About Us
If you have a modest budget and want fun with the chance of a modest profit, Desert Treasure and A Night Out are my favourites. Older games but good fun.
If you like more risk then some of the Marvel slots like Avengers, Fantastic 4 and Hulk are excellent as is Gladiator and Atlantis Queen (same game really).
If you like high risk and don't mind losing a lot but want the chance of a whopper then Great Blue, Irish Luck, Penguin Vacation and Rome & Glory (Book Of Ra clone) are my faves.
Really useful answer. Thanks alot. I have a problem with the Marvel games, though, there is a delay after each spin. Does anybody else have that?
Yes I quite often find them unplayable because of lag.

Same here. I only play at Omni for Playtech and Marvell games are basically unplayable 90% of the time.
I gave up.
Guess its a serverissue, its well known for months now, but Playtech is a very poor company, hardly any money and they cannot possibly afford better servers.![]()
It happens at a lot of Playtechs so I agree, it must be a central issue and I am pretty sure it's network-jackpot linked. Still, it sounds like the Marvel slots won't be around for a lot longer anyway.
That is a bummer, there's so much potential in there, and a whole universe to tap. Damn Disney. At least DC recognizes the comics, movies, toys and games don't truly cater to the itty-bitties but the 15-30 crowd too.
I played quite a few recently at Bet365 and had no problems at all.Really useful answer. Thanks alot. I have a problem with the Marvel games, though, there is a delay after each spin. Does anybody else have that?

My fav has always been fruit mania progressive.
I love that I have the same chance as everyone else due to the fixed bet. Plus, I've had some very nice non-jackpot wins.
My second fav is Archer.
I get marvel slot lag too...I just don't bother with them any more.
I have horrendous lag but it only seems to be on the marvel games,,,Really useful answer. Thanks alot. I have a problem with the Marvel games, though, there is a delay after each spin. Does anybody else have that?

Since I play mainly at Playtech casinos I hope it's ok to chuck in my opinion/experience; no-one's mentioned it so far but my favourite game has always been Daredevil
It can give decent good runs and I regularly cash out from it, although when it goes bad it can go bad for weeks! I've had the Power progressive once (around £150) on 0.20 a spin (why couldn't it have been the Ultimate Power?!
) Anyway, I love the game but I do get bad lag sometimes with the reels taking around 15 seconds to stop - again this is something I find happens, and when it does it can last for days. I also assume it's a server issue but sometimes I can play at different times for days/weeks and there's no lag at all so it's kinda strange....although I also like Wild Spirit (non Marvel) - I've played it often too; if it's in the mood - feature can be hard to get but if it does trigger I've had some decent wins from it too
...had my biggest hit ever on penguin vacation of over 8000x bet on a $0.60 bet.
Now THAT is frigging amazing![]()

I prefer Marilyn Monroe to Great Blue and Penguin Vacation, just because it seems less streaky and it feels like the bonus round gets shared around more fairly, even though its variance and potentially huge payoffs are pretty much identical to Penguin Vacation. Streakiness and HV is a bad combination..!

It's just a bit hard to find in comparison to the ubiquitous Penguin Vacation.
Play it at Gala and would also play it at Betfair but I support the CM stance against Betfair.
Lower variance I like A Night Out and Halloween Fortune
Speaking of which I notice Halloween Fortune is now on FOBTs in a lot of bookies. Saw some guy bashing the screen and screaming abuse at the three witches the other day
Thanks for all your comments. Had a great time losing this bonus ;-)

The unfortunate thing about Playtech slots is that it seems like most of the high variance slots people love also have a fairly low RTP (Penguin's Vacation, Great Blue, Sultans, and all the corresponding clones are in the 94-95% range).
Then you've got options like Halloween Fortune or Wild Gambler in the 97% range, but all these seem low variance. That's fine if you like that, but I generally prefer the higher variance options.
Maybe some of those 8-way style slots buck this trend, I'm not completely sure, but they're usually pretty boring visually and in terms of gameplay.

So I only play Great Blue and Penguin Vacation, and week after week, month after month, for 1.5 years now these games are happy to take my balance and never pay anything decent, but one day, one day I'll crack one of those bastards, I swear.
Hope you get lucky!![]()
I havent been too lucky on Playtech. I might have to take your advice too lol. I've tried Great Blue to no success after I saw Jas' monster hit. Aside from Archer, it's smoked me in most games. New Marvel games pay poo, and it's that damn 40 cents or a buck (I think) with no in between and my bankroll goes fast, but I'm drawn to them for the various bonus rounds.
That reminds me - I used to really like that Ultimate Fighters game.Maybe some of those 8-way style slots buck this trend, I'm not completely sure, but they're usually pretty boring visually and in terms of gameplay.
