Nordic..poor support, buggy software

K, I'm playing Scrooge, $2 a bet..in real, never left the game. Get up to 40 free spins when it triggers.
During bonus, it pays like, ridiculous sums..hundreds for small hits, so, obviously, I know something is wrong. End up with like 5K....obviously a game error. End of spins, says 'playing in fun mode'.

Now, I've been playing in real all this time; never left the game. Somewhere, somehow it switched over, I'm guessing when it hit the bonus round. In FS it was paying like I was betting max, but in base game, paying like it should.
Go to support, basically a 'oh, too bad, so sad' and left me hanging in chat.

Wow, if this was your first post ever people would be saying it looks like a scam trying to ripoff the casino but you have been around here for a while. Seems quite a few are reporting problems with Nordic Bet. Might be time for a re-review. The game log would be interesting to see if the FS were triggered in real or when they say you switched to practice mode.
 
well, thats the weird part...every spin paid a regular paytable return right up to the FS..i mean, id have noticed if 3 of a kind paid 100s of bucks id think..my balance was about what I began with when going into FS minus or plus a couple..only when it went to FS did it start paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars for piddly spins.
I'm not saying nordic are crooks, theyve a sterling repuation..but I'm not a noob either trying to rip off a casino. Just seems wonky. I've been playing for about 10 hours in real. Lol, I NEVER choose to play in free mode. And of course, I went to live chat, I'm not going to try to WD 5k when I know I didnt 'hit' it.
 
My god Dionysus, this must be one of the worst f***ups I've ever heard of in casino land. Suddenly turning to FUN play?? Incredible, and I am also appalled at the poor support. I suppose you've PMed the rep by now? Good luck and keep us posted.

Lol, I'll flag Robin to the thread. I play here and Maxino and Betsafe..never really had any problems. Though this one IS a kicker. I never thought 5k is/was due me..obviously that's not attainable at $2....for FS results, I'd see maybe 100-200$..just somewhere along the way, it decided free mode was where I'd play and shuffled me there. I certainly didn't opt for it, not with a balance, in real mode and partially through my count of days.

sounds like a serious glitch indeed. in CS i would not have let them off that lightly, ask to speak to a supervisor or demand one gets back to you.

Lol, yeah, I don't play it to make the moo, rather for play time..I tend to end a few bucks up, or a couple twenty down. As for CS, I didnt let them off at all; they didn't bother to get back after that last post so I hung up.
 
Did the free spins start and then it kicked you into fun play? Or did you get kicked into fun play and THEN get the free spins? Or do you know?

I had a weird glitch once at Nordic too - it was like one of the game bonus rounds was haunted or something - I sent a message (chat was offline) and Robin looked into it and said "Hey you're right, that IS weird" and got me all sorted. I'm sure he'll do the same for you. :thumbsup:

Also, since this is a Microgaming game, wouldn't the fun play/real play have more to do with the MG client than with NordicBet? I have no idea how it works.
 
Someone else a while back had the same issue with Andre The Giant slot....well almost the same anyway.

I've stopped playing Nordic atm because I'm sick of having to use different browsers every time I play. One time IE and FF don't work properly, so I have to use Chrome. Next time, Chrome doesn't work so have to try FF and then the NEXT time I can only get it working in IE!

It's like a treasure hunt trying to pick the "browser of the day".

The errors range from not being able to bring up a list of games (only the home page with a couple of most popular slots) to every casino related link redirecting back to itself to not being able to even submit my login details.

I love Nordic, but who can be bothered with all that nonsense? I just wanna play dammit!!

It can't be my PC, or only one browser would work all the time. Its interesting that the problems started around the time Betsson bought them out, but it could be a coincidence.

Kudos to you Dionysus for not carrying on like a two bob watch and screaming "cheat" and "ripped off" and "rogue" like many others would.....and have. IMO they should give you a gift just for that!

I have my moments to be sure. I'm a cynic by nature, but since they've a good reputation and not prone to rogue tactics, I've no reason to not give them the benefit of the doubt to sort it, resolve or explain it. Could be a technical prob, could be something I did (though I don't believe so here). Sucky situation, but not life threatening. I mean, if Robin ignores the pm like the rep, I may be testy. But til then, I'm good ;)

The thing is, I wasn't aware I was in fun play until the end of FS. I didn't BEGIN in free play, so dont know at what point it switched. It wasnt noticeable as my FS count hadn't changed.I mean, from spin one IN fs i knew something was off; the monster payouts didnt coincide with a $2 bet. I was more groooooaaan, gonna have to go to CS say the game went wonky, and lose my spins (and/or balance). It DID suck that when I refreshed and was in real, I had my original balance (though I pretty much did at the 41 spin mark) but now minus the 41 spins for FS I was stoked to play. I replayed, built back up to day 25, got like 14 spins. Replayed it again, didn't get to see FS. Only in 'fun' did I get 41 spsins, which well, obviously did me no good.
 
Thanks. Not much suckier than losing a nice FS round @ $2 you thought you were getting. Maybe a voided JP, but those mostly are due to terms. I've not spoken to Robin yet (I mean, in general, not just for this). Curious for the feedback
 
I have been having kind of the same problem (not so bad though).

When I (assume to) open a game in real play, it opens in funplay. I close the game, open it for real play again. Again funplay.
I'll try to click the "switch to real play" but it wont work. Well, after I log out and log in (several times in some accosions(is that a real word??)), it will finally open the games in real play.

I think it has never switch it from real to fun while I'm playing for real, but still really annoying.

And seriously, many months for now that same problem. I has been meaning to pm nordics rep about this matter, but have allways forgotten to do it.
 
No response? No we are still looking into this, sorry for the delay, we can't find the issue on our end, we are waiting for MG?

I don't expect reps to be here 24/7, or every single day. But if they are away, someone should be minding their inbox, or at least post a note on your public box sorry I'll be away, email blah blah blah.
 
I'm not sure what they are supposed to do? It sucks but it's not like they could just give you the free spins round. Also, why are you playing MG games in a multi platform casino?

I don't want the spins; just the answer as was promised. If they don't intend to investigate or provide one, they should say so.
Why wouldn't I play MG at a multi-platform? Isn't that rather the point, to be able to play different softwares?
 
I have not been able to replicate the issue myself but we have as you know had several players pointing this out and I completely agree that this behavior is definitely not optimal for either us, the players or the provider I would say.

I did not want to respond to this thread before I had something solid to come with but I did not expect it to take this long. I have been pushing for an update in the investigation/solution but I have nothing to come with yet.

Once I have something I will let you know and trust me I will keep on pushing them for an update.

If you have any issue problem with a single game or more don't play these faulty game, stay away from it before matter get worse. Report to casino on the spot and wait patiently. If you don't get response, try ask rep here. And have some patience to wait. It'll take some times to investigate the problems and apply fix to it. Harassing/rush around will not work that way. It is all about polite/respectful of others.
 
We did receive a response from MG in regards to this case, they pardoned the delay in response however what they stated was not much more information else than what we could have figured out ourselves. We have requested further investigation.

Unfortunately there is not much more I can do at this point.
