MICROGAMING LAUNCHES IMMORTAL ROMANCE ON MOBILE AIR

ISLE OF MAN Microgaming (www.microgaming.co.uk), the world’s largest provider of online gaming software, announces the launch of the Immortal Romance video slot to its Mobile Air client. For the first time in the gaming industry, Microgaming is utilising hardware acceleration to bring significant performance improvements to graphics and usability.

Immortal Romance on Mobile Air sets a new benchmark in mobile gaming. The game optimally utilises the device’s hardware and directly targets the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) instead of relying on the main Central Processing Unit (CPU) of the device to render the game graphics. This lets Immortal Romance deliver ultra HD quality, ultra high frame rate animations and incredible playability, of a kind typically only achievable on high-end PC’s. The end result is a market-leading, superior and immersive mobile gaming experience.

Neill Whyte, Head of Product Channels at Microgaming, explains: “We have shown over the last few months that Microgaming is committed to offering the strongest mobile gaming solutions in the market. With monthly new game roll-outs in both HTML5 and Mobile Air products, we have set a benchmark for innovation and technology in the industry. That’s why we currently have more than 60 brands around the world using our mobile content, which comprises of over 80 games on all platforms including HTML5, Mobile Air and Java, compatible with over 3,000 mobile and tablet devices.”

Immortal Romance, a captivating video slot with beautiful graphics and a wicked original soundtrack, was released in December 2011. It has proven to be an extremely popular video slot within Microgaming’s portfolio of games.
