer, I'd be more inclined to participate if any attempt were made to acknowledge positive aspects that most CERTAINLY exist. For the record, I don't support or trust threads that are either all positive or all negative in nature. I don't support or trust individuals that lack the humility and common sense necessary in making rational judgments. Maybe some day, an exchange of opinions and information.... Ha! Nevermind...

I've said the same thing somewhere in this thread. I think he gets a completely unfair drubbing from the agenda- driven media and liberal elite but really should abstain from Twitter altogether. That wrestling skit was just pure cringe :o

Poor Americans got their feelings hurt....cuz people on here don't like their president. Oh well.
But imagine that day when he announced his run for president...imagine you were Mexican. Or even Muslim. Or gay in the usa. Or even a woman. The hatred this man spewed is not something the fake media made up. So yeah you are going to get push back.

Last post. I truly hope he gets his act together.

And if he doesn't I'm sure he will blame everyone else.

Rofl seems someone got their feelings hurt but i don't think it was poor Americans. I really don't care to share my political views. I was just wondering why more Americans were not posting here. Also agreeing with a few posts that i can't thank. Any who, if it makes you feel better to keep posting about Trump and poor Americans then carry on .

If you you would have read correctly....two posts ago I said that if this thread was perceived as hatred towards the USA I would stop posting on here and clearly that's what it is being perceived as. So I will stop posting.

My feelings aren't hurt, but I'm certain my IQ level dropped a good 20 points while reading this post.
You're speaking about issues that are prevalent in EVERY. SINGLE. PLACE. on this earth.

Mexicans and Muslims and Homosexuals are not prejudice or abusive or hateful?

Trump didn't invent and he certainly doesn't own the artistic license to these character flaws.
You're getting Trump confused with all of humanity.

Still thinking Trump is going to "MAGA"?

- Drain the swamp - Trump nominated and employed over 190 ex-lobbyists, ex-bankers etc. Akin bringing a bunch of crocodiles to the swamp. Not draining it but making it much deeper instead
- Army secretary nominee - Mark Esper, defense lobbyist for Ratheon
- USDA head nominee - Sam Clovis, a Trump campaigner and non-scientist to head science at USDA :what:
- EPA head - a climate change denier

This has all signs for "MADA" --> D stands for "dumb"

- ZERO legislation signed
- talks to Putin at the G20 dinner for nearly 1 hour but not to his neighbor, Aki Abe - the wife of the Japanese prime minister, one of the biggest US allies (claims she can't speak English, firstly she perfectly does and secondly, he had a translator sitting with them)
- openly threatens DOJ and Mueller in NYT interview
- asks his legal team to investigate whether and how he can pardon his family members and himself

- Don Jr. - "I am happy to testify under oath in a public hearing" - NOT happening, agreeing to a deal to do it behind doors only after the committee threatens subpoena.

- Obamacare - Trump --> "let it fail, I can't care less and won't own it", millions of Americans without health insurance and he doesn't care!

Could go on and on but that would mean a post over a few pages.

Are Trump supporters still convinced this is a person fit to be president???

Well said

WEll said Harry
There is a wonderful documentary on Netflix about Trumps main ally, in the early days, and perhaps the man most responsible for him being President, Roger Stone.
The Doc is called "Get Me Roger Stone" and you see how he rose from being one of Nixons fix it guys to one of the shrewdest operators in Washington.
It was under his tutelage that the Lobbyist really increased their interference with government and how big money meant big access. It's worth a watch and I urge all Trump supporters to see it and have their eyes opened a little.

The comedy show is getting better by the day:

- The Mooch - no words needed but more chaos guaranteed  :D
- Kelly replaces Priebus - a retired general with no DC experience becomes Chief of Staff
- The ACA repeal and replace finally falters and Trump blames Dems. He controls the whole government and blames the opposition.
- The speech in front of the boy scouts was just atrocious, so bad that the Chief Scout issued a public apology:
"I want to extend my sincere apologies to those in our Scouting family who were offended by the political rhetoric that was inserted into the jamboree," said Chief Scout Executive Michael Surbaugh. "That was never our intent."
- In the speech on Long Island he publicly asked police to "roughen-up" prisoners. The police from there in a public statement:
The police statement in the suburb where Trump spoke added, "As a department, we do not and will not tolerate 'rough(ing)' up prisoners. The Suffolk County Police Department has strict rules and procedures relating to the handling of prisoners, and violations of those rules and procedures are treated extremely seriously."
- bans transgender people from the military "after consulting with army generals and military experts" - the biggest lie this week, he did NOT speak to any of them
- ....list by far not complete

The world is laughing and laughing! Best comedy show ever!! :D :D

Found yesterday another gem.

