So like I had a nice run at bodog as of late. So it was nice to see that the approval of the payout was fast.
Yet for some odd reason since I deposited by credit card... they only pay by check? They won't approve a money gram or western union transfer?
Now I hate to be a worried wart, but after reading the numerous threads about problems with eProcessors and checks. I myself would rather take a money gram or a western union any day of the week. Just because we know the funds would be guaranteed.
I realize a place like bodog wouldn't on purpose send out a bad check, but I really hate taking checks especially from a place such as a poker site. Since they seem to be the most targeted these days for the feds.
Does anyone know how long these checks take to receive. Also has anyone had any problems getting a check from them?
Also for future reference any ideas of how I can arrange to receive a money gram transfer or western union over a check?

i just received a check from them no worries my friend , no indication from the source rest easy there on top of there game

I usually receive my winning checks from Bodog via Fedex....and within a few days if paper work is up to date. Never a problem depositing at my local bank.

Hello! Congrats on your nice run! Checks should take 4-7 biz days to arrive, and if you have any questions about alternative payment methods, I suggest giving CS a call- they will be able to help you.

No need to worry, found myself in a similar situation, but they fedex AND supply you with a tracking number, PLUS the cheque will look like an ordinary everyday cheque so as not to raise too many eyebrows.

Not just that, the stub references an employee number!

Well anyways... cashout on 5/16/2010.

Just got off of the phone about 10 minutes ago with a CS rep from bodog. Was asking about said tracking number. Well even though your on business day 3, we still don't have any tracking information for you.
So then he got to saying that sometimes the check gets sent via USPS and sometimes via Fedex.
So then he went on quoting it was sent via certified mail. I was really? So I really could be waiting til wednesday of next week for this check?
He said well you just have to be there to sign for it otherwise they don't deliver it.
But I said it's going by mail then, so there's really not a tracking number per se on it. He said he couldn't tell me that because the 3rd party processor hasn't sent him any kind of information regarding the check yet. So ummm like is the processor backed up, is the check really on the way, or am I going to waiting til the last day for my cash out.
So far in my opinion, bodog isn't looking very good as a playing option if they can't seem to give a straight answer and keep contradicting themselves.
I realize when you have multiple hands in the dipping pot playing with money sometimes information gets lost, but he was even saying. Well you should get a tracking number 2 days before the check arrives. So then I said to him, well considering it's Wednesay. A day before day 4, shouldn't I get be getting some kind of tracking number by now. He then proceeded to say sometimes the processing company doesn't send them tracking information until either the day of or the day after the check has been already delivered.
Sounded like a bunch of hogwash to me. I mean is the check really on its way or not. I realize this isn't the best way to handle this, but I really seem to be getting jostled around when all I really wanted was a simple answer on to whats going on.
I also just got off the phone with fedex and they have no results of the package being delivered or en route either. Argh... what a mess. I'm done ranting for now. Maybe the rep can shed some light as to whats going on.

Also one last thing, I also just found out from my bank. That apparently one of there processors never finished the transaction either. Which now tells me bodog went through a processor or a descriptor change. I went to the bank and my balance was a little higher than expected. They told me it had been 10 business days since the transaction I had ran at bodog had been processed. Now it had fallen off and they gave me my money back because they never settled the transaction. So I'm like well that's nice, but now I have extra money that I'm guessing they didn't get. So I'm hoping this new processor comes through with things. I mean I'll happily give them there money back if they want me to, but I hope this isn't a sign of possible financial troubles because a processor went AWOL on them.

first ?? did you get paid , 2nd i believe it takes them a couple days longer than others because of logistics ,

my check was actually .75 cents i think more than it was supposed to be if my memory serves Mr correct
but paid or not ??? i seem to be a little confused i doubt bodog is in any $$$$ TROUBLE

im certain you will , breath easy ,i remember when before i had QT and the long waiting time then the mail took so long .
when some one on the Internet owes you or me $$$$ it has a way of seaming sooooo looooong to receive it , but take comfort in the fact that there accredited here on C M and been around for ever

lol sorry for ranting. Just was hoping that it would be here by thursday... so I could deposit it into my account, have the funds available on friday. So I could take my girl out for something special this weekend. Oh well I suppose that'll have to wait if they don't get it to me until next week.

lol well I did get confirmation today that my package was dropped in the mail yesterday. So I'm guessing since it's coming by mail not fedex, it'll probably be at least Saturday before I get it. Tomorrow would be a pleasant surprise, but am not holding my breath.
