it is bad enough being spammed, but this is someone opening up an account for me!! so not only have my email been passed on (which looks to be a regular occurence nowadays judging by the amout of unsolicted casino spam) but my personal details have been passed.

I am very pissed at this! as i am now worrying what details have been stolen and passed on, eg. my banking details etc

for a rogue casino or casino employee to do this, means that not only am i open to financial fraud but anyone playing at an online casino is.

IF I were you, I would close that account immediatley and lodge a fraudulent complaint. That is really bad! What if the person who opened your account tries to deposit fraudulantly or launders money or something horrible? Get that account off your name ASAP

Yes I would be careful, this could be some kind of phishing scam. If I were you I would contact PartyCasino directly first.

Don't bother - they have less comprehension of the english vocabulary, than most company's automated voice recognition software. You'd think a simple little thing like 'I have wagered now over 4,000 towards a 50 bonus requiring only 3k wagering, but the WR isn't being reduced'...would be straightforward yes? 4 emails and a phonecall later & they still don't understand. In the meantime their clever bonus system means 850 of mine would be taken away, if I forfeit this 50.

About 6 of the last 7 sports bonuses also offered, were eventually refused to me also - either they claimed the promo was an error to have been posted, or they decided to interpret the terms in a way no reasonable person would, or I missed jumping one of the myriad of hoops, for which is no leeway...they drive me nuts. I know some of you will say 'well the lesson is, don't play with a bonus' - my response would be why should such levels of incompentency lead me to believe that everything else, non-bonus wise, is tickety-boo?

Turns out that apparently 50/50 bets in roulette do not count towards redeeming their 60x B roulette promotion bonus. Oh well, life was never meant to make much sense anyways I suppose. Is still good way of getting my roulette fix (I'm so scared of how much casinos hate this game for bonuses, I won't even play it without one normally!)- even if now I can't get half back for zero.

This is actually ILLEGAL under personal information laws, and clearly so, unlike where Email addresses and postal addresses are used for "marketing" after being bought and sold between companies.
Opening any kind of account without the permission of the person whose name it is in is FRAUD, simply, a person (or company) is using the personal details of a person to open an account in their name without permission.
A second fraud is the "fake lottery" side of this. This person seems to have won a draw they did not actually agree to take part in, which is illegal under the lotteries act, and is one of the ways "advance payment fraud" is sold to the intended victim, another being the more traditional "Nigerian scam", usually involving several million dollars needing "help" to get transferred for a 10% or so cut.

This should be investigated, and if it holds up, the casino should end up in the rogue pit UNLESS they can show that they HONESTLY believed they had the permission of the OP to enter them into the draw. This MAY be a valid claim if they can show that the OP had a relationship with their company through play at another of their sites, but even this is shaky ground.
