Newer WMS Games

So recently I took a trip to my favorite local casino.

Hit one nicer whopper of a cash out on a slightly older WMS game.

Yet I tried out some of the 6 x 4 slot games, and I really honestly was not impressed. It sort of felt like a step back for WMS. Especially for a company that has come out with some pretty amazing graphics, music, and slot designs. Yet it felt like the game was slapped together cheaply.
The reel spin was smooth, yet the graphics and the game design felt dated. It's like they went back to original jackpot party era. No flash, glimmer, or glitz just a basic slot for sure. Plus the cabinet really reminded me muchly of the newer Aristocrat cabinets. Really don't care for the buttons nor the design just because it didn't feel very comfortable to be pressing the button for too long.

Then they had the new game field Wizard of Slots available. Now this of course had the signature beautiful graphics and music. Just once again the cabinet was my complaint. This time it was just too bulky. Too much machine and too much playing field for my taste. You were either paying attention to the slot, your balance, or even sometimes having to crane your neck to see what was going on. I like to be able to see my balance and the spin both.

Plus like any novelty game out there, be it Wizard of Oz, Superman, you name it. The payouts didn't seem as high or on par to the other machines.

Then I tried the reel burst machine, were the machine has 6 reels and starts out with 2 slots, and then kind of expands out from there. Payouts were bit grim, but the trick to this slot. Was hitting on 6 reels to get some really major pay outs. Plus it had the signature minor and major progressives going on. This time tho progressives totals going up were based on bets, not on payout. Plus I had a minor progressive go out while I was on a non winning screen. So that was a nice surprise.

I tried the new Goliath machine this was where I hit my whopper. Posted below is the screen shot.

I don't know if anyone has the same experiences as me or not.
