New game: Lights (NetEnt)

Yes, I understand they are for demo purposes.

But what's wrong with questioning the Randomness of the slot, just because it's a Demo?

The Demo obviously illustrates that the slot can be programmed to play a certain way.

The Demo was made to play flawlessly, meaning it was rigged to play this way. I questioned that, and now I'm a dummy :(

did you even watch the video? It's clearly edited.
The demo illustrates the game has designers and creators and editors capable of prouducing a demonstration model, not that theyre running around rigging elements.

I guess every company must be rigged, because I've seen this across all platforms.

Any slots developer can force any result they want, during development, just by feeding in their own numbers instead of using the RNG otherwise it would take countless months of testing to make sure the graphics, sounds, transitions etc were working correctly. Can you imagine testing the top jackpot payout message on Mega Fortune if they had to hit it naturally to see if it came in at the correct time

When it is released to the public it is on the certified RNG.

There is no reason to fix any slot as the profit is built in by the maths, that is not saying that people don't just that there is no reason to.

Thanks for adding your input without sarcasm or condescension.

My quarrel was actually with the programmer feeding in the numbers as he pleased to hit big wins, but when you added that parts "during development and instead of using the RnG", it added a new perspective on my criticism.

So I appreciate and applaud your post

It still doesn't change my opinion that NetEnt games are crap though!

Seeing how they have the program (slot) on their servers and created the program they can probably force those result whenever, It has nothing to do with the slot being rigged. Also all mechanical/techinal random events are programmed (well almost) if you want true randomness then go play roulette at a live table or cards or smth.

Edit: The team that creates these games probably at least have a computer engineer candidate so Im pretty certain that forcing a result like that is like making a cup of coffee.

The videos Netent put up are for demo purposes only, they usually show the features and the best possible pay. I thought this was pretty obvious, i suppose they could make it clear by adding a disclaimer at the beginning of the videos or something like that.

I like that they do the videos this way, they would be incredible boring and useless if they just showed a couple of minutes of actual gameplay.

Yes, waiting for a win of any size would make it the world's highest GB video upload, if fact it would be in terabytes.

I played 100 spins of lights today at Guts. I have to say payout wise it SUCKS. Oh my God is this an awful game. Pretty to look at but totally useless game:(

In my opinion, basing ones opinion of a slot on 100 spins is like driving a Lambo from the driveway to the curb and saying it's an average (or "awful") car.

Nothing wrong with anyones opinion of course, but for most the look and feel of a slot can be measured to fit ones personal taste within much less then 100 spins...

Same goes for Lambo's and experienced drivers :p
Opinions are freely adjustable over time of course, that's the beauty of it!

Edited to add personal opinion:
I had a little go in various casinos with some Free Spin promo's and although i did not hit anything worthwhile, i think i will play this slot some more, as it's fairly cheap and seems just fine for a bit of low rolling. I also think it has some decent potential, but of course would have to play it a bit more to really see if it will become a favorite or not.

Sure, the look and feel of the game can be gauged with 100 spins (or less) but whether the payout is good or not based on 100 spins seems unnecessary. :)

But, sure, everyone is entitled to their opinion, I didn't mean to stir up any emotions on here. Sorry :)

No worries mate, no emotions stirred on my part, just added my 2 cents:)

Great graphics, but that's about it. Wins in the base game are small, few and far between. I don't feel the bonus game makes up for this. After one terrible bonus round, I went for over 300 spins without seeing the feature. It cost more than 200 units. I would continue though if I had any hope of a decent bonus round, but I just don't see it happening.

Think I'll stick to my favorites.

I dont understand why gambling jurestictions allow such games? Its basicky not gambling at all, it just robbery. Its next to impossible to win on this slot. Its basicly just expencive entertainment.

Mother of God, what a piece of crap. I played it at Betsafe a week ago, around 300 spins
with no feature and biggest win probably 20x bet (18c spins). I kept spinning thinking it`s
high variance, waiting for free spins, but gave up.

Then yesterday, I got close to 200 free spins from my casinos, grand total less than 5 euro
I guess. And most of that, 3.50 from 60 spins at ComeOn. WTF?

I am usually looking forward to NetEnt slots, have been kind of defending them, but must admit,
these last games are just godawful.

As a NetEnt fan, even I have to say this game is bad.

The bonus is nearly impossible to get and then it hardly ever pays. Thankfully it not available at the majority of the NetNet casinos I play at, so I can't waste any more money :D

basically the same for me, bonus always pays around 10x stake and very hard to hit.
i did manage a 200x bet in the base game :)

Got some freespins today and the first time ever I thought God no please not this:( This is the worst release from Netent yet. Do they even care that Netent players are starting to get quite annoyed? Do they even care?

Shights is a perfect name for the crappiest game ever released.

What a disgusting game!

Free spins from Guts used as I would never pay money to play this dribble. Shocking.

Any slot that considers $1.50 a big win and starts carrying on like a just won a cool million, should be thrown in a virtual dungeon and terrorized for a minimum 24 years. It's down right insulting.

Keep up the great work Netent. At this rate, you may as well just hand the slots monopoly to your competitors, retire early and grow old miserably whilst telling the grand kids yarns about a time when you were on top of your game and giving those other creators a real run for their money.

Maybe try a little harder to not make it so obvious you're just after our money. Remember when you guys made slots that provided worthwhile entertainment for more than 2 minutes? Ah, those were the days.

Epic Fail!!!

Gonna say............ Played it. Won. Got Bored. Withdrew Ill Never play it again.

Massive step backwards for Netent IMO.

Dull and Depressing

Althou thanks for the nice little win:D
