New Slot Announcement Opal Fruits from Big Time Gaming!

As I'm the viscount of slot videos, I don't want to yoyo between threads as it's better we club together in one place, united.

19!

As for Opal fruits I'm at nearly 1700 spins at the moment since the last feature. Aside from the two features in my OP video, I have had 2.4x and 22x since. After the 22x my balance was at about 2340 (you get 2000 starting credits) and it now stands at 1569. So I've lost 771 x in those 1700 featureless spins. This can easily be as brutal as Bonanza.

Glad you’ve posted this as clearly your initial video was very fortunate albeit very entertaining as usual. 1700 spins at not much over 50% appears to be the depressing norm for slots base game these days so really doesn’t surprise me. I suspect you’ll still stick to Bonanza. Whilst the features on that are infrequent it generally still sticks to around 75-78% base game which is at least a bit more sustainable.

Another bore fest.
I won’t be bothering with such tripe. I’ll suffer in silence with bonanza, the rest are not worth a monkeys wank.

You do all know this slot is a huge dig at netent? Startburt. Opal fruits, reading the brief BTG are trying to make this the new "ten sign up spins on Opal fruits" that's what this game is about,
Oh and guess who is getting to release the game when it goes live?.

BTG nazi department of PR and associates leaves a lot to be questioned.
The main albeit strange fellow whom kisses his foot won’t say anything about BTag nor leo the responsible gambling specialists... yet many sign up to play btg and also at leo.
This parasitic ilk and it’s like want putting out to graze, they had the free gravy train.
Let them work like the rest of us decently.

Certainly, it is @colinsunderland one of my favorite video games of all time! Back in the days when the arcades were chocker block with Eachway Nudgers and Chances Unlimited! The sounds are courtesy of WMS (Williams Electronics) now owned by our distribution partner Scientific Games. There's a bunch of sounds from both Defender and Robotron 2084 that are in the game at key points, the pickup warning is on the Wilds and x3's, the Robotron level skip and extra life sounds are on the retrigger, the wild explosions are that of the Bomber (pinkish square alien) explosions, the Grapes enter on the Triple Reaction reels to the sound of the ever so tricky Baiters being blown up and there are loads more woven in. The plums, pears melons and grapes (the latter swapped as we favour purple) are a homage to Each Way Nudger...

The Robotron 2084 extra life is quite key to its gameplay, if you've played it you'll know how manic the game is and that if you blink to look at the score you'll surely die... so to rescue consecutive humans and hear that you've got an extra life is very reassuring, as is getting past the x9, x19, x29, x39, etc will most certainly feel in the game.

When Defender came to Whitby arcade back in the summer of 1981, it was like someone had opened a portal to the future! Sounds naff but I guess we're trying to do the same with Opal Fruits, whether or not we've succeeded is really down to you lot! Personally, I've played the game on test with a £10 deposit at 10p a spin and had a many of 2-3 hour sessions, no slam spins, no bullshit just good clean fun with a 96.75% RTP (that's never adjusted, just so you know). All in all, you'll get slightly more play time than a tenner on the old Each Way Nudger and £2 wins won't get paid out in tokens ;-)

We're going to have an early access competition starting next week for 10 lucky Meister Members (just awaiting sign off).

The mouth-watering, Golden Cup competition low down, 10 thread contributors will be drawn at random to battle it out Opal Fruits, the top three biggest wins will win wager free deposits. Hoping @ChopleyIOM enters so he can get a big win with demo funds rather than breaking tha bank again!

Full details of prizes and dates coming soon...

By the way, @dunover as you missed just a few and I'm not trying to swizzle you but if you're looking to play blackjack like a texan and think you need a refresher, never hit an ace, after eight! Everyone else if you're interested, caramac after the week-end for a chance to win the golden cup! As you may or may not know we play to the beat of a different drum, stick around this thread for the next few weeks to find out more...

All the best

I thought there were Robotron ones too but wasn't 100%, the defender ones I picked up on instantly though, one is from the test screen on power up isn't it? I'm guessing you are around the same age as me to have pretty much mentioned my favourite games and slots of that time. Used to be able to clock Defender back in the day :) The rechipped versions were impossible though.

