I just ran across "Grand Monaco Casino." Is this a new Casino or an old one?
Any info, would be greatly appreicated.

Thanks!

When I Googled it, a website came up stating that it might be headed up by the Fortune Lounge Group. They were not able to verify it at this time. If it's true, Fortune Lounge is for the most part quite respectable.

Mmmmmmmm

I believe it is a brand new casino and they are part of the Grand Gaming Group. There are a few familiar faces at G3partner and I have a feeling we will hear allot of good things from them in the future.

Looks like it is a new one thank u original poster. Can somebody please decipher these T&C's for the sign up bonus please?

It's basically the EZBonus system ... wager your deposit once to get the bonus. You should probably decide first whether you want the slots bonus (up to $150) or all other games bonus (up to $75) so you'll know how much to deposit.

After you've wagered your deposit, you get the bonus. Similar to EZBonus, your wagering requirements depend on what game you play. This place does advertise that you can cash out your deposit and winnings if you choose to lose the bonus.

The T&Cs sure are lengthy. I hope I didn't miss anything important, but it boils down to what Macgyver said:

1. Deposit up to $150 for slots or $75 for all games.

2. Play thru 1x deposit.

3. Wait for bonus to be credited (took about an hour).

4. Then you clear $10 of bonus for every $300 slot play. Table poker and war would be $10 per $600 (50%). And video poker and bj $10 per $3000 (10%).

5. You can cash out anything in your cash balance anytime after bonus has been credited (you will forfeit uncleared bonus balance in that case).

So far I cleared a whopping $10 of the bonus.

Anymore info on the background of this casino? I'll only lose -- er... deposit -- $50 when/if I sign up, but still... I'd rather not 'buy a pig in a poke' (something totally unknown). I hate taking all evening to download yet another jillion gigs of yet another MG casino if it's something I'm going to end up deleting right away.

So much for the new player-friendly bonus system intended to end disputes and simplify wagering:

Grand Monaco audits cash-ins to determine if winnings are a result of promotion abuse even though wagering is compliant with the standard terms and conditions.
:eek2:

In the event the casino deems a player to have abused the promotional match offer without demonstrating any degree of play with personal funds, or where a player attempts a large wager(s) with the bonus funds in an attempt to circumvent the wager requirements so that a cash-in can occur despite the bonus system standard conditions, then the casino reserves the right to deny the cash-in and reverse the amounts won as it relates to the bonus amount. The winning funds associated with the bonus amount may be considered void. The redemption of all further promotional offers will be suspended. For example, if a player makes a $100 purchase and qualifies for a match of $100, then makes one $200 wager on blackjack, then this activity will be considered an abuse of the promotional funds and a cash-in may be reversed.

How do you "circumvent" wagering requirements that include the option of withdrawing at any point you wish

A players Cash account may be cashed out at any time.

Vesuvio,.... I absolutely HATE that these EZ bonus casinos still put this wording in their T&C too. The only gues that I have is that the casinos are so effing scared that someone might win that they want to have some way to 'circumvent' paying a player.

In fact they should just make that a term.

I cashed out $600 this morning around 1 AM to Click2pay . Sent my id within minutes and verifed that it was recieved through live chat . I also asked that my withdrawal be flushed which I quess they don't do yet . They have that 24 hour wait period . I will post back when it hits my Click2pay account .
I had deposited $38 wagered and then got the $38 bonus . I wagered over 4000 so there shouldn't be any problem . Will keep you posted .

silkprint, which game did you win the moolah on?

Not as bad as some.

They have at least specified the "sticky bonus technique" they are looking out for rather than give a general term. However, this bet technique does not just apply to Blackjack. Any game with a near 50/50 bet can be used in this way.
It would be far better to get rid of this term and use the software to implement what is desired. Casino Action have a term where they can limit the bet sizes for new players. This would prevent such methods being used.
The big $200 bet and tiddly slot wagers methods only works when done over a number of casinos, or on one casino by a syndicate. This was one reason why many casinos banned Blackjack and similar 50/50 games from bonuses before EZBonus came out.
The "circumventing WR" would work thus. $100 in, $200 on BJ (one bet), win gives $400 of which $300 is cashable. Thus $200 profit 50% of the time and $100 loss the other 50% of the time (approx). The scope for syndicate abuse is obvious, $100 profit per two players (give or take a few bucks).
The ability to cash out at any time actually makes this method even better, as normally the $100 profit would likely be killed off by having to make the remaining WR.

