I need help as I have just build a new website connectsbetting.com and need help from Affiliate members how to promote the website and suggestions of how to make it better (In any way). Its in its infant stage and at the moment is acting as a directory however I am open to all suggestions.

I know that this is not the right section and I apologize for posting here (Suggest webaster to move it to right section please).

Okay, I'll give you a break here. I initially shit-canned your account for spamming the board, but I realized you may have not read the policies concerning Webmasters and such due to English not being your mother tongue.

Please read the policies for webmasters here:
https://www.casinomeister.com/forum-faq/forum-policies/

I'm sure some webmasters will give you some advice here. For one thing, please remove the Casinomeister logo from your site. If you want to link to the site, that's fine, but please don't use my logos. Thank you.

How to promote affiliate website

Hi, I would appreciate if anyone can help on this issue. I understand how the affiliate program works infect I have registered with some casinos and got the material and tracking code. My main question is how to get traffic to my website? My website has a catchy name and believe than be used as a directory. Getting SEO is not easy. Im lost. I can transform my website into a bog but I don't have the time to maintain it every day. I am trying to make an extra income but I need someone to point me to the right direction.Link Outdated / Removed

Hi Ben,
Thanks for the reply any kind. I have removed the banner from my website. I left the link as per your suggestion. It wasnt my intention of spamming and I apologize for that. I need help to get someone to point me in the right direction.

His name's Bryan - not Ben!

Your site is just what is called a "banner farm" - just loads of flashing banners and zero information.
To be brutally honest, the only way you are going to get any sign-ups is blind luck!
You definitely need to add some quality content, and if you are thinking of putting a link in your signature here at CM in the future, you need to stop promoting the one or two rogue casinos on your site.

No it's right there in CM's signature, his name is clearly 'Ben Franklin' ;)

I don't have the time to maintain it every day.

That is the main problem. You have millions of websites competing against yours, and webmasters working full-time (often more than full-time) to promote their sites.

You can't expect that creating a few pages with minimal time and effort will result in traffic and income. Otherwise everybody would be spending a week to make a new site, then retiring to a tropical paradise.

Instead of asking for traffic and SEO advice from gambling webmasters, I would recommend you first read everything you can find about general (non-gambling) SEO and internet marketing. You'll find a lot of great sites with tons of useful information.

Don't expect to get easy answers, because there are none. First learn everything you can, then ask for help when you have more specific questions.

No affiliate makes any money online these days without a LOT of work, and a lot of reading.

Fist of all thanks to KasinoKing and Jinn. Yes it seems that I have mistaken his name as I confused with signature... lol.

I understand you completely. When I said "I dont have time" reason being that I work full time and I only would have a few time to manage per day if any and that is why I do not want a blog. This site is more like a test and you make sense of what you have suggested. So I would have to dig in for more information and make it more ....how to say... appealing.

As for the rogue casino you mentioned I cannot find them on the list maybe i'm missing something. Can anyone point me to them so that I will delete them. I don't want to promote any rogue casinos knowing that they are difficult in payouts to clients and myself.

Thanks for the information much appreciated.

BTW thanks Bryan.:)

Go to CM's Rogue List here: https://www.casinomeister.com/rogue-casinos/

Near the top: Betfair
Near the bottom: Wager21 Casinos - includes Lady Dream and Lucky Dog .

There may be some others - I only glanced quickly at your site - you should really check all your casinos one by one.
You also list a couple casinos I've never heard of (which is quite unusual), so I don't know about them.

Thanks KasinoKing for pointing them out. I will remove them.
I did take your criticism seriously and I thank you for that as it helped me to change and take a different approach completely. I'm in the process to reconstruct the website totally and make it more appealing and with information. I will only keep some affiliate casinos which i think they are promising rather than have a lot. That is what i needed!! Well... let me get cracking...I will keep you posted once its done to have some feedback... Regards,

I suggest checking out several different affiliate websites to get an idea of what you should do to make your site more appealing for players. Content is key according to everything I've read. Just google online casino reviews, online casino guide or something of that nature to find other sites you can learn from. Make sure the sites are from the top of the list since those are usually the ones that are most successful. Good luck with your affiliate journey!