In a poll in "mainly Trump country" people were asked two questions:

- do you hate Obamacare? --> majority said yes
- do you like the ACA? --> majority said YES!

That says it all! :D

I have tried to stay away from this thread.Because it is so aggravated. I have seen some pretty rough statements in this thread.

But with all of that aside. I feel as an American vet and voter. That D.Trump is the sore thumb that stick's out. He is a rude,over-bearing,loud mouth fool.My feeling's about him are rooted in the fact that MY Country is suffering , because of his America First idea. The only thing first in this guy's world is him! Thanks to this guy.

The idea that he actually think's that his idea's are the best and brightest. Is a joke in itself. He is obsessed with Obama Care. He think's that he is so smart and capable. But this simple thing will be his down fall.It may not be the best But the AffordableCareAct=ACA is the best thing to come down the pike for all american's.And the idea that if he does away with it.The Obama year's will be behind him.WRONG!

I'm not posting here to get in a big debate with some of the more objective Trumper's in our group. So let us just look at the fact's,Please!

(1) He has signed out almost all of the thing's that made America the leader in the world.

(2) By pulling out of The Paris Agreement. He has crippled our scientist and our ability to try and stop Global Warming.

(3) His lack of leadership abilities is showing in full with his firing of his own people. When they do not kaotao. Sorry if spelled wrong.

(4) Now he is showing the rest of the world that the american people are foolish enough to allow him to stay in office.

(5)All of his cabinet are as big a fool's as he is. They will aid him in destroying this way of life.

(6) I fear he is not capable of dealing with International affair's.Such as the North Korean problem. The China problem,The Russian problem. War is not the way to deal with these countries. But he will start a war to get folk's to forget about the Putin connection. This is far to big for him to get hushed up.

(7) He is a rich man's fool.He is a rich man and want's only to be a very rich man with all of his friend's.At the oil ,gas, pipeline, coal companies. He care's not about whom he may hurt or starve to accomplish these thing's.
i;e Native American's,Latino's,Islamic peoples. Thanks to him We are losing our place as a world leader. And becoming a world joke.

Sorry I gotta stop.Peace Out! Out Of The Mist! shewoff

That is a mom maneuver if ever there was one.

In case you forgot:

Trust me. I'm a mom. I'm a master at this and you'll be hard pressed to slide something like this by me! lolol!

Lol. I'm staying out of this, but I think she did slide one by you  In Canada, that is our polite way of saying.............Have a nice day? Smile and wave? :p You're smart, you will figure it out.

This is a thread. It is called a thread for a reason.
Plucking my comment out from the thread and isolating it for the purpose of making a snarky remark seems a bit overboard.
The comment was made days ago and was made in good humor.
There is nothing to figure out.
I don't need your assistance. I got this.

Obama's 4th Chief of Staff Rivals Modern Record For Single Term

With the appointment of Jack Lew as White House chief of staff, President Obama today rivaled his modern day predecessors for the number of shake-ups in that post during in a single term.

Since January 2009, four close Obama aides have held the key administration position, which oversees the executive cabinet, outnumbering what many presidents have had in eight years.

Rahm Emanuel served as chief of staff through October 2010 before leaving to run for mayor of Chicago, an office he now holds. Pete Rouse then took over as acting chief of staff for three months until Bill Daley was appointed on Jan. 6, 2011.

Presidents Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan each had four chiefs of staff total over the course of their two terms, while George W. Bush had just two chiefs of staff spanning a similar eight-year period.

George H.W. Bush had three chiefs of staff in his single term. Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter and Richard Nixon each had two.

Fantastic display of "modern presidential" ..... not a single coherent sentence, any time when pressed for details the answer is: "We will see what happens".

One of the best passages was the question about his tax reform plans:

"I want to achieve growth. We're the highest-taxed nation in the world, essentially, you know, of the size. But we're the highest taxed nation in the world [note: this isn't true]. We have -- nobody knows what the number is. I mean, it used to be, when we talked during the debate, $2.5 trillion, right, when the most elegant person -- right? I call him Mr. Elegant. I mean, that was a great debate. We did such a great job..."

My 7-year old speaks more cohesively when he is presenting his school assignment.

But then Mr. Trump gets 2 SCOOPS! Spectacular! :D

Whenever I hear him speak, this always strikes me. I still can't fathom the fact that this guy is the president of the USA.

It is well known that the United States has the highest corporate income tax rate among the 35 industrialized nations of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).[1]

However, it is less well known how the United States stacks up against countries throughout the entire world. Expanding the sample of countries and tax jurisdictions to 188, the U.S.’s corporate tax rate of almost 39 percent is the third highest in the world, lower only than the United Arab Emirates’ rate of 55 percent and Puerto Rico’s rate of 39 percent.