PS Do NOT try this at home with this, or any other, EZBonus casino. They are pretty much all wise to this now.

Except they just give that as an example - so any playing strategy which improves player chances might be considered abuse.

Agreed with that. It's absurd when casinos aren't just restricting games but are also telling you how you have to play them. They need to remember the whole appeal of casinos is attempting to beat the house with whatever strategy you can come up with (of course traditionally you end up paying for the house!).

"Syndicates" are something of an on-line casino myth. If you're going to play a lot of offers all that matters is the ev. Individual results even out over time, so there's no need to team up with anyone else. Info's shared, of course, but getting into messy financial arrangements with near strangers isn't appealing.

I'm probably going to just cash out and forfeit the bonus. I'm too worried that I might accidentally win something and piss them off.

Just checked and it is in my Click2pay already .
I won playing Thunderstruck and Ladies Night .
I will post the screenshots when I get home .

More spin than the slots.

I have just been reading their site, and what's this?

With over 35 years of industry leading knowledge, we have assembled the largest selection of casino slots and games with over 250 unique gaming products and only a click away. Grand Monaco provides the most innovative monthly promotions around so your casino action lasts longer and takes you to new highs.

How about "250 of the standard Microgaming games that are available to all Microgaming casinos"

They are trying TOO HARD to impress for their launch, seasoned players will be sniggering at such grandiose statements. They are just another Microgaming Casino, admit it and cut the crap about having sent your team to Vegas etc to obtain original ideas for the games. It is Microgaming that did all the design.

If they really want to impress, they need to ensure they never use those nasty terms as a means to "circumvent genuine winnings", and ensure they live up to the promises. "Regular promotions" does not just mean a lucky draw every week for a few players to win $50.

Still, they should be given a chance to impress, although I don't see much difference between their promotional format and those run by other MG casinos. I would be interested to know if they intend to run their tournaments with live scoreboards if scoring/wagering determines the winner.

I found them to be about the same as the others . It is odd though that I never got a welcoming email with my account info ect. although they did pay out within 36 hours of my cashin [ I did send id as soon as I requested it ] .

I spoke with the Marelise the VIP manager on Friday and also received a follow up call from the casino manager (I was out) so missed the call.

These guys have only been open less than a month & they have some pretty impressive credentials. I've spoken with support once, though to be honest I wasn't that impressed. No normal "hello to Casino X" or anything.

Reminded me of the old days when you'd ring support and they go "hello", almost as if to suss out who is on the other end :D

I'm sure though, like most MG that start up, they (Grand Monaco) will experience teething issues too.

Well, I bit the bullet and downloaded, installed, signed up, and deposited. Over an hour later and only about half the games had installed -- and I'm on DSL. (Not unusual for an MG that has the full roster of games.) I was delighted to find nickel and dime VP on 4 play and single play games!! (I've died and gone to heaven!) Also happy to find 5 Reel Drive and Truck Stop at lower than norm denominations (nickels and dimes). I lost the deposit quickly hitting absolutely nothing on VP and nothing much better on slots. Have not yet received the sign up bonus.

If I ever win here, and if they offer loyal players decent incentives, and their CS is decent, I may have found a new MG home.

We'll see....

Coin Size

Lower coin sizes on the games will help them get more of the low rollers. I find that many MG casinos will alllow as little as 9c a spin on the likes of Thunderstruck, but the older video slots are on a 25c coin for $2-25 per spin minimum for all lines.
If I don't need my PC for an afternoon I may give them a try, just to see if they really are better/different to the mainstream MG.
The only other group that has low coin sizes is Casino Action, although Roxy Palace has a 1c coin minimum on some of the 4-Play VP games.
Offering 250 games probably explains why the download takes so long.

thank you

Having been open just over a week we have been very happy with the few teething problems we have had, and they way that we have been accepted as a new casino :) A big thank you to all our new players and those that know us from other casinos whom have moved over to support who they know.

Yes, the 250 games are available to all operators, but as far as I know no other operator has turned every game on for download... As far as experience goes - we do have the most, that is for sure! And we do have the right customer focus - keeping players happy is where casinos gain an edge - those who do it well will succeed.

Thanks for the feedback as this info does make us improve each area - if there is something you don't like please feel free to let us know - it will make a difference.

Happy playing!

I played Grand Monaco and cashed out $400 to Neteller. After the 24 hr waiting period i received my cashout just a few hours later. I like the new MG bonus system.

 to Grand Monaco for a nice experience.
