So how about we have a fun thread where we can name and shame online slots that are soo bad they do not even deserve to be played!

So the rules are as follows:

Rule 1: >
Only Online slots count.
Rule 2: > Only one slot per post.
Rule 3: > Explain why the slot is soo bad in as much detail as you can.
Rule 4: > List the provider of the slot.
Rule 5: > No posts saying slots are rigged etc etc. (that goes to you goatwack :D :D)

So I will kick off with a slot from Elk slot provider. Slot name is Champions Goal.

This slot is just soo bad. Pays are really low but that is expected from ELK most of the time.
When you do trigger the freespins which can be hard to do they pay soo badly and at the end you get a chance at a jackpot if a ball drops on one of the spots.

Most of the time you do not win one, but rarely you win the lowest which pays 10X bet or the second is even rare to hit which pays 50X bet.

So yeah that is my first slot choice.

There is soo many this thread could be useful and fun at the same time. So it lets people see which slots we should avoid wasting money on lol.

Have fun :)

Ok as no one else wants to do it, I'll start with

Bo

Bo

Bon

Bo

Bona

Starburst

How people play it is beyond me. It has no free spins for god's sake. It has graphics solely meant to entice younger players. It has an unbelievable amount of dead spins and will have you sweating as your balance depletes quicker than anything, for such little reward

It'll have a star column with a stack of 7s, only to go out with a whimper. It has the very worst attributes of 'Netent Variance' where if played long enough, you'll never, ever catch up. The sounds are basic as f (in keeping with the ELC theme), and the basic game play responsible for a slew of imitators, making slot designers lazier and greedier in the process. Probably responsible for bringing slotting into the mainstream, thanks in no small part to the constant ads featuring this crap.

Space Wars. Space Wars. Though similar at least it has good graphics and some effort put into it. I'd rather lose £200 on that than play SB for more than ten spins.

SB is also responsible for every crap casino offer in the history of the industry, it's basically become a meme in itself. I pray for the day Netent wake up and throw it into Slot Hell, where it belongs

I find the game dull as dirt myself, but I think I've seen several casinos actually say it's really popular so I dont see it going away. I hear ya though - it's so bloody dull.

Eggomatic

NetEnt

Tried it a couple of times and I never, literally NEVER, witnessed a winning spin outcome.

thats actually one of the few I reallllly miss not being able to play netent.

Eggmatic can pay nice when it is in a good mood. The only thing with eggmatic is that good mood is rarer than finding £1 in a supermarket trolley :D

@goatwack - And yeah as for starburst, that can just go and get lost. I totally was going to post about that abomination but you beat me too it lol :D

Probably the worst slot ever made is Cashville from Microgaming. Imagine a slot where Wilds only work for some symbols, 5 OAKs are extremely rare and the bonuses are blah picking games. Lots of potential but you'll probably lose hundreds, if not thousands, trying for the big hit.

immortal romance by microgaming
everytime i hit max bet it busts me in minutes
i have been chasing a big win on michael
i've had like 200 michael features and only 1 win was 100x+ which was about 125x
9 out of 10 times i pick michael thinking i will finally get a 3 reel join up for the big win

this is supposed to be a "fun" thread but I am going to write something serious. Well, at least I try :)

I have been slotting everyday since 2003. What saved me is discipline. Started as a low roller, still low rolling today. Never reversing. Never gambling money that I can't afford to lose. Reading carefully the posts here.

I have played hundreds of different slots, some of them only once, some others (for istance DoA before the HTML conversion, or IR) for some thousands and thousands of spins (millions I should say).

If we consider an average of 50€/day for 14 years, I deposited a quarter of million of € in my life and I am not even able to calculate how many millions I spun in these 14 years.

Of course I had some big wins also and thanks to my discipline, I am down, but not in a dramatic way. Slotting is my hobby and I pay for it. Period.

The only game able to give me some addiction was -and still is- Bonanza. I don't know if it is in the music, or something in the reels...really I don't know. But I am 100% sure THERE IS SOMETHING ingenerating addiction.
Few weeks ago I was abroad for business reasons and I found myself in hurry to go back home...to play Bonanza. When I realized it, some alarm bells begun ringing and immediately I took some measures, blocking and limiting my gambling budget. It wasn't never ever happened in 14 years of gambling career.

