Please take a moment to read the new rules for blackjack, which are effective immediately at all online casinos.
- If you are dealt a blackjack, a pair of Aces, an 11-point hand or a 20-point hand, against a dealer Ace, the dealer shall have blackjack.
- If for some reason you elect to purchase insurance, the dealer shall not have blackjack.
- In the event of a conflict between rules 1 and 2, the provisions of rule 1 shall apply.
- If you hit a 12-point hand, you shall receive a 10-point card.
- If you double an 11-point hand against a dealer 7 through 10, you shall receive an Ace or a Deuce.
- If the dealer is showing a 10-point card in a game which offers no hole card, and you reach exactly 21 with your hand, the dealer's next card shall be an Ace.
- If you are dealt a 16-point hand against a dealer 10, and surrendering is not an option, you shall receive a 10-point card when you hit, and the dealer's hole card shall be a 6.
- If you hit soft 18 against a dealer 9, 10 or Ace, you shall receive an 8 or a 9.
- If you double soft 18 against a dealer 2 through 6, you shall receive a 4.
- If you are dealt a pair of eights, the dealer shall have a 10-point hole card and a 9 or 10-point upcard.
- If you increase your bet after winning five or more successive hands, you shall not win that hand.
- If you increase your bet after losing five or more successive hands, you shall not win that hand.
- There are two types of pushes: good and bad. Any push of a 20 or 21-point hand is deemed a bad push. A good push occurs when, for example, you are dealt an 8 and a 9 against a dealer 10, and the dealer's hole card is a 7.
- Bad pushes shall occur no less than twice as often as good pushes.
- If you split your hand and achieve 21 in each hand, the dealer shall also achieve 21.
