Online Casinos

Lasseter,s is government regulated? How many governments do you know that are honest? I did not win anything good there. I deposited over a thousand dollars, and I finally said to hell with this and cashed in two hundred fifty dollars. Took a month to get the check.

I have had similar experiences Wanda, I'll be killing the nine line playtechs with nickels, but if I up it to quarters it usually comes back to bite me. It is amazing though how much you can win on nickels with that game. Twice I hit a $100 win on one of those 9 liners playing nickels. Once was on free money, woohoo!!

Seems as it was only a glitch:

Dear Cirrus Casino player,
We had a temporary technical glitch with our website. You will be glad to know that we are back up and running. We apologize for any inconvenience and would like to make it up to you with a...

...$10 free chip!!

Just a short update, I made a $100 deposit last night at 32Red. Played "Aces 'n Faces" multi-hand VP for a while .25 max bet ($5) with a few daring $20 bets here and there. Did good a couple of times and made two $100 cashins...

Woke up this morning and they are already in my Neteller account. Can't get much faster than that.

I remember asking who plays progressive slots in one of these threads... but can't find it now.

There was a reason for my question - and it seems to me that the best people for testing may be in this thread - so if Mr. Meister doesn't mind, I would like to ask those of you participating in this thread to go test out http://www.awesomejackpots.com - all comments and suggestions welcome - but don't tell all your friends just yet :)

This reads in Rules at OnLuck, 5Roses, and many other RTG run casino's (this taken off of 5Roses site):

15. Should we suspect your play to reflect "Advantage Player Tendencies", your account may be closed and any winnings and promotional funds will be void. Advantage Playing is defined as minimum wagers to the minimum wagering requirements with a subsequent withdrawal request.

So here is the perfect safety net for stealing players deposits and winnings now.

People, kiss RTG good-bye. I did, and I was addicted to the software, believe me, it's easy to do.

Bonus Abuser, Advantage Player, why don't they just say: "Deposit your money with us, whether you win or lose, you lose, but hey, you had fun, right?"

You're right, Jinnia - it is a rip-off clause, particularly seeing as the "minimum wagers to the minimum wagering requirements with a subsequent withdrawal request." are all conditions set out by the casino for the player to comply with in order to benefit from the promo.

An analogous situation with the boot on the other foot might be where you "cancelled" an unsuccessful wager you had made as part of your side of the "gambling contract" The casino wouldn't like that at all.

If the casino offers a promo on certain conditions and you comply with them there should be no if, ands or buts - they should meet their obligation to you.

This is exactly why I need to add this group to the not recommended section. Players are stonewalled when they complain about the bonus "abuse" rules. It's not a player friendly policy since players may play to the "letter of the law" and be banned.

It's too subjective.

I played at 5 roses in Feburary. I won $25 on top of the bonus amount after i more than fulfilled the WR. I was deemed an advantage player after having to comply with all sorts of id requests. They closed my acct. and paid back my deposit and basically told me to bugger off.

Good Admin !

In my opinion, it's waaaay past due!!

I'm checking on RTG casino web page to see how many has this in their rules so far, and found this::

Privacy Statement: All email and other communication or correspondence between the Casino and member is private and not for distribution or publication on Internet forums.

Guess where I found this at? grin

sorry admin,

did I post in an area that was closed?

If you haven't heard the news, there is a big squabble about the Sunny Casino group using copyrighted text from bet2gamble.com.

Unfortunatly this had a snowball effect whereas bet2gamble's CM Booth approached John Abbott at gonegambling.com to arbitrate compensation of around $500. The Sunny group clammed up until things escalated to the point where gonegambling dumped the Sunny Group.

What a bummer for everyone involved. Bet2gamble gets jerked around, gonegambling drops a big client, and the Sunny Group looks like a bunch of arrogant dweebs. Not a good scenerio...

It is a real shame as Sunny Group has been one of the best casino groups available. Silly to let something this small blow up so much. I'm sure it will have far greater knock-on effects than Sunnny group will have expected - GG are no longer advertising, I intend to stop dealing with them at my site etc. Again - a real shame.

Ben.

Where is the not recommended section? I searched around, must have over looked it....

