I would like to thank everyone who nominated my post for the posting award for the last cycle. Also, a HUGE thank you to Casinomeister for creating such a wonderful program with charities as the beneficiaries.

The charity I have chosen is Juvenile Diabetes in memory of our board friend, the late Lanidar. Lanidar had a severe stroke in February, and was taken from us on March 3, 2008.

Casinomeister recalls that it was Lanidar who asked him to add that charity to his list. If Lanidar were here right now, he'd be making a really large fonted thank you to Bryan also

I believe the donation in Lanidar's name will bring comfort and joy to his widow Helen, who will be celebrating her first holiday season without her beloved John. I will call her to tell her of Bryan's generosity and to wish her a Merry Christmas from all of his board friends.

Thanks again to all, and especially to Casinomeister!

That is absolutely beautiful Sassy1
And thank you for conveying Holiday wishes to Helen from all of us here at Casinomeister.
Memories of Lanidar always bring a smile to my face. He had such a way with words and a great sense of humor.

Dear Mr. Bryan Bailey:

Please accept our sincere gratitude for your generous donation of $100.00 to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Mr. John Martorello. It is truly a privilege to have your support.

As you may know, the American Diabetes Association is the nation's leading nonprofit health organization providing diabetes research, information and advocacy. Your memorial gift brings us closer to the realization of our mission: To prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. Millions of people with diabetes and their families are the true beneficiaries of your meaningful gift.

Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount of your gift. His family will be getting a card in the snail mail. Thanks Sassy!
