OK,

I am new to this site--at least as a registered member. Still, want to point out much outdated information. The English Harbour Group is history. I'm certain you know this.

Net Wallets & Deposit Options: Completely outdated. Netspend put the breaks on all gambling transactions many months ago and all the cards that were issued by "Metabank." The funny thing is I had never even heard of them and they sent me a card in the mail preprinted with my name that may as well have said, "This is your new option for payment in online gambling." I bit and in fact, that is what got me back into it yet again.

Apparently when the feds started looking at Netspend and a host of other prepaid cards from Metabank they got scared and pulled the plug--very rudely I might add. I actually had my account locked and engaged in a nasty conversation with one of their reps. When she asked what all "those" transactions were for, I told her she new exactly what they were for. I also told her they they solicited my business for the express purpose of gaming and she better start looking for a job because no fool in their right mind would pay Netspend fees unless they were providing a service someone else was not.

I'm certain that you also know Quicktender is history along with all the frozen assets of their patrons. E Wallet Xpress also history. MyPaylinQ is not listed at all.

I'm speaking strictly from the viewpoint of a US resident of course. I have found ONE card that I dare not even name, a prepaid card with excessive fees of course that is accepted virtually everywhere. Why won't I name it? Because that will end too.

Do you sense some frustration here????

In any event, this is the site for gaming--online or otherwise and I'm enjoying feedback and going through past threads in the forums. Still, if you want to stay on top then update the basics.

I'm guessing that relates to the Research section which I wrote a couple of years back. Needs updating to refect the myriad of processing changes for sure - I'll hold my hands up for that one and will take a look when I get back from Vegas.

Glad to be of help. About Netspend . . .

Unless something has drastically changed in the past 6 months, Netspend no longer works for US residents at most sites. Nor does any other card issued by Metabank. I detailed my experience above. There is no question that online gaming was their bread and butter. I suspect as word spread and as they openly solicited people like me with a history on someone's mailing list must have raised the eyebrows of the feds.

It is hard to find a prepaid card that will work with any consistency anywhere. I recommend asking casino reps at your favorite site still bold enough to service the US if they have any suggestions.
