Given they can't even spell Rameses correctly in the name of their casino I wouldn't be too hopeful. Is there an option to free play? Usually they don't payout correctly, slight graphical changes and such.

A convenience address at a hired mailbox it seems. Maybe necessary for taking of card/webwallet deposits. You can't play the games in free without joining, they also have Playtech games and Aristocrat.

Aleksandrs Jekabsons is listed as Director, a Latvian. Listed as an 'affiliate manager' according to LinkedIn

Affiliate Manager at getgamers.ru

The company capital value is £1 - clearly a front company.

There are HUNDREDS of other companies using this hired convenience address too.

I wouldn't go near this site.

This is something the UK authorities should be getting a grip on. They are allowing the UK company system to be misused by criminals who are trying to make their scams look legit.

Dunover gave me a heads-up about this thread - Thanks!!

I've contacted NetEnt - casino-ramses.com is a fake. They're liaising with various Cyber Crime agencies to investigate these ongoing issues.

I'm going to take a guess - given the ownership of Vulcan Partners Limited and the very similar game selection - that Casino-Ramses is connected to the same group that are running WelcomePartners.com (lots of casinos there using some version of the name 'Vulcan'). Many of the casinos in this group appear to be running fake games.

Some interesting connections though - Welcome Partners also advertise 3 Playtech casinos, Ice, Green and Max. If you look up their owners (Invicta Networks N.V.) you'll also find NeoPlay casino. NeoPlay are an interesting one - their site is a 100% clone of Winner casino. They previously listed their ownership as "Brivio Limited" while Winner listed their ownership as "Brivio ZIRCONIUM GAMING LIMITED". I think it's far from unfair to assume that NeoPlay are owned by the same group that operates Winner. NeoPlay also share ownership with 3 other Playtech casinos advertised by Welcome Partners, who are working with a large number of casinos that are highly likely engaged in the deployment of stolen games.

OK, what we DO know is that as I said they are as bent as a 9-buck banknote.
We know they've ripped-off software.
We know they (claim) to be licensed by a limp-wristed banana republic LA.

So, given that the motivation to these vermin is money, how do we deal with it?

Criminal investigations like this need specialist teams, cross-border cooperation etc. and are quite time-consuming and often ineffective. In the time lost these asswipes have made potentially millions.

So the best answer IMO is for Netent and the rest and also industry watchdogs and even you affiliates get onto the payment processors, card and webwallet/voucher companies - cut off their lifeblood i.e. MONEY!

The card companies and webwallets should cooperate as it's their reputations at stake plus of course the consumer laws in most countries which protect you against debit/credit card transactions for fake or fraudulent goods/services. When they see it's potentially THEIR money at stake they would soon ban transactions to these criminals.

The "understanding" between players and the industry that we will NOT resort to our legal rights (i.e. consumer credit laws, chargeback, etc) will mean the payment processors are unlikely to suffer any more than they do with legitimate operations. The scammers also have the ability to blacklist players who dispute transactions, just the same as legitimate operators, so even those players who realise they have been duped are strongly discouraged from hitting back. There will be no legitimate dispute channel, not even a limp one, as the sites are fake, so they will get to keep any money they make.

They will also be able to offer rogue affiliates what it takes, such as 50% commission or more, to keep the promotion of the sites going, and these affiliates will be given the green light to do anything, including spam, hacking websites, manipulating Google, etc.

It is also going to be hard even for the software providers who's products have been ripped off to do much about it. Legal action may not work against outright scammers as it might against companies just "trying it on".

Seasoned players can probably be educated about this, but newbies will be like lambs to the slaughter, and will be enough on their own for the scammers to make their fortune.

I think it will take government regulation of payment processors to make the difference. If a burden of responsibility was placed on them to thoroughly vet merchants to the same degree casinos vet players "due to anti money laundering laws" it would be far harder for the scammers to open merchant accounts with the mainstream payment processors. This will leave them with the dodgy ones, and this might make even new players wary as they would wonder why they can't simply purchase with their usual method online, but have to instead sign up for some obscure wallet or other entity that no one else seems to have heard of.