Simple!!! Quit using bonus money and use your own. And you don't have to worry about them regulating their terms. Jesus, You want them to give you free money and don't want them to regulate it. If you deposit a $100 and get $100 from them. Of course they are going to make you play by their rules. And not only that, your Money is also tied in with thiers. So just deposit $200 and play your favorite Casino Software and Games. Many people on here have a decent middle income life. Pay the extra $100 or whatever the amount is. And enjoy every game they have to offer under your own rules. Maybe its time for some of us bonuses hunter to come to terms with ourselves. And accept the facts that we need help and go seek treatment. Some of us are respected here. But from what I have been reading lately from some of our senior members. It looks like addiction has taken its toll. And now it maybe time to stop while you're ahead. And get a hold of your life!!!

Yeah, I was in awe after reading that whole thing, but I can't say I was totally surprised. I recently had a squabble with Sunny myself starting in May. It just finally got resolved in August. The MAIN reason for it taking so long was their complete lack of response to emails. It wasn't until I was completely irate and threatening that they finally got off their butts and resolved it. I was VERY disappointed with them and the way they mishandled the whole thing.

Something is going on there, I don't know what, but their customer service has gone way down hill over the past 3-6 months. Have they had a management change or anything??

p.s. the latest update I heard from GG was that ALOT of their members are closing their accounts at Sunny and copying the emails to GG!

It honestly really surprised me, but then again I've never had problems with them. Interesting to hear on the GG front though - as I say I think Sunny group could be hit badly by this, especially as the word spreads.

I like it spear, nice layout and colors, etc. Good clean site. Also I like the tickers that show not just the jackpots, but also the last won stats and payout stats. Cool stuff I haven't seen elsewhere.

Hi Jinnia,

https://www.casinomeister.com/rogue-casinos/

Update scheduled for tomorrow....

The problem is that a number of complaints I've had concerning this group of casinos are from first timers and not so much the bonus hunters. They played the rules to the "T" and got locked out.

That's like using a 50% off coupon at a store and getting booted out as soon as you use it. Kind of lame, don't you think?

Thank you casinomeister, and yes, it is completely lame.

The casinos set up the requirements on the bonuses, and if a player meets those requirements, then they are NOT a bonus abuser, nor are they taking advantage there of.

All that is mentioned is: 'SHOULD we suspect', well hell, you know they are going to suspect you being an Advantage Player no matter how your play is as long as you take a bonus.

so murder1 is correct, do not take any bonuses what so ever, and before ever depositing into a casino, send them an email and tell them you do not want any bonuses, and wait for a reply email stating they have fixed your account not to accept any.

I signed up but didn't have time to look around too much yet. But I like the first look! Very clean site as Jpm said. Also really like you show which casino is offering the games and the comparision of the software.

I will have a day off (Yah!) this weekend (without kids, house work and do whatever I want... )and will look into more!

Have a nice weekend!

No, I didn't think that part was live yet, or if you'd want the likes of us poking around in there ;-)

I'll try that later on and see, sounds like something fun awaits!

John Abbott of Gone Gambling always comes across as what, sadly, is becoming a rare breed - a totally frank and honest man. No doubt like thousands of others I would back his word against anyone's - and after reading his public release of his problem with the Sunny Group it is clear to me that the Sunny Group have shot themselves in the foot big time. I used to be one of their customers but no more ............!!

I just noticed something interesting in their weekend contests this weekend. The rules used to say that you needed to wager your prize 2x before cashing out. Now they have this convoluted b.s. that says:

Promotional Bonus given MUST be wagered FOUR (4) times the total amount deposited (Deposit + promotional bonus) BEFORE making any cash-in. (For example, if you play two hands of BlackJack and wager 5 credits on each, this represents a total of 10 credits wagered. If you win one of these hands and lose the other, your credit balance will remain the same; the amount wagered (10 credits) counts toward fulfilling your promotional obligation).
All PROMOTIONAL BONUS credits are for wagering purposes only. No cash-in will be honored for an amount less than the PROMOTIONAL BONUS. Upon your FIRST cash-in (regardless of the number of deposits), any amount up to the equivalent value of the PROMOTIONAL BONUS will be deducted from your balance or winnings prior to settlement. The first credits wagered will be deducted from your deposit(s) rather than from the PROMOTIONAL BONUS.

Sorry, but that is just total crap. Not only have they doubled the wagering requirements, but the prize is sticky. If I can't cash in a "prize" I won in your contest, then its NOT A PRIZE!

What gets me is how all of this escalated. As I wrote in this week's newsletter, if you want to use something, ask.

It's still not clear exactly what was lifted from Bet2gamble's website, and what exactly was published by Sunny. Perhaps I need to mosey around and try to find out. But if was indeed a "lifting" of material, it wouldn't be the first time.

