Hi I am trying to inform the online community about my experience at Obling casino and warn people about them.I received a newsletter advertising Onbling and through the newsletter I have joined genuine casinos but Onbling is a SCAM.I made a deposit there and the transaction showed as Online Aid BAKU AZ.My card was cancelled immediately by my bank and they informed me it was a scam.I have googled BAKU AZ and they are known for many scams. This casino is not what it advertises itself to be.I deleted all the software from my pc and then went to their site and contacted the Live help and my username showed right away and when I asked about the transaction they told me that it should have showed as Online Aid.My bank has informed the authorities and I have been doing the same.If an Admin here reads this please get in touch and I can email supporting documents to you. This is not a joke I am not slagging them off because I didnt win and more worrying than the fact I lost a few dollars is that these scammers have all my personal info.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not get fooled by them

Ugh ....

Why do you think OnBling is a scam????????

These casinos use sketchy payment processors sometimes. It's quite possible that the processor you used has been involved in processing card payments for scams. THAT DOES NOT MEAN ONBLING IS A SCAM. It does mean that you should carefully check your credit card statements to ensure that none of these dodgy payment processors try to tack on fraudulent charges in the future. But that goes for anytime you make a deposit in order to gamble online.

You should have told your card company that it was a legitimate charge that you made at an online merchant. It was ... you signed up for the casino and made a deposit.

FYI ... I have played at one of OnBling's sister casinos and have received payment via wire transfer. They don't appear to be a scam casino to me.

onbling chat

i created an account there but i have never deposited there yet, and i will not do it.....

i go to live chat ask "what should appear on the bank statement"?

here is the conversation:

Please wait for a site operator to respond.
You are now chatting with 'Nataly'
Nataly: Thank you for playing at OnBling, my name is Nataly. May I have your username and how may I help you?
you: i would like to know, if i made a deposite by credit card, in the bank statement should appear what?
you: username is bsilva028
Nataly: its going to be toll free number and random website like webaid
you: it dont appear the name of the casino or the name of the company that is operating?
Nataly: Bruno we also have great bonuses are you interested?
you: may be, but 1st i need to know, why and what is "random website"
you: ?
Nataly: no signs of casino web site going to appear for our players security and privacy
you: why dont appear the name of the company that operates the casino?
Nataly: its might be charity online
you: to protect players from what? i have deposites in lots of casinos and i never heard about that
Nataly: or shopping website

whats this_? toll free number plus random website???? it dont appears the name of the casino to protect the players??? lool
what is "shopping website"?
i dont know if they are a scam or not, but i will not deposite there for sure

Well they are most certainly disguising their gaming transactions as charities, which personally I think is pretty low.

I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with some Azerbaijani financiers having my personal details either. I would avoid them based on these things alone, along with the support rep being more interested in the hard sell than helping the customer.

However, bpb is right in saying that the processor may have been used for a scam by others and doesn't mean the casino itself is necessarily a scam.

Thanks for the easy to read one paragraph warning though.

coincidency or not but, Nataly: its going to be toll free number and random website like webaid and to obita says AID.my, its very close no?
i will not deposite there for sure

Actually, I've received an invitation from them but didn't sign up
because they're unknown to me.

I wouldn't slander them like you did though simply because
no illegal transactions were made on your card.... As a matter of fact,
it sounds to me like you charged back by running
to your bank like you did before coming on here
and asking about casinos using fake names when
making a transaction on your card. Naughty naughty.

Next time, use a prepaid or stay away from online gambling.

All online casinos especially U.S facing ones ( RTG mostly and Top Game ) will use a different description of the transaction when using a Credit Card to deposit whether you are in the U.S or not, it is a means to hide what the transaction was actually for..(even the Accred casinos here)

Whether or not the casino is a scam is still out there as this group is fairly new and tbh yours is the first complaint I have seen about them ( I will be honest have not Googled them for complaints but I do frequent quite a few forums / websites)

Sounds like you called the bank ( because you are not knowledgeable in the way casinos will handle CC transactions) so you and the bank then panicked and charged back closed account and re issued you a new card.( I will retract this statement if the casino is proven to be a SCAM!) My advice is do some research if you decide to deposit with the new card or this will happen again.

I do not like the fact as Nifty pointed out they are using "charities" ( don't think any other casinos do this ) as a description but they did say in that live chat convo it may also show as a shopping purchase which is usually the norm.

Onbling Casino

Well here is what I know from my dealings with Onbling Casino. I played a few hundred dollars and lost because of my own ignorance. I was up $2800 and could have cashed out but kept playing and lost. The next day they gave me a comp for $150. I got lucky and ran that up to $1000 and cashed out. They took back their $150 and only let you cash out 5 times the comp. So I got a check from them yesterday for $750. It took about 12 days. <snip>

I just won $5000 and cashed out $2500. Thats the max you can cash out at one time. I can at this time only say good things about this casino. Getting a check from a US Bank is very rare for sure. But all to their own.
