Yo

I have a forum suggestion regarding the news section on your main page.

Great section by the way. Should be updated more often perhaps, but it certainly gives the reader a good update/insight regarding recent news in the online industry.

My suggestion is that the news section should be more included/integrated in the forum (maybe make it a bit more "reader-friendly as well). I am no techno dude, so I do not know if it is possible. I just feel it is a bit hidden away on your main page.

At least you should have a visible link to it on the forum site. Related news is often a good source for new (and often good) discussions. So if more people would read the news section then...you know :)

Actually, it is linked within the forum - on the right hand column of the forum main page (What's New), and the same on the Meister Beat page.
https://www.casinomeister.com/gambling-news/ (Latest News). And it's linked on the right hand column of every page on the main site.

It's updated weekly (Fridays) - that's about as often as it can be. :D

I'm always looking for ideas to better the navigation. I'm open for ideas.

When you say "reader friendly", what exactly do you mean? Should I have it translated to Norwegian? :p

Forum suggestion

Bryan,

How about a photo gallery - not just screenshots of 'big wins' - but pics of casino / poker peeps?

Regards,

Daz

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I see the "whats new"-feature on the right hand column of the forum main page now. It was hidden with my settings. But I have "opened" it now :)

Yes, you should translate it to Norwegian. Actually, you should make a separate forum only for Norwegian members :p

When I say more "reader friendly" I mean in terms of design. It is just a looong list of news which in my opinion maybe isnt inviting enough for new readers. It probably has its regular readers who will go through the list, but I can only imagine that an average new member/reader will quickly turn back after they have followed one of the news links. So if the goal was to make the news section more popular, then I would have looked at other ways to present it. As I said, maybe made it more integrated in the forum which may led to more discussions related to news presented there.

Of course, I may be completely wrong here. I obviously do not know how many visitors/readers the news section has. Maybe it is very popular for all I know :)

Think I get ya rainmaker. I use to forget it was here until this past year and go searching for things of interest only to find they're already here duh! So maybe tied into like you turn the page and there it is. I'm real technical too and this 'link' thing well it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks. I do like the page set up though so I can skim down and find what I'm interested in. it could be prettier I suppose. ;)
