Planet Luck 8 hour cashout wait and forced bonus

I referred my friend to Planet Luck the other day. She signed up, got a $100 sign up bonus and wanted to cashin when she had met the wagering requirements, her balance was at $103. However, the software will not let a new player cashin until 8 hours has passed from the 1st deposit. Why, I can only assume that the casino will figure that players will smoke some crack in the next 8 hours and lose whatever they wanted to cashin eairler. So she goes back into the software the next day to cashout some of her balance only to find that she received a $25 bonus because I referred her. Great, no! The software will not let her cash in the $103 until she has met the wagering requirements for the $25 bonus even though she had met the WR for the sign up bonus. Her options are to put her $103 at risk for a crappy $25 bonus or dump the $25 bonus and cashin. What a crap system, makes me never want to refer another player to Planet Luck. However, I feel that their software plays fair and their sign up bonus is also fair. Their chat function almost never works. My advice, after you finish playing, set your alarm clock to 8 hours and pray that they do not give you another bonus.

Most casinos would do anything to take you back to their games, especially if you're waiting for your payment. It happened to me once at a different casino, I don't know why I kept playing but I got lucky and ended up cashing out a little bit more than I originally requested, take that!!

It's their policy to hold your money for 8 hours after your last deposit regardless whether it's your first time or you played there many times. Only VIPs are allowed to make withdrawals earlier.
Still it's not that bad considering Playtech casinos will hold it for 4 days.
Most microgaming casinos have 24 hours waiting period.

She has a choice so what's the problem?

She has a choice, not a good/fair one. If she would have set her alarm for 8 hours she probably would have been able to cashin before they gave her the $25 bonus. I don't see why she should be punished because she did not set her alarm for 8 hours, that should not make a differance.

So just have her tell them to take the bonus back. She doesn't have to play it.

Yup! What is the big deal here? Just ask the casino to remove the $25
bonus if you don't want it! There are a lot more serious problems with
casinos. Yours is basically a non-problem and not worth the time you
used to type out the complaint in the first place! Beside 8 hrs is nothing,
a lot of casinos will make you wait 2 or more days. I would like to see
what you are going to say then! :what:

It is not a "problem" It is "dumb" If she had cashed in at 8 hours and 1 minute she would have had a $25 bonus without restrictions. But she did so the exact same bonus now requires that she put her $103 at risk. If she has to put her $103 at risk then their should be more incentive than if she did not have to, but there is not. Also, with this system, it makes one want to cashing their balance in full at 8 hours and 1 minute compared to maybe playing a little more a day or two later, tell me how that benefits the casino, they are shooting themselves in the foot.

You don't, by your own admission, know when the bonus hit the account. According to their site, they say "on sign-up, your friend will get $25 FREE plus a cool 100% Match Bonus!!!" and "Deposited after referred opens an account and makes a Real Money deposit". I suspect it may have been credited during the 8 hours but, if not, I doubt if a cash-in at 8 hours and 1 minute would have processed anyway.

All the casino is doing here is giving the bonus they said they would. I assume you got your $50 too. Guess she's thinking with friends like you, who needs enemies.

Have you/she even tried to get the bonus removed? I would like to hope they would just remove it rather than treat the initial bonus and the referral bonus as one deal and therefore not be able to be cashed out until WR's for both deals are completed.

Although when they give as an example

"You make a deposit of $100 using iGM-Pay Transfer (Extra 20% Free) and Current Player Deposit bonus code #20 (extra 20% free). A total of $100+$20+$20=$140 is deposited. Before cashing in you must wager a total of $840 since the wagering requirement for Wire Transfer is 3 times, and the sign up bonus is 4 times, the amount deposited plus the extra amount, i.e., $360 and $480 respectively" (Funny how they could have just given you one $40 bonus and then said 6X)

and

"Complimentary or bonus amounts credited by Company into your Account for promotional purposes may only be used to play in the Games and you are not entitled to cash in or withdraw such amounts without first complying with the additional terms and conditions set forth in each bonus offering"

makes me wonder.

What are the WR's for the referral anyway? - in one place it looked like 4X, in another 10X.

Is it true you can play BJ on the sign-up but not the referral?

It is 10x for the referral bonus and you cannot play BJ. Another good point. My friend only wanted to play BJ but now if she wants to play the $25 which goes along with the $103 she has she will have to play video poker or slut machines where she has a better chance of losing and does not know/want to play. She has the option of having the bonus removed, end of story. The referral bonus is credited usually 24 or more hours later, I have seen as I have referred several people, so it was probably not within 8 hours of deposit. "with friends like you, who needs enemies." Why would my friend think that, she won $3 and is having Taco Hell on me!

:D

Glad it worked out and she waited until her problem was resolved without wagering. Of course it would be even nicer if they would just let her withdraw the $103 and play with only the $25.

They need to change the terms on their referral page from 4 to 10. I hate it when casinos can't read their own website.

Hit a Royal with your $50!

I won 2K by hitting 4 dueces 2 times in 20 minutes at Ace Club which is the same software as Planet Luck. I bought a Taco Hell with the money.