The U.S. tax rate is 16.4 percentage points higher than the worldwide average of 22.5 percent and a little more than 9 percentage points higher than the worldwide GDP-weighted average of 29.5 percent. Over the past ten years, the average worldwide tax rate has been declining, pushing the United States farther from the norm.

"Corporate tax is imposed in the United States at the federal, most state, and some local levels on the income of entities treated for tax purposes as corporations. Federal tax rates on corporate taxable income vary from 15% to 35%. State and local taxes and rules vary by jurisdiction, though many are based on federal concepts and definitions. Taxable income may differ from book income both as to timing of income and tax deductions and as to what is taxable. Corporations are also subject to a federal Alternative Minimum Tax and alternative state taxes."

And now we know more about Corporate tax than ....
Whow knows, he could be reading this!!:D

D. Trump: "There were some very fine people in Charlottesville protesting peacefully against taking down a statue."

Really??? :what:

Make no mistake, those military looking guys are part of a white supremacists militia!!! - but hey, "VERY FINE PEOPLE" protesting peacefully.

capture 974 (1024x658).webp

Oh, nearly forgot:

--> Syria - all options are on the table
(and don't mention the Tomahawk strike as Mr. T gave the Russians 24hrs advance warning, so Syria can conveniently move everything valuable to a secure location. That strike was pure show to please Mr. T's base and voters and for Mr. T to tell everyone that has the "most amazing chocolate cake" at Mar-a-Lago)
--> Afghanistan - all option are on the table
(don't mention MOAB as that was pure show too)
--> Iran - all options are on the table
--> North Korea - all options are on the table
--> Venezuela - all options are on the table
... list by far not complete.

Question comes up: How many countries does the US want to attack and wants to start a war with??? And that as usual for no apparent reason???

Question 2 that comes up again: Does anybody still think that Mr. T is fit to be president and to have access to the codes?

What a complete mess, everybody is turning on him and for good reason, he wrote a cheque that cannot be cashed and its everybody else fault, both dems and the GOP, at least he's an equal opportunity finger pointer, my heart goes out to the good US people that take care of their families, work hard and pay their taxes.

With regards the Charlottesville unrest, it should be remembered that it takes two to tango. Whilst the far right didn't do themselves any favours, those on the left are no angels either. Whilst other presidents may have ignored that, at least Trump had the balls to indicate / say this.

Are you sure what you just said? So in your view, people marching with torches, saluting Heil Hitler, chanting death to Jews etc. deserve to be put on a comparable scale (for lack of a better word). I lost half my family during the Nazi regime and all in the name of an Aryan race! Anything and anyone trying to justify that even in the slightest is just plain ignorant.

And no, in this case it does not take two to tango. You call them the left, i see them as people defending equal rights, they did not drive a car recklessly over people and don't see any race being superior to another.

The white supremacists, neo-nazis, KKK members and all the other right lowlifes marched already on Friday evening wearing Tiki torches, chanting their slogans and doing the "hitler". Nobody clashed with them then and they were still carrying guns, baseball bats, helmets, shields and other fighting gear.

Most counter protesters, what you call the left, appeared on Saturday only and I have seen hundreds of photos taken over the day and the level of armament was much less than from those on the other side. I have seen none from the counter protesters wearing machine guns and automatic weapons!

Sorry but, I think your comment is just as bad as Mr. T trying to defend the white supremacists/ KKK / Neo-Nazis etc. in his latest press conference on Tuesday, calling them "very fine people who protested innocently".

Hold your horses Harry.... I never defended nor spoke good of the far right.

But there were two parties causing mayhem, as it always does. See it all the time here in the UK.

I doubt very much that it's actual liberals attending these rallies, more like left-wing regressive lunatics under the guise of being liberal that use violence to get their point across because they can't/ won't engage in adult discourse with people of differing opinions.

You just need to look at Antifa fascists or those that went around causing carnage and rioting when Trump got sworn in, including heckling and beating up Trump supporters, going as low as to throw acid at someone for not being of their hive mentality :what:

No one's condoning the actions of some far-right whack job moving down people in a car, but for Trump to state the obvious in that it takes both sides to initiate conflict has got the media flapping about hysterically yet again for telling the truth.

It could just as easily been the anti-racist protesters driving a car into the 'right-wing nazis' (it's all so black & white you see) and no doubt that person would have been heralded for their bravery and standing up to racist scum. From what I can tell the police on hand didn't do an awful lot to control the situation to begin with.