Lockinlove (thanks for your frankness and honesty, LiL) was anticipating the same conclusions I am getting now (my overall spin counter on Bonanza is about 267,000 and there it stays). It's not worth such an effort. Also Nate (another CM',s BIG HERO from my point of view) was underlining some important things (thanks Nate) and I 100% agree with him.

I did read also in other members' posts, "after having played Bonanza, going back to the old games is not the same" and YES I must admit I feel the same way. And please do not think I am blaming that game since I lost a fortune on it; the funny thing is that I am more or less in par.

However, I see that also this time my post is becoming way too long. I vote Bonanza.

Ciao :)

NetEnt's Space Wars (I call it Sparse Warts)

Has anyone anywhere ever won anything on this pile of garbage???

KK
Well yes, actually :D

Couple of times of the few times I played it, one at Mr Green with something like 10 free spins, got some ungodly combination and won over £200 I believe. Granted, wagering was just short of £7000, but that's neither here nor there

Another moment was at Stan James (RIP) when they did their usual promos with new releases. Played and wagered for yonks, which led to an eventual tidy cashout.

Only reason I haven't/ don't really play it is because other games have demanded my time, and since distracted me from it. It's a good little game

I nominate Sugar and Spice Hummin - Ainsworth.

A quite ridiculous name for a slot for a start, and it has an RTP% of 94.08 which isn't exactly competitive, but that's neither here nor there.

If you load the game up, navigate to the paytable and scroll down a bit, you'll see this -

SSH 1.png

The order of symbols is jumbled up. The J symbol payouts are on the row just above with some picture symbols, and the K is on its own underneath. Doesn't look great does it? How does that get past a Test department? Anyway, scroll down a bit more and you'll see another paytable, which is for the Free Games feature. Maybe the symbols are in the right order this time?

SSH 2.png

Nah. The order has changed, but it's still wrong.

But look a bit closer and you'll see something even worse, something I have never seen in all my years of playing slots.

Have you spotted it yet?

The symbol awards in many cases are actually lower during Free Games than they are in normal play. Why would anyone design a game like that? It's as if the maths has come in at 110% and in order to lower it some lazy sod who doesn't play slots has decided to quickly reduce the award values in Free Games because it was 4:55pm on a Friday afternoon, rather than push the feature hit rate out a bit or change the reelstrips.

Worst of all is that you can see the same badly-ordered paytable layout on a few of their other slots, and also lower awards in Free Games in some cases.

What's the game actually like to play? I don't know - I haven't bothered

In the Marvel's era - Wolverine - the features, the bonus are just pathetic, i've never seen any big wins. I believe it has the lowest RTP of all Marvel progressives.

Strangely enough, this was one of the first games I thought of too, but wasn't sure if it was worth mentioning. I do remember giving this a real good go based on the fact that most other Playtech superhero games turned out to be ok. This one wasn't.

A money- muncher with a terribly boring bonus, and probably something like 90% RTP. Such a disappointment

@orion

A lot of us are addicted to Bonanza. You’re not alone. The lure of big bonuses has gotten us all, even those who call it Borenanza. This, Great Blue and Dead or Alive have gotten the most play since 2015.

@Lemon

That’s Ainsworth. They have a history of lowering values of line hits in the bonus with their slots. Random $$ Slot Channel is very critical of this use of math. On the other hand, Albert of Albert’s Slot Channel is a big fan of Ainsworth.

This thread is exactly what I wanted :)

Glad people are participating and enjoying it so far. Looking forward to see what others say.

Also you can post more than one slot, just make sure it is 1 slot per post. So feel free to post more slots you do not like to members who have already posted one :)

there is soo many bad slots. This thread will become very very loooooooong :D haha :)

EDIT: One more thing. Just make sure not to post about the same slot. So make sure to read all other posts lol. that way we wont get any duplicate entries :)

No more entries?

I will name and shame IGT's: Shes A Rich Girl.

What can I say about this slot it is pretty bad the feature although it isn't too hard to trigger when you do it pays soo badly 95% of time time. Pays in the base game are not great either.
