Once you've been here for awhile (if you stick around) you'll recognize the spammers when they show up. They usually get banned right away because there are rules about that sort of behavior. A lot of times Casinomeister and the mods are too busy to check every single post and so they rely on the forum membership to point out and report spammers, which is what Tirilej did.
EDIT:
The OP had a profile full of links to a roulette system and sent out tons of friend requests, probably thinking that it would boost their link juice with Google. Also, if you think that was hostile, you should go find some threads where other spammers were outed, this one was really well behaved compared to some!

Hi Tatiana Newell. Welcome to the forum.
When I was new to the forum, I spent the first month or so just reading posts to get my feet wet about how things work at Casinomeister. I studied the forum rules and learned what was acceptable behavior and what was not.
Trilige was not being rude, but you were. Sorry, that's how I see your post.

Before (as Chayton said) you make any knee-jerk posts against Tirilej or anybody else then please bear in mind this is the top Casino forum on the web, the one that top casinos like being members of and accredited by. As such it attracts every troll, spammer and snake-oil salesman going as well as bonus-abusers, multi-accounters and other ne'er-do-wells. As these people are a pain in the a$$ and detract form the forum during their usually very-brief stay here, we can spot them a mile off and immediately report them for zapping.
As you are now aware this person joined, starting PM'ing/friending higher profile members presumably to spread or flog his 'system'. Newbie or not, you know as well as all of us that we'll have colonized Mars before someone makes gambling with a return in the 90's always pay 100% plus.
Remember on here (even Bryan says so!) spammers and fraudsters will be publicly hung out to dry. If you stay here a while you'll be glad they are shown no mercy too.

Spammers will always come and go , we have had sooooooooooooooooooo many in the past years , the best one ever was the tennis shoe salesman who took up two pages of spam it seemed like a shoe sale from hell but the dude did have some nice hand bags for sale.
To the new members , always read the posts and you will soon find out that some of the best gaming minds are right here on this forum, as far as friend requests I have alot but these are people over almost 9 years I have come to know and enjoy their posts on the forum.
Some get hot headed and some are calm in their posts but we all have one thing in common , the love of online gaming and are we not lucky to have this great place we can come and post , Bryan has continued to be the best year after year on keeping this forum in order along with forum members , they are who help make up Casinomeister !

You posted your perception and view. It is neither right nor wrong. It is simply your perception based on your level of experience and exposure.
Every forum is the same in that there are those with very fragile egos or those that hunker about-- waiting for the opportunity to pounce on other members, new or old , rather than
reach out and offer a hand in friendship and guidance. I don't know the members of this this thread, as I am also fairly new,
but I know many members of this forum from other websites and forums. So far as I can tell, this is a really great community with very useful

Tirilej's response to you was out of line considering you are a new member and weren't to know the op was a spammer. If anything, you were morally in the right, and rather than explain things to you as a newbie, Tirilej choose to then be rude to you.
You'll find this to be a great educational forum, however don't be disheartened if attacked by older members, as they will do and get away with what they please, and you'll always come off second best if you engage, as evident by this thread, regardless of the fact the op was a scumbag.
Enjoy the forum, and if I could give you any advice, it would be to stick to conversations with like minded members, and those that are fairly newer, as the newer members tend to be more welcoming, forgiving, and won't investigate your every post looking for a reason to report you.
Have fun, and feel free to pm me if you have any questions regarding the site, and any 'how to's' regarding the many features here. Promise I won't bite your head off.

And my opinion was it was a trollish comment, posted with the main idea to stir s&it up. You could have 2/3 of that out and it would have been fine.
