OMG! Huge Jackpot win at Casino Euro!

Thank you Tirilej!

Are you sure, even in the case of huge amounts? It is very important to me to find out about this.

Yes I'm sure!!

Your question is really strange. Noone who wins a huge amount say no if the casino wants to meet and talk to the person.
The publicity rules you can find in casinos T&C's still lets people remain anonymous if they want to.

Jasmine I can only guess that you have been burnt by your 'friends' in the past, I know for sure if I won this amount of money I would have no problem GIVING my true friends a little surprise present of a few hundred pounds, especially those that are really struggling in the current financial climate. Theres no question that some, WORTHLESS friends might try take advantage of a win like this and I truly hope the OP doesn't have any of those sniffing around him, but this is the kind of thing that makes life worth living, getting a win like this and being able to share some of that good fortune with the family and friends who deserve it and have been good to you in the past... just my opinion though.

P.S. Hi hoff, we are friends right?! :)

I haven't particularly been burnt myself, but I'm old enough to have seen quite a bit in my lifetime. I think I mentioned be generous, and I too have people close to me I'd give money to. Sometimes people are quite well intentioned at the time they borrow money (and I'm not talking a tenner til payday) but it's particularly risky to loan or invest in people's business ideas, or co-sign loans.

Thank you Tirilej!

If it is very important to you, I suggest you ask the casino(s) you play at their rules. I know that when the MegaMoolah was won at Butler's, the rep went to meet the winner and present the giant cheque, and some photos were taken of the lucky winner picking out his new car.

The only reason I could see why it would terribly important to you is if you were a fraudster, or possibly in witness protection programs. Many casino terms say first name and initial and likeness for publicity purposes.

Thank you again,

But that's for publicity purposes...not for identity check, courtesy or counseling.

Another question...

How much do you thing it would be possible for a regular player (I mean someone who can't afford to bet high values) to win?

Thank you in advance.

Maybe you should start your own thread and ask all of these questions instead ;)

The guy who won at Butlers Bingo as Jasminebed mentioned was betting 30 cents/spin. He won over €5 million :)

Extremely happy for you hof......please do invest a large part of the money in something good, I'd even say buy a small flat or home

This way you'd make an immovable asset and also save a lot on rent.....my advice would be not to speculate in stocks directly regardless of what the bank tells you.....

You're definitely a little late today, but if you would get the money a week ago I'd have suggested to go watch the game today in brasil :D:D, who know maybe the swiss can spring a surprise and give you a second chance....:)

Thank you Jasminebed. I've already did that, but it was denied, because as you should figured out by now we aren't talking about me. Even if I asked them: "in case I ..." the support refused to answer me.

I'm trying to find out if someone's story fits.

Basically a good tip but unfortunately hoff is from Switzerland, and the amount won wouldn't even buy him a decent "2 zimmer wohnung" :p
I would think a nice car or starting a small business are good options though, but i definitely would be celebrating my ass off for a whole week with family and friends first:)

The other, more positive side of hoff living in Switzerland is their banks are steady, safe and will provide a safe place for his money untill he figures out what to do with it, and on that note grats @ hoff, really awesome win, i also play that game a lot and my life would definitely need some changing too atm. so i would have loved to be in you shoes...

Keep your head cool and enjoy it!

Why is this so important for you to know? Did you just win a jackpot too? If so, please share your story with us, because at the moment your line of questioning, and its timing, is very suspicious.

And congrats hoff! I hope your good fortune breeds further good fortune, and you have good advice around you. Great story to hear, and I humorously enjoyed feeling your nervous excitement as I read the thread, lol. All the best. ;)

Sorry, but there was nothing clear about your comments, hence my specific questions.

I'm happy to give you the benefit of the doubt, but if I just won a jackpot, your line of questioning, and your posting history, would raise alarm bells.

I have talked to him through pm's now.
He had his reasons for asking, but it had nothing to do with the OP in this thread so no worry:)

Martina, I recall a number of years ago when a casino group (Rushmore I think) was hit by a large fraud ring. They did perform in-person security checks in a number of countries. A few members here were dolphins caught in the tuna nets and were eventually verified and paid. None of them were huge winners either as far as I remember. I was unsuccessful at finding the old thread.

