hi all this isn't a complaint just a thought. is it me or does anybody else notice that on pokerstars either on the ring games or tourneys a lot of times when someone has a big pair aa someone has kk , someone has qq someone has jj at the same table. is this me or am I imaging this. I have seen other players bring it up like I said just wondering. seems too me the odds of this must be pretty high. someone said the other day that it helps them get higher rakes. like I said not complaining just asking ty.

probably just imagining it, since you pick up on those ocurrences over other ones
it's just as 'miraculous' that when one player get 2H +3C that another has 7D + 8S, another 4D + 9S and the last 4C + 10H at the same time, several times.....but noone notices those patterns if it comes up a lot

playing pokerstars for about 7 years.. i have seen few over the years.. once i had this situation.. i had jj other had qq kk and aa.. one reraise comes after another.... and player stalling to think but at end we all moved all in and i hit as jj the set... that was hell of feeling of adrealine rush..

Yes it happens both online, and live. Sometimes people like to say it happens more online. Yes indeed it seems to happen more often online because your seeing a lot more hands online than live.

You cant be serious with the "rigging" things to make more of a rake. Do you know how much money they take in per hour? Obviously pstars has all their rng and security as secure as possible.

I don't feel like starting a "PokerStars is rigged debate" since I don't think it's rigged for anyone in particular. Sure, you see more hands online than live which means more bad beats, but that also means more hands should hold up on the long term.

In my opinion PokerStars, Full Tilt and Party Poker do have a flawed RNG though to increase action and make rake circulate, earning more than they normally could. I've quit online poker at these 3 major networks 2 years ago, since I felt I didn't get a fair game. More than 100K hands at each network, and on average 4K under EV at each site.

Sure the percentages even out, hands get dealt at as much as they are supposed to as you can check through Pokertracker. But what happens after the hands get dealt, flop-turn-river the strangest things happen (if you read PokerStars auditor report, then it doesn't even say they audited what happens after the flop). The underdog does get get favoured in my opinion to make them last longer.

I was no longer interested in playing this type of poker and mostly stick to live poker and sometimes to a MPN skin. All I need to do is visit the Pokerscout website and read the comments about PokerStars to prevent me from ever joining them again. 602 player reviews, score 2.1/10.

You cant be serious, a flawed rng to make more money? Ur saying that you don't want to start a pstars rigged debate, but there you go saying its rigged. So essentially your saying the RNG gets shut off and they select the cards to insure more action. Definitely conspiracy theory stuff.

So what do the Pokerscout reviews say to stop you from playing? 602 reviews, a small fraction of the members. I am assuming the same thing your complaining about. "I got a bad beat so its fixed".

It's not my intention to have a whole discussion. There are believers and non-believers, I for a fact don't believe they offer a fair game to the player. I've been playing poker for more than 10 years, and what you see online just doesn't reflect the real game by far. I'm not basing this on just speculation, I'm basing this on experience and hand history basically running approx. 12k under EV in 300K hands.

Flawed RNG to make more money? yes, what's so hard to understand about this really? ....increasing action flops...increasing the circulaton of funds would mean they would profit more than letting Sharks be Sharks and Fish be Fish.

Especially them Turbo Sit&Go's always been a joke. I've been away for a good two years, some things might have changed but I'm not really thinking of ever going back. So you don't think those 602 people are credible as players, just sore losers? We're not talking about a simple affiliate site here or a site full of shills that do every thing to promote and profit from the site.

We're talking about a simple traffic site where people can basically voice their opinions in a review. Whether it's a small fraction of the poker community or not, I add enough value to it to stay far away from that bingo site (PokerStars, Full Tilt). Nowhere else you see a Royal Flush and two Quads in texas hold'em in an hour of play. No, i'm not that simple minded... bad beats are part of the game. You can be on a downswing...having terrible bad beats in a row during multiple sessions...it happens. I can live with that, you get them in your favor as well. But things don't even out on the long term (at least not for me and many others), while it should.
