I made a deposit on Monday evening which went out my bank but never appeared in my Playojo account, the bank insists and have sent proof of the transaction going through, Playojo are insisting the bank have it on hold. Playojo have opened an investigation and I have closed my account (it states I can reopen in 24 hours) just wanted some advice about whether it's better to reopen while this goes on? I have been chasing this since Monday and have lost brain cells using their chat bot but have read of this being a common occurrence with Playojo so will probably keep the account closed.

This happens on occasion, basically in any Casino. Theoretically it will pop up either in your Casino or get refunded - i've had it take up to 5 days in my worst case, but it's pretty rare in itself: no need to worry yet :)

Edit: Ehm, sorry i skimmed over the post and failed to see you had closed your account...that's a bit of a panic re3action? I hope you didn't go nasty (or they did) during the chat, because you know how people are ...

But still - having it closed would probably mean they'll have to send it to your bank eventually, if it arrives in their back-end: Is that Casino licensed in your Jurisdiction?

Yeah, I had this happen to me 20 times at least when I was playing on GoldenBet. The money always came in and it didn't take anywhere near several days either, probably 12 hours max. I wouldn't close an account while there's money being disputed, but I wouldn't keep playing there either if this is how long it takes for them to resolve this sort of thing.

Yeah, in the 20+ years i've gambled online, it happened maybe 10 times in total, and only the one time i had to wait as long. It's possible but not likely :)

That said, i've been young too, and the times i had some issue which may have resulted in a not so nice chat, i noticed everything took as long as they could strecth it -whereas if you stay friendly and patient (which is definitely a challenge in some cases) it usually works in your favor :)

And it doesn't mean anything btw - you may just decide to leave a great Casino, just because something took too long in your opinion - whereas it often isn't even the Casino's fault directly (there's a ton of in between protocols in transactions, that can mess up the transaction, often forced upon the Casino due to licensing agreements, just sayin' :)