From what bits I've gathered, the police did nothing on the Mayors orders. Mayor is liberal and wanted to give antifa free reign. 70% of the counter-protesters were shipped in, which has been common practice in a Soros-sponsored liberal modern day.

The media is freaking out because Trump dared to go after their favored side, instead of siding with them against the right. Remember Hamburg? Looked like a warzone, barely any coverage. Same media, same issues. The left can do nothing wrong, and the President just publicly disagreed with that sentiment.

Yes. And then he plugged his winery. Always the used car salesman act. Classy.

I hope that we can all agree, that the president is not obligated to make statement about these action's that took place. But if he does choose to do so he MUST be politically CORRECT!
Trump's statement's are far more problematic than most here seem to know.It does matter that the president of this country has basically made a stand with the wrong group of idiots. This will cost him.Because here in the states if you make a stupid mistake. You may be forgiven, but your action's will not!

I feel sorry for the Trump supporter's whom are either too stupid OR too unhappy with what they think to be the abuse of the middle class working men and women.I fear for our countries ability to make sound decision's in this type of unrest.

It is as clear as the writing on the wall. Trump will support whomever or whatever he think's will keep him in office for one more moment.A fool would be too nice at this point.Being the one person responsible for the US being brought down in the eye's of the world. Of course would not be coped to by him at all.Trump is and continues to be the biggest enemy the US has.The possible harm being done will be un-repairable.

I do hope thing's will change? But I know they will not. This is the hole we have dug and we are the only ones who will be able to dig ourself's out!Peace Out! Out Of The Mist! shewoff

Are you saying Trump made a big mistake by condemning violence from both sides? Cause that's what he did.

The media is trying to push that by not supporting violence by the left he is somehow supporting violence by the right (even though he condemned both). And you are biting.

In light of the fact that it was a member of the alt right who drove his car into the crowd I can fully understand the outrage over the President's words. Surely, one does not condone any violence - whether it's from left or right wing demonstrators, but in this specific scenario and based on the words he chose to say (contrary to the White House's later statement), T. discards that this crime was indeed committed by an alt-right member.

it's pretty sad how some former racists are able to hear the danger in how Trump acts/speaks. but some of you guys just can't. guess for you it's always "liberal media, elitists, hillary clinton" blah blah.

I neither condoned or condemned Trump for his speech. I simply said that he is not doing us or himself any favor's by standing by anyone.I said it was a political misstep.
And it is.Does anyone know what a wrong speech can do to an already faultering president? There are people in the US that are opposed to these group's that are trying to say they are the "ONLY ONES"
And they are powerful enough to cause a fair amount of problem's for Mr.Trump.

I'am smart enough to see that Trump is not the cure all that some seem to think he is.And if I'am wrong I will say it.But I'm not and when it is all said and done we the people of the United States will be the ones who are judged.Because we put him in,and we did nothing when it was very apparent that a huge mistake had been made.Just wait and see.Peace Out! Out Of The Mist! shewoff

With regards the Charlottesville unrest, it should be remembered that it takes two to tango. Whilst the far right didn't do themselves any favours, those on the left are no angels either. Whilst other presidents may have ignored that, at least Trump had the balls to indicate / say this.

You do know the innocent person lost her life because of the act of terrorism?

"it takes two to tango" can apply any situation, you do know that right? You do know Israel and Western country was not fair on Muslim on some issues? What would you say if somebody came here and say "it takes two to tango" regarding to the action of terrorism from Muslim?

I remember you were really strongly against Muslim terrorism action, but if a white guy committed the act of terrorism, you say "it takes two to tango?"

Shame on you, do you know how many UK people died to protect this world from Nazi? and people are marching on the street with Nazi flags, and you come here say "it takes two to tango"?

I condemn any act of terrorism from any one, Muslim, White, Black, Asian...it doesn't matter, I surely wouldn't say it takes two to tango when one of the side is supporting Nazism.

I couldn't agree more, well said!

Out Of The Mist! shewoff

What is your vision for America?

Yes, I do know

I say Tony Blair who has blood on his hands.

I do and whilst I don't agree with these right wing groups, they do have a right to protest, peacefully. As far as I know, those right wing groups are not banned in the US.

And nowhere have I agreed with that person driving his car recklessly in a crowd nor am I fan of these right wing groups and never have said so.

This is a topic about Trump and all I said is that he had the guts to say that there were two parties doing wrong that day and from what I have seen that was the case.

Looks like bunch of Hitler soldiers got a grip on couple of birds, got off in a wrong hol many years ago and changed the blood line. !!!!!!

that's what happens when you let Trump speak whatever he wants and there's no teleprompter. Ingraham is ridiculous. Like it's media's fault that Trump decides to speak. even Trump supporters should now know what kind of man he really is
