I did

Do you feel better or sleep better at night with the President and cabinet we have in office now, i felt safe with him(bUSH) in office after 911, then i do at this moment

.
I'm no Bush hater but i do not uphold on alot of things he did, we were safe at home while on his watch and that means alot.
As the world seems to be going to hell in a hand basket, we need to refoucus on we as a nation and whats good for the maj. of Americans not just a few with grudges or wild ass ideas, the American people will have the chance to vote and make a new change in 2010 and i sure will be voting..........will you?............laurie
Obviously, I feel better and sleep better at night for every reason from A-Z
plus all of letters of the alphabet not even discovered yet, with Bush
out and
anybody else, in. I feel that
if we were safe at all at home under Bush, then we were safe in
spite of GB being president and certainly not
because of it.
Maybe it's just me, but someone who conspired, (ever since he was first
approached to consider running for president by Cheney and Rumsfeld while still governor of TX - told him that winning a war in Iraq would be "his glorious contribution to history") to invade Iraq, a country that had done
nothing to deserve it, by making up lies about weapons of mass destruction and stooping so low as to play upon the fears instilled in the American people from 9/11 so they would go along with it, when Iraq was absolutely no threat to us, or to anybody else for that matter so that the result was the of killing hundreds of thousands of innocent people and ruining the lives of countless others and squandering the lives of thousands of men and women in our military and destroying the lives of untold thousands of U.S. military families and loved ones, at a cost fradulently inflated by the corruption of cronies via no-bid contracting, while nearly destroying everything America holds near and dear over the war in Iraq, for
nothing other than personal glorification, after totally abandoning the pursuit of the
real perpetrators of 9/11 in Afghanistan to do so and while establishing his greatness for the history books had totally ignored all of the signs of the inpending, downward, spiraling economy, (no skin off
his nose, after all! just like Katrina!) the negligence of which created the worst economic crisis since the great depression and blatantly disregarded and violated the constitution and the bill of rights in the process
and if all of the above wasn't enough,
shamed the United States, for the first time, in the eyes of the entire world, isn't the kind of president that
usually makes me feel "safe".
But can't I respect your opinions without
sharing them?
So what do you say we just talk gambling and not quibble about politics. But, in answer to your question, the short answer would have to be, "No", I can honestly say that I
wont be voting (for president) in 2010 and that it is my sincerest hope that you don't think the lessor of me for it.