UDPATE TIME

Hey Guys,

it's time for an update. The last few days were amazing and interestnig for me. I can confirm that i already received 2/3 of the full amount, the last one was sent to my bank this morning, so i should receive it tomorrow.

ABOUT CASINO-EURO/PAOYUT:

The whole process was totally painless, due to bank-payout i had to send an account-statement of my bank account but thats an easy print out of my ebanking, besides that, all was perfect. I was constantly contacted and updated via a personal VIP Manager (Miss Cocker). She was incredibly nice and always informed me about the status etc.

Additionally they will send me a beautiful bottle of Dom Perignon that i will receive by the end of this week.

I was always impressed by Betsson and the different brands there. "Instant Cashouts" to E-Wallets, great customer support and an absolutely hassle-free payout of this incredible huge amount.

I also immediately after asking received a receipt about the winnings which i can show (if necessary) to our government taxmen (bad people...) :)

So all i can say is BIG THUMBS UP for CasinoEuro. The whole process couldn't be handled in a more professional way, i got treated like a king. Excellent.

ABOUT THE WINNING:

Of course i have thought a lot about what should i do, how etc. First of all i decided against "investments". I paid off pretty much all open bills, i also paid off last years taxes and will already pay this years taxes (which will be A LOT higher because i will be transparent about this win = Around 35-40% taxes will go away). Of course i could have tried to invest it to get away from taxes, but it's to risky and i definitely dont' want to be greedy.

Besides that i will continue with my life as it is, just with a bit more in my wallet for my future... I will defintiely play less online, but i know myself, if a new slot comes out, of course i will try it with some spins!! :) The landbased casino will still see me from time to time with my friends, and of course i will still check this forum (although maybe a bit less that i've used to).

Thanks for all your kind words... And all i can say is: NEVER thing that you're not going to win. It will happen then when you totally not think about it...

You're right. I just saw an AD on TV. 2.5 room appartment outside of Zurich for "only" 680'000 Swiss Francs = around 750'000$. That's how we roll!

And taxes will take away A LOT from me, still i want to be on the safe side and to add around 90'000 Euros to my Bank Account (after taxes) is beautiful.

Also for me this is a LIFE CHANGING win. I do have a car and a good life, but still after payments, taxes and some fun, there's not "a lot" left, so it really helps me to think a bit less about money...

Shame you don't live in the UK, where gambling winnings are tax-free. £100milion on the lottery, or a pound from a pub fruit machine. Anyway, seems like you get to keep 2 of the 3 instalments and the third one goes to the kleptocracy....:(

In Switzerland gambling winnings are only tax free if won in one of the landbased casinos within the country. And i wasn't that lucky there so far... ;)

Hi Hoff
you have to pay taxes for winnings in landbased casinos as you have to pay for lottery winnings.
There is a "Gesetzesrevision" ongoing, but if you land a big hit here in the Grand Casino Baden you have to pay taxes a s well.

Just for your information.

I`m really happy that a young swiss guy was able to do such a big hit. One more time my congrats:thumbsup:

NOT TRUE. Because official landbased casinos are already crazily and heavy taxed, winnings in landbased official Swiss Casinos are tax free.

Example here from Grand Casino Bern:

My post was BS
Sorry. My mistake.

Cheers

Very well done Hoff....I am absolutely thrilled and delighted for you. And thanks for sharing the screenie.....oh what a beauty it is!

Enjoy the money, enjoy spoiling yourself and your nearest and dearest, enjoy your celebrations, and finally, enjoy a happier life :)

I agree but we get taxed enought for things in u.k as is, Its abit carazy still how they can tax winnings, I mean can you wipe of your tax at the end of the year with casino repiets? lol, canot win either way,

If you are talking 30% of your win for taxes, I do think it's worth a few hundred euros for tax advice.

