I’ve been doing my best to resist the urge to deposit anywhere for the past few days. One of the down sides to gambling online is the ease at which you can do it I guess. So finally tonight I give in. Figure I would deposit $ 100.00 into highnoon so I can play a few hands of blackjack. When I log into my account I noticed I still have .70 cents left from an old deposit. Figured I’d burn off the .70 cents so I can start fresh….wouldn’t want any of that losing mojo from the last gaming session to carry over.

Up my bet to .50 cents so I can quickly get rid of the loose change…hit spin and bam, first spin yields $ 14.00. Thinking that was an odd lucky spin, I up the bet to $ 1.00, not in hopes of winning anything but just out of a semi annoyance. I wanted to hurry and get rid of the left over balance so I can move on. Proceed to hit spin and multiple features trigger back to back. My balance now sits at $ 85.00. I know it’s not much but considering it started from a left over .70 cents I couldn’t help but post. I’m glad I decided to be anal and burn off the last .70 cents before for depositing. Seeing as I was only going to deposit a $ 100.00 anyway, I’m pretty much good to go for my blackjack session. :yahoo:

Nothing. Just didnt want you to deposit so soon.

You're probably right. I've been putting in to much money lately. Haven't been sticking to the monthly budget I set for gambling online. I might stop for a while and save up for a trip to a B&M.

*sweet* - I love when that happens. Kind of like winning on your comp dollars when the real money is gone. Now come back later and tell us a good story about your BJ session.

I just remember it has been almost 10 years since i last played Mahjong :eek2:
Why on earth did i stop playing it ?

If all 4 players are the sociable and noisy type this game is enjoyable with the cracking sound of the tiles and the sensation of using your figures to feel them. Due to much practising in my tender years, I enjoy a 100% hit rate. Cracking jokes, making fun of people can all be carried out at the mahjong table. I could play for 30 hours without feeling tired such was my enthusiasm for it.

Me Too!!!!

Now that sounds like a grand idea....and mahjong is one of my other favorite pasttimes
except I think the (Philippine style) which I play most is a lot simpler than Chinese rules.

seems i'm the only one in this thread that doesn't know what mahjong is.

Mahjong looks a little bit like poker... only much more commplicated :D

Mahjong is complicated in more ways than one. It can reveal a person's true character. Years ago in Hong Kong many parents helped their daughters choose their husbands through a game of mahjong. Some people show their true colours at mahjong eg being wily, arrogant or abusive. This is true though my mother in-law was unable to test me on this. It was she who lost her temper.:D

If played well it's a very complicated and interesting game. Not many people here in the Netherlands know how to play it, but my brother's wife is Chinese. Can you imagine how surprised she was to hear i knew how to play ?

The thing that (still) really kills me is that people always mistake it for the "memory" game (pick up the same 2 tiles).
