Turn right, then right. then right again
Well it had to come, but this one is fairly serious actually...

OK, so I went to the 'future' part and played for a while, then ran out of cash.....so went to the lobby, then the cashier and made another deposit....no problem so far......then logged back into game and....

...suddenly Im back in the 'present' game instead of the 'future' game I just left....WTF???

So it looks like if you leave whilst in any of the 'other' time periods, you end up back at the start again!! What a crock!! Imagine if that happened in Baby Boomers??

Anyone else had this happen??

(now...do I win a lollipop or something for being first??)

:D

Don't most games go back to your current game if you click cashier in the game and not the lobby? You shouldn't have to leave a game to access the cashier and then click off the cashier after adding funds and you should still be where you were. At last that's what I have found with other games, but I haven't seen this one yet.

Nifty in future just go to cashier as you can pick up from where you left off, you would be most likely to win some back that way or have a better chance of winning.

Well I normally just go to the lobby before the cashier by habit, and in every other game it goes back to exactly the same state that I left the game.

E.G. When you leave Baby Boomers and you are in Alaska, if you come back a week later you are still in Alaska. Also, when you leave Fixer Upper and come back a week later it is still in the same 'scene'...and so on with all the other i-slots.

The more I think about it, the more I think its a bug that only happens when your balance reaches 0 and you log out of the game.....but there is nothing in the rules that states anything about the game resetting etc. Imagine hitting the free spins or bonus on your last $1 spin and then logging out for some reason and coming back finding it all reset? Im not going to test this theory but it wouldnt surprise me if it happened.

At the end of the day, when I leave a 'multi-level slot' I should come back to the same level I left it next time. If it is going to reset, it should be stated in the rules.

As I said, can you imagine if Baby Boomers just reset to the start every time? Im pretty sure there would be a few people annoyed.

were u in the "bonus round" portion of the future, where u have to shoot the enemies before going back to the present? Just curious because earlier today, i was playing a bonus round on fixer upper, game froze, and when i reloaded the casino, i was back in normal mode and missed my chance to play. Told the rep about it and he said it was normal to not have the game go back to bonus round if u leave while playing, and that the game calculates an average win from the bonus and it gives u that as a result. (which sucks btw)

I had the same thing happen to me. I was playing on a free chip and was in the future. I eventually lost it all and had another free chip in the cashier so went and claimed it. When I went back to the slot I was back in the present. Im not sure if I went to lobby first before I went to cashier or not....but i agree, it shouldn't matter..

You know, is it a bad thing that it goes back to the beginning slot? This might be why it does that, if it does. As the first slot has the best free spin opportunity's, plus remember it was marketed with only this part of the slots pay-table in the promo emails.

I prefer the space theme slot, it seems to pay more in the base game.

Well I would say the exact OPPOSITE!
I only played a few 100 spins yesterday - but I found the future really sucked big-time with about 80% empty spins. Also on the "Alien Shoot" feature I only got about $60 from a $2 spin, but in the base game feature I got $140.
So if there is a way to get back to the present without hitting the feature I would really like to use it!

There is a way, but not for you, because you have to BUST OUT, and you don't know how to do that, KK. :p

What on EARTH are all you people talking about!?! :eek2:

You're all mental.

I actualy meant the wins on a regular spin were best over the other two slots. All my free spins sucked!

I actually agree that the space slot bonus was pretty low considering the amount of Bots I killed, I got 33x, which still aint that bad.

Yes, Nifty is on 1:-8

Ok, just checked my Vegas Regal account and I have been sent back to the future(always wanted to say that)

I also zeroed out on a free chip, went to cashier returned to game with another free chip and picked up where I left off.

I'm of to bed now, see you all tomorrow, in the future!

OK so that almost gaurantees its a glitch - it seems if you go to the cashier whilst still in the game it will stay there, but if you go to the lobby first then it resets.....just stupid IMO.

Oh, I assure you I do know how to bust... :(

By the way - I was playing in FUN mode!
After getting severely burned by Moonlit Misery, I wont try another new Rival slot with real money from the off!

Not sure this is the case, but we had an instance on RTG's new Aztec game recently where playing with a free chip, running out and returning reset the game to avoid taking the game to the edge of a bonus round on a freebie and profiting by depositing. Looking at other comments this may not be the case here, but out of interest were you playing with a freebie Nifty?

I was playing the past mode and saw in the payout screen you can have expanding wilds during free spins on reel 1, 2, 3 and 4!
Imagine hitting that! I have not yet seen a rival slot that has an expanding wild on the first 4 reels!:

Old Attachment (Invalid)

In the present mode during free spins there is an expanding wild on reel one only. Don't know about the future mode...

I have been trying out this slot and can't seem to hit anything....

agree w/kasinoking - the future mode was the lowest paying of the three for me so far. The past - mega bux from many dinosaur kills. But also this game is a money drain unless u just happen to have an exceptionally great bonus round.

Nope it was my own moola Simmo :)

Ive been thinking some more and now Im more annoyed as the only way you can go back to the start in the game is by getting the bonus round which pays....so I was denied the opportunity to play that round!!

It has to be a bug, otherwise players are going to be ripped off by missing out on bonus rounds they would otherwise be entitled to hit.

Of course, Rival will ignore it and just go on about their business.....but maybe when players start to realise they are being shafted out of a bonus round every time it happens something might be done.

It could be that players would be shafted out of a decent paying bonus round, as you can pop on your first pick at the first slots bonus round.

We will have to see if this is the case for the other two bonus rounds, that is popping on your first pick. I don't think it will be. Because like I said in the other thread these bonus rounds are funky.

I don't understand how anyone is getting shafted out of a bonus round? If you hit the bonus you get it, if not the chance to hit on the next spin is very likely the same in each version of the slot? Sure it could be annoying to get back to the present if you prefer any of the others but it would be very strange if the bug actually changed anything about payouts.
