Paypal for Casinos

I would like to recommend that more casino use paypal.After my recent withdrawals I wish more casino were paypal registered.

As an e-wallet I haven't found any better.

I'm not sure but this may only relate to the .co.UK site...

The deposits and withdrawals are commission free.
Deposits from bank accounts don't leave the bank your bank account until 2 days later but you can still fund your paypal account.
They have a great security and resolution service.
Paypal can now be used at atms.

The thing I like most.They have setup up a free instant bank transfer service. Most casinos that provide paypal process there and then when you hit the withdrawal button and its in your paypal account immediately.

The last few times Ive withdrew from some casino Ive had the money from casino to bank in minutes.I withdrew £800 from paddy power and it was in my bank account within 10 minutes, even before the deposit has left my account.

I guess Paypal does vary dependant on what country your in.Although I dont know why that would be the case.

Been using this method for the past 6 months or so. Completely bypasses the 3 days it would normally take to have it sent straight to your bank from the casino itself.

Initially I think there was a £5 charge per instant transfer but they then did away with the charge (not sure why as they must lose some money from that decision). Was a pain to set up at first as it could range from 6 hours - 2 days until I saw the money in my bank account however after a few weeks it was sorted and haven't had any issues since.

That £5 instant bank transfer charge I dont know if thats the bank or not.Thats only been available at banks here in the last few years and that why all these payday loan companys have popped up everywhere as they can fund your account within 15 mins and charge you crazy %APR for the privilege.

I'd rather pull my teeth than use Paypoo for gambling. If you read their bible-like T&C's you probably wouldn't either. Their favourite trick is 'notification of limited account access' whereby on a whim for the vaguest reason they can freeze your account, and not give you your cash for 180 days. Unless you can prove yourself not guilty via their plethora of pre-scripted CS replies and statements. This will of course occur when you've just had a big win paid in, which they will deem 'suspicious' activity.

I think that freeze term is there for transfers between paypal accounts probably because of money laundering.

Each casino,bookmaker and gambling site has its own branded paypal page so they know the payments are not gonna be suspicious from these companies.

Ive never had a problem in over 500 transactions with paypal........Mostly casinos.I know its over 500 because they just gave me a 'thank you' £10 discount code to use at a selection of shops that use Paypal.

OK, if you're confident in them. A word from a casino and they can freeze your payment or refund it. Whether you authorize it or not. I'd advise Neteller.

Ever since Ebay bought out paypal years ago they have declined gaming transactions save for some odd occurrences which I am unable to figure out. If this method could be used players will jump with joy.

Paypal is good... been with them since day one.

But one funny thing is they have probably closed and opened my account 5-7 times during the years. Some day erotic is forbidden, another day gambling is not allowed, then affiliate payout is not allowed because they work in a certain market bla bla, then they say I can't buy that etc. Usually it takes a few days and a supervisor checks the account and its back to normal.

I use them sometimes with 32red and a few others. I guess they have a few more guidelines for the casinos to follow, therefore not many using them.

Yeah btw watch out for their refunding behaviour. If a casino wants to take money back after a payout its no problem for the casino... never happened to me, but thats how it works.

From my experience casinos seem to mostly restrict PayPal to UK residents.

Ever since the UK government whitelisted certain jurisdictions for gambling licenses, making online gambling fully legal in the UK, PayPal doesn't have to worry about being involved in a potential grey-area so they have no problem processing casino transactions for UK residents. But most casinos don't seem to bother making PayPal available just for their UK players, even though it's definitely popular and wanted by a lot of people. I have a list of PayPal-accepting casinos on my site for that reason.

I assume PayPal may also process transactions for casinos with residents of other countries that have laws allowing online gambling, but mostly I've just seen it for UK residents.

I have used paypal a lot for casinos and paypal dont charge fees unless you use the paypal access card.
All the casinos in the 32red group use it as well as sky vegas, paddypower, william hill, bet365 and a few others.
Never had a problem of them trying to take money back and dont think they can anyway, it would probably have to be raised as a dispute anyway, but dont really see why they should as they have paid you already by passing the checks they do.
I have had large amounts paid into paypal and not had any problem from paypal about it.
Its handy from when I sell things on ebay so I can have a gamble from profits.
Just wish jackpot party would accept it

I don't trust Paypal and certainly wouldn't trust them with a large amount of cash. Dunover is right I've had some dealings with Paypal via Ebay and seen some of their dodgy practices first hand. I'm happy with Skrill

I've never understood the advantage of or need for Skrill or Moneybookers. I always deposit with Paypal at 32Red because the process of withdrawing is significantly faster than any other method and there are no fees. Never had any problems withdrawing from Paypal.

I signed up at 3Dice and deposited using Visa, it wasn't until I wanted to withdraw that I found out that I needed one of those stupid web wallets to cash out. I didn't think it worth my while setting it up for £100 so I just spunked the lot back into 3Dice and uninstalled the software. More fool me for assuming that they'd have the same withdrawal facilities that every other casino on the net has.

Don't get me wrong here. I do have a Paypoo account, just I wouldn't risk using it on a gambling site. Let's put it this way - Skrill/Neteller are cars. They go wrong, and just won't start, a quick charge of the battery and off they go again, same as before. The car Paypal goes wrong. All the central locking locks you in. The fuel line self-cuts and the pump showers you in fuel. When you are soaked the cigarette lighter clicks itself in, heats then auto-ejects....kaboom....scream.....
