New Group Created - Do you remember!

shewoff has created a new group called Do you remember!.

A social discussion about "memories". Of a person's past,or a person who saw or heard an event or date. With MP4's and pics if they will fit? Good or Bad? I do not believe bad memories will be discussed that much? But WHO know's!

As many thing's in life I think that the start and the finish of each and every day are UNIQUE! And should be celebrated when we have an event or just the end of a really great day.Many of the best times I personally have had. Are at the shore I love the beach and all aspect's of beach life. Daytona Beach Biker Week! There are something's that will never change? If there truly is a GOD? He made this sunset! After a rain storm the sea becomes a mass of it's own.This shot is in Mission Beach area I found this little movie and it is just like Oahu after a long night for me! How many of you know and remember these item's My own 65 Honda Cub! Where were you in 65?

I still play my early long gone album's that I recorded.



This one may show the age of a few? But it will also stir some memories for some? I still don't know why they changed so very fast? This one worked very well.




In the future if membership allow's. I will have a monthly contest for the best story and or pic/MP4? There will be a cash prize but that is yet to be seen.So just a note to make it clear my intent!


In late 1965 one of my older brother's was already in Vietnam as a Warrant Officer in the navy! In 1967 I was drafted and after a extended amount of training I went 2 Corp Republic Of Vietnam and here I'am...............


Now 2 year's later and and it is Feb3rd,1969 On this day I was seriously wounded and my tour of duty was OVER! So began my life as a man without leg's!Peace Out! Out Of The Mist! shewoff

Since I spent a great deal of my time back then on my back! I lost the control over my lower body and I was DEPRESSED! I was in a failed marriage that I feel never really stood a chance? We met at a bar that my band was playing at.And we kinda feel into lust. Married too young and too damn stupid!

With my pal and best man Harry.. He tried to bed my wife after I went to war?Hey, What are friend's for? Ex- friend I should say..... As I thought about it and my throat tightened and strangled my smile. I some how knew we had made a HUGE mistake. But I agreed to try. And if she was having my baby? I would do all I could to see her thru it. This was one of the MORE important bit's of wisdom that my dear father imparted to me. Be a man and stand up to life's problem's. March 21,1965...... Where were you?




One year blow's by and I'am on my way to the Big Pool! Vietnam And then boom I'am in a hospital in Wiesbaden, Germany and more than 6 surgeries and PAIN!!!!! I had memories of Germany from my teen age year's. I loved it there. I worked on post at the gas station and me and a friend. We had a cold water flat and we PARTIED!!! LOL it was great at 16 to be so free and happy. 1963! WHERE WERE YOU? Peace Out! Out Of The Mist! shewoff
