Payout of New Game?

Any tips of knowing how well new games in a casino pay out?
I tried practice play mode in 32red casino but I think the algorithms change when you play for real money
Are there any reliable sites/ blogs where I can find reviews of the latest online casino games?

Basically no.
I would love to be able to do reviews of ALL new games, but it is unbelievably time consuming... time I simply do not have.

It's a fair bet that all MG slots pay-back around the same level long-term = 94% to 96%.

IMO I think it's is extremely unlikely that MG games play looser in fun mode than real, and this would be tantamount to deception and probably a breach of licensing conditions for those MGs regulated by responsible authorities.
Certainly in all my fun-play I have never seen anything to suggest it's easier to win, but no-one can know for certain (except MG - and they ain't telling!)

I'm pretty sure Pat or Ed from 32 posted up a while ago saying that it was a significant factor in choosing MG that the 'free' play and 'real' play were the same.

Apologies if I'm mis-quoting, but I'm pretty sure it was along those lines.

Same as KK, I've never really noticed any significant difference - not that's I've really used 'free play' that much...

In terms of the new games. I didn't give them a thorough going over, but had a few spins over at 32RED last night.

Sterling Silver: Really enjoyed this. Seems like very low variance and could give you a good run for your money. The 2-10x middle reel multiplier offers some potential for some tasty screenshots. I found the feature hit slightly more regularly than most, but then again the return was average at best. Your mileage may vary.

Pedal Power: Only really got into this when my balance was depleted and didn't hit anything really - so can't comment. Multiplier free spins selector along the lines of 'Loaded' etc seems interesting.

The One With A Mining/Jewels theme: Not a fan of anything where you 'select' a substitute symbol. Whilst I'm fully aware it makes no difference whatsoever in reality which one you pick - how annoying is it when the one you didn't lines up all the way across a payline!?! Damn you slots. Damn you to hell.

I might be wrong, but for the first time in a while, these don't feel like 'clones' of other slots; not direct ones at least. They've put a bit of effort into the graphics too.

No big hits to report and a four figure finishing balance (00.00) - but some good playing time and a few half decent spins.

I have noticed that the new game newsletters I get from Grand Mondial have an estimate for the payout, usually of the form 95%-96%. It always covers a 1% range, but they DO differ between the slots, and could be a means of allocating new games into broad categories for RTP, leaving getting a feel for variance down to a bit of gameplay.

For slots, I have seen 94% - 95% and 95% - 96% for the most part.

I expect these figures come from MGS, yet most casinos trim these figures off when they make up their newsletters. This demonstrates that it is NOT the case that the figures are "unavailable", but that most MGS casinos don't want us to have them, so don't include that last line in their newsletter game descriptions.

It may be possible to get these broad RTP figures for quite a few of the newer slots, since it is clear that MGS have been pumping out these figures to casinos for quite a while.

I don't know about other software, but I "investigated" for my own satisfaction, the issue between free play and real money play.

This is what I was told:

No Download, Free Play and Real Money Play are ALL on the same server. It is all but impossible to manipulate any variances to the casino's advantage or otherwise, without corrupting the entire server.

There IS a psychological difference, which may account for the "myth" that casinos manipulate Free Play to entice players into making a deposit:

When you are playing with $10,000 in free money (or $5000, or $2000) youre likley not going to care about being conservative and in the end, Free Play will register more percieved "wins" because you are betting maybe ten times higher than you would using your own funds.

By the way, Microgaming maintains the servers at centralized locations. An indivdual casino operator is merely networked, and has no access at all.

If it's a non-slot game, it's usually practical to determine the payout with optimal strategy. For simple games, it's often trivial. For slot games, things are more complex. If the game is in the flash casino, then in many cases, you can determine the payout by looking at the reel data that is passed, using HTTPWatch or similar program. You can also see that the reels are the same in real mode and practice mode.

The payout of MG slots seems to be inversely correlated with variance. Non-progressive games tend to be in the 94.5% to 96.5% range. Progressive games are a bit lower.