I played it, alot :)

But do you get the smell of fish and chips in the background, and some miserable arcade attendant called Mary or Joan shouting 'stop banging the machines' at groups of kids all day :D

You should get onto SG gaming and see if they have an old Defender or Robotron in storage somewhere and use them as a competition prize :D

Can't say I'm a big fan of the Opal Fruits game having played the demo this morning, but see the big potential in the bonus game if the stars align.

The next release featuring the motherships looks far more interesting :D

BGT should trademark this line. It sums up EVERY single slot they have ever released and they seem to be the one game provider that gets a pass for just stating it has potential but we very rarely see it.

Even the other megaway slots produced by other game providers have tons of x1000+ wins compared to BGT games. Just look at genie jackpots.

I was thinking this last night. I think each and everyone of us has been fooled by the potential of BGT slots and been sucked in to believing the life-changing win is coming. DoA II has shaken things up so I look forward to see what other providers come up with.

At ICE I asked the NetEnt guys why they didn't adopt the Megaways licence and aside from the 'asking price' they have prooved a 9-line slot is worth it's weight in gold! I know I was critical of NetEnt last year, but bloody hell I'm so proud of what they have achieved so far this year.

Megaways is being flogged to death now, wont be long before we see Cleopatra Megaways and Rainbow Riches Megaways

Potential does nothing for my play time.
I have had approx 300,000 spins on Bonanza and have not had a single 1000x hit, these definitely feel like jackpot slots to me.

Netent doesn't do CM comps, so I like BTG better! :D:p

Seriously now, the best slots for me don't need huge real potential.
I enjoy low variance.
But huge real potential is nice for a spin or two.

This one does look nice and I am looking forward for an early try. ;)

both dont accept Canadians so comp wise here, makes no difference :p But looks like Netent may come back to the fold, so they'd get my money :D

They should just get on with it and change their company name to something more appropriate I feel.

Like CRAP Gaming

Conmen Rambling About Potential

Has a nicer ring to it don't you think?

Yep... they'd rather ramble on about the sounds and what inspired the game.

I mean almost everyone can see right through the BS they spout about their games.

When the cards are down, they would rather come on here and tell you when it's going to be released and what inspired the game.

Money inspired it... just like every other idea they had for their massive MegaNoPays brand.

I do think sounds play an important part and can't really fault them on that. Take away DHV's soundtrack usage and the likes of Holy Diver's bonus feature.....it is entertaining at least.

Much like the Defender bleeps and whatever else, so I could see the enthused reactions to it. But as for the games themselves.........

Yeah... nothing wrong with the sounds. Was just trying to put their participation into perspective.

Will give it a try when it comes out since i used to like Opal Fruits.

BTG slots have been Hit and Miss for me. I like Bonanza as it was an original idea qt the start. Chilli is my favourite and the one I regularly play. But Holy Diver etc. was total garbage.

So i will wait to see what like this one plays before passing judgement lol.

Nate is just...Nate, wouldnt want to be s software provider that pissed him off :p

I myself am a fan, and i think the Final Countdown is their best so far..as with most slots, the real excitement only establishes itself within a person once they have had a crazy win on the slot in question..because now they actually seen and felt what it can pay, and from there on out that will add a lot of anticipation.

After getting the 256x wild 3 times, every time i play that slot now i get heart palpitations each time the reels expand to just three-wide :D

I had a 1400x bet on Holy Diver when it launched, but no way did that anticipation carry over, as the game play is too long stretched if you go for the 3x round, and even then, you kind of need a retrigger, before it really gets exciting. The Final Countdown just has that huge potential in one spin in the basegame, so it can happen anytime.

Opal fruits has the same colour scheme and some apparently crazy multiplier action, and as an old school arcade and video game player as well, i too have a thing for those retro sounds:)

I am looking forward to playing this, but don't really want to 'waste my luck' on Freeplay (thats how i feel, even when it's perceived to be silly by most) unless there's something on the line, so i would love to be one of those lucky buggers entering that freeplay/testphase contest!