Some of you may remember a kind of humorous event where the Sunny Group had "borrowed" some of my HTML from the 2001 Awards page. It was a section where they were awarded the "Best Casino Group of 2001", and the casinos were named via hyperlinks. This text, along with the hyperlinks, were placed without my knowledge on Miami Beach Casino's Newsletter page. What they didn't realize was that I was tracking the links via my banner rotation software. I found out because I started receiving some traffic from this page. So I changed the URL for the tracked links, and when their visitors clicked a link for Casino Fortune, or any of the other casinos mentioned in that paragraph, this is what they saw:
https://www.casinomeister.com/about-us/

Ha ha ha. I even ran a contest and gave away free UK Casino accounts for players who could find this. Too bad they (Sunny) took the links down. They were up there for quite some time.

casinomeister,

LMAO, now that is just too funny. Love the way you handled that.

And a good picture ..

Jinnia, That's the way I do it. I never never never accept any bonuses. I usally deposit $150 to $200 and play as I choice. If I lose it hell with it. I'll double up at another casino. But they wont trick me with that BS Wagering requirement. And you can't play this or you can't play that. Just use your own money. And tell them to goto hell with their bonuses

I started doing the same also murder1, sent emails stating not to give any deposit bonuses, they marked my account of this.

I'm not only saying go to hell with bonuses, I'm saying go to hell with online casinos (period!).

Was Korea... and flu is actually gone, only to be replaced by a cold - that's what happens when you are confined to the hotel room for three days.

Yes, still going to Vegas, as a matter of fact headed to San Francisco on the 5th.

Howdy!! I have been perusing this forum for some time and have a question and a couple of statements to add:
Question: Why??

Statement #1: I cannot understand why people would give their "hard-earned" money to anonymous/unseen people/places over the internet!! I understand that there are "shut-ins" and such that have only the internet as a form of communication and enjoyment...but that doesn't mean that they should be prey to ruthless, greedy, dishonest people who claim to be online casinos!! All I have seen on here is constant complaining that "this casino" or "that casino" doesn't pay out what is owed!! It is a crying shame that this is going on.

Statement #2: A very wise quote from the Bible:
"A FOOL and his money are soon PARTED."

Mind you...I am not against gambling...I gamble in Las Vegas or any of the Indian casinos here in So. California! I just don't throw my money away on online casinos. I like to play for free and get some "practice" in for when I do go to a REAL casino.

That's about it!! Thanks for letting me vent!!

Nita =^)

Yep I agree Jinnia. The worst mistake I think I ever made was to start online gambling. I really do believe that, I really do!

That is my feelings about it also murder1.

I've learned, a bit too late, but I've learned. All my friends I referred to certain casinos, has also stopped. Hopefully this will be a domino affect .. one can only hope anyway!

I took part in this promotion from Grand Online Casino.

Hi Nita,

There are quite a few reputable and honest online casinos out there. I regularly play at quite a few of them and am way ahead overall. Even farther ahead than from the land based casinos I've played at. The trick is to figure out which ones are good and bad, this is where the casinomeister comes into play. This is a great resource for doing just that. Unfortunately, there are alot of scumbags out there that try to cheat the casinos and then come here and complain when they get caught. It gives both the players and casinos a bad reputation in each other's eyes. Overall though, I'd be pretty bored if online gambling weren't available. The closes casino to me is a couple of hours away, so its not that convenient. Having online casinos lets me play whenever the mood strikes (no I'm not addicted, I've taken the test at GA and not even close).

I remember that Bryan, but had forgotten about it until you mentioned it! LOL. I remember entering the contest, but didn't win anything :-(

Basically what I understood that Sunny Group did was to copy a web page from Bet2Gamble's website and use it as a full page ad in some magazine without asking or crediting the source. Then wouldn't talk to him when he called them on it.

Hi,

I hope CasinoMeister won't mind me posting this too much, but I thought it was kind of on topic...

My new site has an interview I conducted with Ed Ware, the CEO of 32Red, which I thought might be interesting to some Meister Members since so many people here seem to love 32Red (me included!):

Old / Expired Link

Plus, during September I've negotiated a 100% match deal for GamblingFamily.com members at 32Red (usually 50%).

Hope you enjoy the interview!

Thanks,
Ben.

Back to the Treasure Nile - I've never won much at all on that game... best was around $50 once I think!! I think my problem is starting with a small bank roll... so my question is, what sort of a bank roll do you start with to end up with $3000 winning lines? I played the other day and didn't get a single hit before my money ran out!

Thanks,
Ben.