I don't know about the laws for Switzerland, but most countries have laws that let investors and those with money avoid or defer taxes.

You dont have to make decisions overnight usually, spend some time and money exploring your options.

And spend some time drinking champagne and just having some everday worries lifted from your shoulders.

I am confident you will be wise with it.

Hey Guys,

i just won the Glass Slipper Jackpot (it was at 160'000 Euro), Casino Euro told me they still need to verify everything and will contact me (I see the funds already in my account)

Do i have to be worried? I just had 5 Jackpot Symbols in one Line (as it said it should be) and also the Jackpot is now down to around 1000 again....

I'm heavily excited but also a bit worried... Can someone tell me how this usually works? I never won a jackpot that high....

PS: Should i post the screenshot of the win here?

Congrats Hoff! Amazing win! Life changing! Spend it wisely!....then again just spend it and enjoy it :)

Put up ya hand if you still feel like posting ya latest winning screenie after Hoffs post ☺️

Damn it Hoff, I had what I thought was a mad x10K win, but after your ridiculous effort, I'm going to bury it deep in my laptops HD!

Again, congrats man. That's one legend hit!

LAST UPDATE

Hey Guys,

i wanted to provide a last update in this thread.

I now received the last payment on my bank. So everything went incredibly smooth. I also received a beautiful bottle of Dom Perignon which i will definitely enjoy as well.

Special Thanks to Eleanor, but also to Patryk and the whole Casino-Euro Team who made this payout and everything around it such a great experience.

A good place to play, and now i know for sure: Also a good place to win big.

I thought about this and i talked to tax advisors. The thing is, there are ways of course. But there's now way that is as easy as having the money on my bank account. And in the end, if they find out somehow (and times are tough these days) you are F***** with a capital F :)

So i decided to not be greedy and pay them.... It's still life changing for me :)

Congratulations from everyone at Ash Gaming, as you might know The Glass Slipper is one of our slots :)

Hope you enjoy spending the money and good luck for the future!

Thanks, yes i did know that. I like the other Ashgaming slots more than this one, only played it very rarely, but now i think this hast du be my new favorite ;)

Pleased to hear you knew it was one of ours, not surprised to hear it is a new favorite ;)

I really like AshGaming slots, but any chance that you could get rid of flashing spin/play button in the future games? Constant, steady glow as sign that the spin/play button can be pressed is much better than that annoying flashing.

My favorite is Life of Brian. A lot of random features and bonus rounds. Play that one all the time!! :)

Good choice, a personal favorite of mine, like you said a really random game with so much going on. Heart of the Jungle is my next favorite - If I'm allowed them!

Thanks for the feedback, I will pass it on to our product team.

I do like the Ash Gaming slots too...

My favourites would be Leprechauns Luck because of the fun theme and it can pay very well in the bonus games, also it has a jackpot that regularly is being hit by players which I like...Had a few very nice hits on this slot back in the days I played at William Hill.
Another one is Nags to Riches, the slot I have won my highest win ever on with a Free Spins bonus on a €3.20 bet (€1.60 each way).
I kept hitting high paying symbols and ended up with a €4700.00 win on that single free spins round...I also love the horse racing game on it,very cool.

Nice to see a company actually respond on this forum.

I don't see Netent or MGS doing that!

Fair play to you guys!

just found the first screenie i've got :-))

So how is it going? Spent any money yet? :D

Hi there,

as you have seen a took a little bit of a break, but now i'm back for my occasional gambling sessions :) I had 2-3 weeks after the Jackpot win where i tried "extreme high rolling" and lost a couple of thousands, but that period is now over :) I'm back to 0.50 - (occasionally) 5.00 bets and to casual gambling :)

I will also now be again more active here :)

Regarding your question, i paid a lot of taxes (some old ones), had some big open bills, paid Vacation for me and my girlfriend, and i bought a new car.... See below :)

Beautiful

I'm not worried about you at all. I know you mostly play for the fun of it, if anyone is...so just enjoy life.

I think we all felt like we won a little too just because we knew you from here.
A nice feeling to be happy for someone else:)
