Feedback Have You Ever Been Wrongly Accused of Bonus Abuse?

So although I used to take sign-up bonuses etc. in my early days of slotting, I stopped over 5 years ago. Being tied to wagering, excessive time spent on them and wagering/game restrictions made me give them up.

There was also the horror stories and tetchiness of them, use the wrong game, wins voided (and the game NOT disabled in the casino from bonus play!).

Over-stake, wins voided (no stake limits incorporated into games to prevent this!).

Win and get excess balance voided due to conversion caps.

Win legitimately and face spurious issues withdrawing.

Win, get paid, then get bonus-banned or account arbitrarily limited or closed.

Did anyone get wrongly accused of bonus misdemeanours, or did you feel it was fair as you hadn't read terms for example?

I got bonus banned a few years ago (32Red I think). They wouldn’t tell me why but I’m not sure I ever took a bonus from them. I may have played their daily free game a few times but nothing even bordering on excessive, and certainly nothing gained from it.

I joined CM nearly 10 years ago to seek help with an issue I had with a casinos sign up bonus thats winnings where refused because of their duplicity.
They offered a sign up bonus plus about 100 free spins. I had completed the wagering with a very healthy profit but I could not withdraw until I completed the wagering on winnings from a second set of free spins that appeared. After attempting to play through the wagering on that I busted out which made me apoplectic.
My PAB went nowhere and from then on I became very careful of taking bonuses. Only trusted casinos from then on.
I think it must be 5 years since I took a bonus, preferring to be able to withdraw as and when I choose too- unless it is linked to a forum promo.

I got my account closed down by GUTS, back in the day, for bonus abuse. They alluded to some sort of syndicate iirc. The shocking thing was, I had never had a bonus offer from them. I think the only thing I ever had was 10 free spins, once!

Think they got my account mixed up or something. Also possible it was an excuse to bin me off, as I think I was about £2 up after years of playing.

Not used bonuses for years until I recently started to play at L&L brands again which I stick to the terms with. (Only did this as got fed up of dead sessions and crap battles at VS) - plus Jan added DoA 98% lol :p

Think you know my story as you had a hand in it at some point.....

Banned at Caddel, you got me reinstated for a short while, then BB'ed again, accounts are active and open but no bonuses allowed.

It was for winning and withdrawing too much, plain and simple and no other spin can be put on it.

I don't think Ive ever been accused or bonus banned due to abuse of any kind as far as deposit bonus's go or stuff like that. For some years now ive avoided any kinda bonus's that have wagering or specific rules as I always hated the thought of doing something wrong.

Closest ive come to being 'banned' from any kinda bonus or free spins or anything is , over the last 2-3 years, slowly, every site im on has eventually 'banned' me from any bonus or free spins. Most recently WH (who i know have a mixed reputation on here), i was surprised I went for so long without having things taken away - and i finally got the email/popup last week saying i wasn't allowed any gaming promotions anymore.

A couple of years ago a casino cut off all my bonuses because, according to a support agent, another player was signed up at the same address as me using the same password.

The only thing I asked them was how the fuck they could see my password in a database that should be encrypted, and then I closed my account straight away.

It was entirely possible someone at the same address was signed up to the casino as I was living in a flat at that time, or perhaps a former tenant hadn't changed their address, but it should've been impossible for them to see passwords. Also as I always use a password generator that would've been quite the feat...

I think the agent was telling me some serious bs instead of just saying it was a "business decision" or whatever they would've come up with but it left me with an uneasy feeling about the place and I probably wouldn't have played there anymore if they had cut me off. As far as I know I hadn't done anything wrong.

They've closed down since and the license was sold to another party.
