Not off to a good start with Queens Club

I haven't even placed my first bet at Queens Club, but I'm not off to a good start. I haven't seen any negative posts about them on this forum, and I have seen several posts about their quick payouts, so I decided to give them a shot. I deposited a small amount to test them out ($200). My first problem was that I wanted the $40 sign up bonus removed (didn't feel that their 20x playthrough was very good). I called the support number listed at the casino, and the short version was that I got transferred around several times, and as far as I can tell, there was NOBODY working that represented Queens Club Casino. I got the sports book, and I got some other department, but I simply could not speak with anyone that represented casino support. After getting transferred back to the same person at the sports book, she tried to help me, but said that she did not know how to remove a bonus from a casino account. She said I would have to call back in the morning and talk to a manager for the casino. I asked her what number to call (since I had called the casino support number listed at the casino), and she said that she didn't know. She said to just call back the same number I dialed the first time, and they would try to transfer me to someone at casino support. Huh? Ok, so far this is not good.

To make it worse, since I didn't want to begin wagering (lest I get stuck with the bonus I didn't want), I decided to play some BJ in practice mode. I started with $500 in "play" money. In all fairness, I only played a short time, but all I can say is......unbelievable. I have never seen a dealer get so many 21's against my 20's or 20's against my 19's. I have never seen so many dealer 4's, 5's or 6's turn into winning hands. I have never had so many splits or doubles (the few that I had) turn into crap hands.

I'm really apprehensive now about playing with the $200 in real money that I have in my account. Based on my initial experience with support, and my initial experience with the practice mode of BJ (which is all I play), I'm thinking I should just try to get my $200 out and head for the hills.

Does anyone have any experience with Queens Club? Is this some kind of weird occurence for them? Should I just chalk it up to a rough start and give it a shot?

I might add that I am just looking for a decent place to play some medium limit BJ. I typically play 3 hands at $50-$75 per hand. Omni was my casino of choice for a long time, but I finally decided to try someplace new because every time I had a nice win (or winning streak), it was immediately followed by a bruising loss (or losing streak). It just no longer felt like your typical up and down that you would expect in a casino, but began to feel more like someone was watching my play, and every time I got up, they brought me down. Not accusing Omni of anything, but just stating how it felt to me. Just found that the wild streaks (positive and negative) were no longer enjoyable for me.

Anybody care to recommend a decent casino for BJ with my limits?

Interesting read, I'll give you that. But, how on earth do SunnyGroup casino's get so high in the rankings? The world truly is a subjective place!

Thanks. I actually have an update....the good news is that about an hour after I was told to call back in the morning, I got an e-mail stating that they had removed the bonus from my account. That's pretty efficient I would say, so I have to give their support credit where it is due. The bad news, I went ahead and played my $200. Results in BJ were pretty similar to what I experienced in practice mode.

Here's one for you math people.....in 64 rounds, here is a snapshot of a small sample of the dealer hands:

BJ-6 times
21-2 times
20-12 times
19-10 times

So 30 out of 64 rounds the dealer had 19 or better. Does that sound right? Is there anything unusual about that (I really don't know, since statistics is not my strong point)? I know its a small sample, and anything can happen, but it sure didn't feel right, especially when 20's came up when I had 19, and 19's came up when I had 18.

*****UPDATE**** I found the answer to my question. I came across a website that gives the probability for all dealer hands. Apparently, the odds are that a dealer will have 19 or better 43% of the time. In my case, it was about 47%, so not that much different. I guess I can't explain why it didn't feel right if there was nothing statistically unusual about it, but it just didn't, probably because the dealer made alot of those 19-21 hands from busting cards (4-6)

I don't play a lot of Blackjack - the very reason being the sort of stats you quote!
The odds of dealer 19+ may be 43%, but that figure ignores the players hand. What are the odds of the dealer taking the piss by beating you by one point so much of the time?

Having said that, I have always found Boss BJ one of the fairest.
Have you tried Casino on Net? Again, in my limited experience, theirs is probably the fairest BJ I've ever seen.

Queen's Club is a boss media casino, so you didn't have to have the bonus removed manually. At Boss Media casinos you can withdraw any time you wan't. If you have any unfulfilled WR, the bonus amount will simply be removed from your account.

How many decks are being used in the BJ you're playing? I usually bet on the one with 2 decks in play as opposed to 8, less chance of dealer drawing that ace needed to force a push.

I usually choose a CM recommended casino, if it goes south, I can rag on Bryan.
