New York Casino: I have had enough!!

To make a long story short, New York Casino (playtech) has owed me $556 for about 3 months now. Whenever I make a cash-in, they reverse it about a week later.

I HAVE met all the wagering requirements. I used Neteller, not a credit card. I have emailed them numerous times asking the status of my payment and if they need my ID. They've never answered me.

I should also mention that I have received my initial deposit of $1000, but even that took a month.

Does anyone else have outstanding payment claims from this casino? Or are they a deposit-only sort of casino right now? Do I have any hope of retrieving my winnings? I first played there in January and this is really getting on my nerves. Thanks for reading this.

Did you try calling them? I believe they still have toll free tech support for canada. They probably don't have a copy of your ID and if you send it from certain free email domains, it gets filtered out.

If that is the case, goto www.myway.com and open an email account there for free and send them the ID info they want from that account. I know that one gets thru.

I haven't sent them ID before. They never asked for it. I'm not going to give it up if I don't have to.

That's probably the problem, as I recall, they won't process without some ID confirmation. Sounds like you may have a spam filter or something that is preventing their emails from getting to you. Better call them and find out what they need.

Hi Tanya; JPM is absolutely right on this one. Within minutes (or probably seconds) of your putting in for your withdrawal you should have received a confirmation email back stating that they (customer service) had received your withdrawal request as well as the time factors involved in your receiving your withdrawal. Lastly, there would have been some statement as to what they require in the way of I. D. in order to verify that you are in fact the account holder. These guys have been around for awhile and I'm not aware of anyone getting stiffed by these people. Have a good one.

Cipher, I know the email you are talking about. Most Playtech casinos send them within 1 min of making a withdrawal.

New York has NEVER sent me one of those emails.

Is there some reason why you seem so reluctant to pick up the phone and call them to ask what the problem is?? I'll even supply the numbers:

Phone: 1-866-546-0453
Phone: 1-268-481-2394
Phone: 1-800-220-9234

Thank you JPM.

I have called. They tell me "the accounts department will email you", or "the accounts department is closed". Or sometimes they don't even answer the phone at all.

hmmm..... :what: I know New York Casino and Usa Casino have recently been switched over to the casino pays affiliate program. Perhaps they are under new management altogether. Could this explain the delayed payment?

Affiliates are also complaining that their statistics got "flattened" by the turnover. As in a Mack truck ran over them and they are annihilated.

People are hoping this is from the switchover and things will recover.

Tanya, I would keep calling next week. It really may have to do with the switch over.

I think we will see a lot of switchovers now - already we have NY and USA switching, we have Phonecian taking over the Nostalgia group, and we have Connecto buying Portofino/Hampton.

Since some of the Pay per Click engines - namely Google Adwords, Overture and Findwhat - are not accepting casino ads anymore, there will be a very noticeable shift in the industry.

Already many affiliates have closed shop. And I predict that the casinos wiill continue to consolidate. I think we will end up with some big groups, small ones will not be able to compete.

Traditionally that has been bad news, when market sections fell prey to monopolies. In this industry? I am not sure I have an opinion there. It could clean up the landscape a bit.

I do happen to think that consolidating affiliate programs, management, etc., will have a positive effect. Perhaps there will be more order where there had been chaos previously. :)
